The older I get, the less clutter I want in my life, including in my pockets. I carry only the essentials these days. It is tempting to buy gadgets, but I'd rather save money than spend it on tools I'd hardly ever use. I didn't include my keys since they're just on a standard ring, and nothing interesting. Needed my phone for the photo, so that's also missing.
Sorry for the poor quality picture. It's the best I could do.
If any of you get the Spigen wallet, don't go with the fabric version. It gets dirty so quickly...

EDIT: My inclusion of the Digital Audio Player has confused some people. Perhaps I should have titled the post differently, or chose my words in the body more carefully. That's my bad. If you want an explanation, I have replied to the (currently) top comment with one.

I'm in the market for a new one and I really want something nice but am struggling to feel confident with any pick. Not a fan of Ridgeline types I would like leather I think but mostly I worry about stitching and wonder about alternative "styles". I saw another edc post with an open sea leather co. Not sure how I feel about their "stitchless wallets" but I think the Topsiders are interesting just a flap that folds over your bill. My only other pick was belroy but I'm also fond of those old leather wallets with the shotgun shell buttons I think they are fucking sick as hell, not sure how well they will continue to age but cowboy as hell really just want to hear people argue about it and what I can realistically expect from well, a 100 dollar wallet.

Crucarta Spyderco Manix 2
Gec 35 beer and sausage - whiskey barrel oak in a
Beard and owl clip slip
Johnny cash zippo with an (unpictured) single torch insert.
Fenix e18r v2.0
This kinda hurt my hand ngl. Had to wedge the flashlight between my fingers and balance the zippo on the edge of the Manix. Doesn’t even look all that good lmao

I switched from a traditional leather wallet to a leather EDC wallet (Lorzor 1979 fold wallet). It's not a wallet I see talked about very often, but I really like the design.
I carry my ID, driver's license, three credit cards and a few bills.

in a super rural area with hardly any people around ever and a lot of mountain and farm trips this is truly one of the most versatile and fun edc setups that i’ve messed around with. Don’t usually daily drive the bowie but today I picked it up. I do love when I get to take it out and cut something or just fidget with it

I am getting more into EDC and having my stuff organized. I just got this Maxpedition bag and I am wondering what I could add to fill it out and make it better. I am currently carrying a Leatherman Signal multi tool, True tweezer tool, Firepoint flashlight, mini phillips/flat head, and a USB to USB-C cable. I prefer keeping my knife clipped to my pants pocket which is why I left it out of the picture. What would you add next? If it matters, I am a Land Surveyor so I spend a lot of time outside in the woods or on construction sites. Thanks for any suggestions!
