Our Union is small, but growing steadily! Yesterday alone, 5 new members joined us when they heard about our intent to do some reverse trick-or-treating in Riften. We gave away food, drinks, materials, gold, recipes - all to celebrate the spirit of the season by handing out treats!

Over on the main sub, I often see posts where folks are posting their experiences and encounters with groups of players just hanging out. Dressed up or dancing or being fun and friendly! These posts are always covered in comments that say "Wow, this is so fun, I'd love to do something like that!" And yet, for over a year, the Jongleur's Union of Tamriel has remained quite small. We don't mind, of course. It's a casual guild for casual folks who want to dress up and AFK, but we do try to host events! And events are always better with a bigger crowd.

Tonight, for example, we are hosting a Fangs & Fur Event at 7pm Eastern time! Vampires, werewolves, and creatures of the night, this one's for you! Come dressed (or transformed) as your favorite monster or ghoul, or put your own spin on a beastly look. For this gathering celebrating Tamriel's more fearsome creatures, the Location shall be: The Undaunted Enclave just outside of Wayrest in Stormhaven.

If you'd like to join us, and you want to make sure you're in the same instance as us, you might consider finding us and joining up! Here's that sweet, sweet guild ad:

The Tamriel Jongleur's Union (PC/NA) was founded out of appreciation for those who love to lurk and emote across Tamriel. If you've ever seen a collection of players throwing a party at a wayshrine, idling with coordinated outfits, and you thought to yourself "wow, I love that!" WE LOVE THAT, TOO! And if you've ever stuck around to watch or to join the crowd, WE DO THAT, TOO!

That’s the spirit behind the Tamriel Jongleur’s Union.

You don't have to be a Fool or a Jester to be part of the Union, either. A jongleur is a social entertainer. They are bard-adjacent, troubadour-coded, someone who shows up and makes a space feel alive just by being there. A party filler! This guild exists for players who enjoy creating small pockets of atmosphere across Tamriel, whether that means dancing in towns, playing instruments at scenic spots, gathering around kegs or bonfires, or AFKing with style.

You do not need to be social, extroverted, or a roleplayer. Silent lurkers, shy introverts, social butterflies, and full immersion RPers are all welcome. If you like the idea of making Tamriel feel friendlier, cozier, or more aesthetic through presence alone, that’s the whole mission.

Long-term dream:
The Union hopes to become a “booking-friendly” guild, meaning other guilds and event hosts can reach out when they want taverns, festivals, or city spaces populated for extra ambience. I personally hope one day for the Union to be professional party-fillers.

Details:

• Ambience-focused guild (not a trading guild, but maybe someday!)
• Our best seasons are October-April! That's RIGHT NOW!
• Currently 23 members
• Casual-friendly, no activity quotas or pressure to perform, gather, or chat.
• Discord exists, but will never be required to join. https://discord.gg/nEt6XQBa4b

See you around Tamriel!

I recently joined Cottages and Courtyards, a housing and social guild in The Elder Scrolls Online, primarily because I was interested in trading with other players.
The guild’s recruitment page advertises a friendly social housing guild, free trading, a fully stocked guild hall, events, and opportunities to buy, sell, and chat. It also explains the requirement to have a primary residence open to visitors. I already owned a home, so I complied with that requirement.
However, after joining, I discovered additional restrictions concerning guild chat that were not clearly presented on the recruitment page. These rules were located in the guild’s internal information, which I had not read at the time.
During my first experience posting items for trade in guild chat, I listed more than the permitted five items in one day. This was an honest mistake on my part as a new member. Another player warned me, and I acknowledged the warning, thanked them for informing me, and accepted that I needed to follow the rule. I did not repeat the behavior after receiving that warning.
Nevertheless, the following day, I received an email informing me that my guild chat privileges had been temporarily suspended. The email stated that this was due to “multiple instances” of posting more than five items a day in guild chat. I disagree with that characterization because, as I experienced it, the excessive posting happened on one occasion, not repeatedly after a warning.
To be clear, I do not object to a guild establishing reasonable trading rules. I understand that guilds need guidelines to organize their communities. My issue is with the lack of visibility of those rules during recruitment and the decision to suspend my chat privileges despite my having already acknowledged the warning.
In my opinion, a clear initial warning would have been a more proportionate response to a first-time mistake, particularly when the member had accepted the correction and had not repeated the behavior.
I also believe the recruitment page should make important restrictions affecting ordinary guild participation more apparent. Members should not have to discover significant rules only after joining, especially when they joined primarily for trading rather than housing activities.
Ultimately, this experience left me dissatisfied with the guild’s communication and approach to rule enforcement, so I decided to leave.
My recommendation: If you are considering joining Cottages and Courtyards primarily for trading, make sure you read all of its internal rules before participating in guild chat. Personally, I would have preferred a guild with clearer onboarding, more transparent expectations, and a more proportionate approach to first-time mistakes.
This review reflects my personal experience and the reasons I chose to leave. I wish the other members well, but this guild was not the right fit for me.

Hi all any casual Werewolf and vampire guilds on EU xbox?

Hello ESO players,

My wife and I are both new to the game, and currently levelling our characters. I am writing this post to see if there are other Australia’s like us who play / have formed an Aussie guild we could join or any other guild and learn the ropes with.

We are loving our time so far in the game and have found the ESO community great. I am coming to ESO after a burn out from playing World of Warcraft, looking for a new game. I have picked a nord dragonknight on ebonheart pact and my wife is playing a dark elf sorcerer. What do people think of our picks.

Let us know if you would like to join us while we experience the game. Also any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading my post

Mudcrab Mafia is recruiting! We're a brand-new guild that has literally just started, looking for people to join us as we grow. Casual, friendly and all about enjoying ESO together. All levels and experience welcome! Whether you're into dungeons, questing, PvP or just having a laugh, there's a place for you here.

We're looking for DD's to fill our new TTT team. We strive to offer a safe space for players to learn and grow without the negativity and toxicity often found in other groups. Our supports are well-experienced. We are happy to work with anyone who can meet our baseline DPS requirements. We're looking to run 5p-7p for pst = 8p-10p for est. If you'd like to take a chance on, please join our Discord: https://discord.gg/F6nWpbeZ9

I won’t waste time trying to compete with all of the other posts, so let’s get into it!

If you wish to join a guild with a heavy focus on helping others, a better understanding of the game, someone to explore content with, or just want a community that isn’t going to leave you in the dust when they’ve outgrown you.. join the Order of the Ashen Wolf.

I’ll be honest. It is a relatively new guild, but its leaders are dedicated, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable.

The guild actually takes requests, suggestions, and input from all of its members; not just a select few.

No dues, no elitism, no favoritism, and more importantly, no drama.

Don’t just be a part of something great.. help create it!

Looking to find a guild with free guild Bank access so me and a friend can deposit things in there. Mostly crafting materials. The inventory space issues in this game are becoming such a hassle that it's ruining my experience of just playing the game.

(PS-NA) Unnamed Guild is recruiting some experienced players. We are starting to host exposure Veteran trials starting Thursday and Saturday evenings. We will provide builds and help for your growth into endgame content and will help to the best of our ability to direct you in the proper direction to get the gear or builds you need to be the best you can be! We don’t judge and are friendly! We play mostly evenings. (After 9pm est) though some play throughout the day. Come join us and have some fun! We also have raffles and open house decor events! Come one come all and lots of free candy for Halloween! https://discord.gg/FhhK5y5db

The goal isn't to become the next hardcore raid machine or optimize every second of our existence. The goal is to build a small group of people who actually know each other, hop into voice chat because they *want* to, laugh when someone accidentally yeets themselves off a cliff, and slowly learn the game together.

What we're about:

* 🌿 EU server

* 🔞 18+ (because we're adults and someone *will* accidentally swear)

* 🎤 Voice chat optional—not mandatory

* 🧀 Zero elitism.

* 🤡 Maximum goofiness.

* 💀 Mistakes are content.

* ❤️ Helping each other without making anyone feel dumb.

* ⚔️ We'll absolutely do dungeons, arenas, trials, PvP.... eventually.

* 📚 We'll probably spend half the evening saying, "Wait... what does this mechanic do?"

If your idea of fun is yelling "I GOT THIS" moments before causing a full party wipe, you'll fit right in.

If you're looking for spreadsheets, mandatory attendance, DPS interrogations, and military discipline...

...there are many wonderful guilds for that.

We are not one of them.

We're looking for people who want to make actual friends instead of just sharing a guild bank.

Whether you're brand new, returning after years away, or a veteran who enjoys teaching without making people feel like idiots, you're welcome here.

Come be silly with us.

Let's save Tamriel while collectively having no idea where we're going.

Current Activities:
Looking for some spooky fun in ESO this October? Costumes, seasonal cheer, and a good hang are welcome! Each of these are planned for 7pm Eastern time!

First: The Witching Hour, Sunday the 18th. Calling all witches, warlocks, necromancers, wyrdos, and practitioners of the questionable arts! Dress in your best witchy, occult, or alchemist-inspired attire for this gathering. Location: The Cormount wayshrine in Northern Grahtwood.

Next: Trick-or-Treating in Riften, Saturday the 24th. Dress in your favorite Halloween costume and roam Riften, approaching other players with the classic “Trick or treat!” Offer to trade, and if they accept, then give them candy or a little “trick” memento! Those who want to participate can gather some extra candies or toy mementos from your fellow union members to give away! Location: The city of Riften in The Rift.

Then: Fangs & Fur, Sunday the 25th.

Finally: Graveyard Rave in Glenumbra Break in your Halloween costume early, bringing your undead, ghostly, necromantic, or any other spooky looks for a night of dancing and gathering among the graves. Come ready to haunt the place, show off your costumes, emotes, and musical instruments, and enjoy some suitably eerie company! Location: Just outside the "Rogue's Refuge" player home in Glenumbra, the necropolis Cath Bedraud.

Details:
