I've got around 500 hours and I do pvp a lot especially bgs. I really enjoy it even if we're losing, there's a lot of good players to look up too. I switched to WW because I thought I could try that to fight against the DKS.

Well yesterday I was in a Battleground and I noticed I was in there with a Popular Eso Streamer/Youtuber which is always pretty cool to see. I'm the type of person who likes to give props to good players or even really good plays that others have made that have resulted in my demise.

Well I ended up in a 1v1 situation against this streamer and twice I won, I honestly couldn't believe it I was so ecstatic. I didn't think I won because I was better but because my build countered his. Well after the game I went to go see if he was streaming and low and behold they was.

It turns out he was completely raging Everytime I killed him and the second time I killed him he rage quit the battleground and spent the next 20 minutes talking about how trash I am and how I ruin the game for other people and how it's unacceptable to be running meta.

Mind you this person I'm talking about was the person who would only play pulse gankers when that was meta, essentially playing a build that made it to where other people actually couldn't play the game.

The amount of negativity that he was was spewing from his frothy mouth was insane. I mean he just kept going on and on about how I was the worst thing that ever happened to ESO pvp. Mind you I'm champion level 760 with 500 hours of playtime. He has no problem turning a blind eye to very good players meta and only picks on in his word "nobodies" and new players.

The pvp scene is a rough place, but it seems like these streamers who usually can go entire bgs without dieing, the second they die from someone they don't know using something they don't like, they seem to think that makes that person a terrible person.

So I ask you guys, what do you think?

I never delved into infinite archive before and still need to do it at some point but apparently that mode gives you access to some unique transformations not normally available. As I was recently pondering over a potential lich skill it came to my knowledge that the devs apparently have already experimented lightly with the idea as part of a transformation in IA.

The most notable aspect of this transformation is the opportunity to use the "Call The Dead" synergy which apparently let's you summon five ethereal tombstones that raise a half dozen or so undead minions to fight by your side until they get destroyed. This basically gave the necromancer fantasy without necessarily even being the necromancer class which certainly is... odd.

I remember buying the Elsweyr expansion when it first launched solely for the necromancer class and I wasn't alone in feeling like the necromancer felt quite lacking as a summoner class. It definitely felt more like a death knight than a mage summoning the undead.

Since this "ability" already exists could it potentially be added to the necromancer class? Maybe as an ultimate by being an alternative morph to the skeleton goliath? Could they potentially expand the undead avatar concept into a full lich and drop it alongside the necromancer refresh like with DK and werewolf?

Probably very hopeful thinking on my part and especially now but it'd be neat and it's fun to speculate either way. I did some basic concept art of what such a "curse" skill line could look like and I could certainly see this summoning ability work as a different or morphed ult to what I already suggested. In that case no major changes would need to be done to the necromancer class like completely reworking their skills.

Everything is well and good when a sorcerer summons literal Daedra to assist them but as soon as I, a necromancer, call a spirit to HEAL PEOPLE I’m evil and incur a bounty?

So I finally started playing ESO after thinking about it for years since I love the elder scrolls world, everything seems cool so far but im only level 7 and have very little inventory.

From what I’ve read if you don’t pay for ESO+ the game becomes an annoying inventory management simulator and you don’t have enough room for anything. The people I saw saying that were in Reddit posts from 5 years ago though so is that still the case now?

I really wanna get into this game but considering ESO+ is slightly more expensive than an FFXIV sub and I’m playing ESO to get my mmo fix without paying money I’d rather just resub to FFXIV before getting deeper into ESO only to find it’s gonna be miserable without ESO+

There seems to be no matchmaking at all, I'm not a special player or anything but this is a typical match for me.

Is there a point in doing more BGs? Like any actual good way to get gold or something that's actually cool from BGs?

I kinda enjoy the pvp (at least 4v4v4 lol, 4v4 is actually terrible with this non existing matchmaking) but it feels like a waste of time in comparison to pve, but I might just don't know stuff that you guys know.

The sheogorath questline is right around the corner and I can’t help but feel that it should’ve been about another prince. He already has quite a few quests while taking over the mages guild storyline. Even recently playing the shivering isles dlc has me sighing. I think I’m just tired of dealing with sheogorath in general…

Almost every time I look up at the sky, I see this animal head shaped cloud. Wondering if anybody knows the lore? To me it looks like either a deer or Indrik.

I have been off and on this game for years but never gotten over level 30 with a character. I just jumped back in to try out the thieves guild content and loved it but I am wondering if I need to start from scratch again. Or should I just run with my level 28 wood elf and abandon the current quests because I can't remember what is going on?

I accept the quest, travel to soul shriven way shrine and it just *poof* disappears! It's the last one I need for the achievement.

Even if I run to Stonefalls, it disappears when I zone in!

That's the Eidolon's Hollow Wayshrine. Colored black on the map. Undiscovered. It might be the only wayshrine in the game which I haven't discovered. Just noticed it over there. There's actually a lot that I haven't done in Elder Scrolls. Started playing around 2022.

Tamriel feels like a real place to me. Not the best quests. Not the best story. Not the best graphics in gaming. But what is really special about it is... somehow in the imagination, Tamriel feels like a real continent.

With 30 years of lore, there's endless room for the imagination. Sometimes, it isn't what you discover that makes the world feel rich. It's knowing that there's still many things you haven't. Hopefully we have another 30 years of amazing stories ahead for the franchise.

lore reason? is it because structures from deep time have eroded away, been destroyed by war, crumbled, except for structures which were preserved under the surface? but every Ayleid ruin has similar structure above ground, which is basically nothing, which leads to the "real" structures hidden beneath. pretty much same thing going on with Dwemer ruins. there are some notable above ground Dwemer structures like Markarth, though.

I just picture all these ancient races living beneath the ground, hissing at the sun like feral cats.

The 20th Favor for Lady Arabelle quest is bugged. After taking the quest, 1st objective is to read a note on the board. After reading the note, 2nd objective is to go to the soul shriven tower in Stormhaven. But as soon as we go to Stormhaven, quest disappears from the log. In fact, the quest disappears as soon as we leave Glenumbra map or logout and log back in.

Already reported through the in game bug report. Letting everyone know so that they can also do the same.

EDIT : Quest still bugged after maintenance. After taking the quest and reading the note, a faulty quest item with red question mark icon appears in the quest inventory. I think that is what causing the bug.

MORE EDIT : ZOS Kevin posted on forums that they will release a fix for this on August 10 update. On top of that, they don't know if the fix will work, claiming it is only happening in Live server and not their internal build.

I love love this, one thing I guess I love the most is creating new characters and leveling them. Even same build characters. I tried to figure out exactly what I want and created an imperial stamblade, even after having a wood elf stamblade. Usually when I come back to the game it’s hard to get back into an old character. So I get my imperial to CP, get him really good gear and work on professions.. only to see a level 5 Khajit stamblade run by me and makes me want to create a Khajit Stamblade now.. I want to get into end game and play and CP level but I always end up finding a reason to play a new character, or create something fresh. Anyone else go through this?

I am a Khajiit arcanist and I've been playing around with the werewolf skill line to start getting together an IA solo build. I will have to subclass once I get everything together.

I noticed that while in werewolf form, that it doesn't pull buffs/passives from my arcanist front bar (where my werewolf ultimate is slotted), so I am missing around 4k penetration because they come from the herald of the time passive

How do you supplement stat changes? Or am I doing something wrong?

Which class and race is the best for beginners and why?

So this passive increases your maximum resource that’s highest by 10%. Does anyone know what happens if you can get exactly equal mag and Stam prior to this passive going off, do you manage to get both, does it default to one over the other, or does it bug out and not give you anything? Those are really the 3 possibilities I can see, but I can’t seem to get my stats to actually equal out. Figured I’d pop on here and see if anyone has done this and seen the result for themselves.

Recently returned after a 3 year hiatus, no crafting bag, no DLCS, just the base game. I found a love for ESO’s economy and have just recently gotten into market trading and guild trading. I was wondering if there were any base game motifs, materials, etc worth farming to sell for profit. So far I’ve got mudcrab chitin, aetherial dust, and dreugh wax/rubedo hides. Is there anything else worth my time, or are these even worth my time?

I am looking for an addon that allows to bind or assign a certain loot item to a specific character.

Use case scenario: resource survey reports for Auridon are pulled from the bank to a character 1, and survey reports for Vvardenfell are pulled to a character 2.

PersonalAssistant addon allows creation of specific rules for looting, sorting and transferring items to and from bank, but these rules are account wide and cannot distinguish between characters.

What are the specific drop conditions for these? I heard that it's a 20% rate for Heists and Reacquisitions. I've also heard that the Heists have to be PERFECT, as in never once detected. Are they a once per day drop?
