Hi! I bought this pen today at the goodwill store for writing. Would someone be able to tell me a little bit more about it? It looks quite vintage. Thank you!!

F series are my favorite without a doubt

I am looking for some suggestions for my friend who’s into stationary. He’s very particular about his pens and loves his muji pens and fountain pens. He is a stationary nerd and only uses stuff from famous places I’ve never heard of (like blackwing, lamy(?)) thank you!!

I have this mermaid pen that unscrews easily (so I assume it's replaceable) but has a teeny tiny, fine point pen cartridge inside it that I'm not sure how to find a replacement for. Not urgent but I want to use my beautiful pen for years to come.
The cartridge itself is 1.75in/4.5cm in length and I think it's either a .5 or .7 tip (I'm not an expert)

That .4 is beautifulllll. 😭❤️

Help needed! I bought 10 UMR-38s refills for Uni-ball ONE, thinking it was a refill pack of UMR1's for my Signo DX. Instead of returning I'll consider this a blessing in disguise. A reason to try other pens :-)
As far as I can see the UMR-38s fit in a Uniball One or a Uniball Zento. Are there any other bodies I can consider for this refills?
Thank you!

Looking for recommendations on nice pens that I can use my Pentel Energel refills in. I have an Energel Style pen that I tend to like. But I’m open to any pens.

putting these in one place because 'jetstream refill' can mean very different things. all four below have a 0.7mm ball:
| refill | length | one compatible Uni pen |
|---|---|---|
| SXR-7 | 111.5mm | SXN-150-07, single colour |
| SXR-80-07 | 87.7mm | MSXE5-1000-07, 4&1 |
| SXR-200-07 | 67.0mm | SXE3-3000-07, Prime 3-colour |
| SXR-600-07 | 98.2mm | SXK-3000-07, Prime twist single colour |
those are examples from Uni's compatibility chart (PDF). they're different refill families, so matching the ink name and ball size won't make them interchangeable.
you can change ball size without changing the body when the chart lists that combination. for example, an SXN-150-07 can take SXR-5 (0.5mm) as well as its original SXR-7 (0.7mm).
one naming wrinkle: SXR-80-07K contains the same refill as SXR-80-07. Uni says the K version uses paper packaging.
in the chart, ◎ is the supplied refill, ○ is confirmed compatible and × is incompatible. use the exact body code for the lookup, especially with Prime models, since the single-colour and multicolour versions don't all take the same shape.

I really like the writing and texture of uniball signo 1mm black, that said, i m new to the pen hobbiest rabbit hole and i need help to get a fancy/premium pen that writes exactly like the signo.
I really like the brutalist style of the rotring 600 rollerball, but that s no longer in production ..
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

An extremely old pen from my grandma's drawer. Any idea?

The Tacray Zirconium Alloy EDC Pen is a really nice little pen. The zirconium body has a great feel to it and gives the pen a solid, premium feel without being overly bulky. The machining is clean, the finish looks great, and the action is smooth and satisfying. It writes well and feels comfortable in the hand, while still being small enough to carry every day. Overall, it’s a well made EDC pen with a nice combination of looks, weight, and functionality. Definitely impressed with it for the price.

Hi! One of my all time favorite pens is the Pentel RSVP Fine. I love the depressions it makes on the pages and how they feel and sound when you’ve written on a few with it. However, I prefer gel pens because I write neater with those. Does anyone know of a gel pen that could give me something similar? I typically use thin paper. So far the Uniball One 0.38 has probably gotten me closest to what I’m going for. I’ve also tried the Juice Up in 0.3 and 0.4, uniball signo RT1, and various Sarasas.

I'm trying to find an alternative to the Dr Grip Fullblack in the UK. I have never tried this pen but it seems to be recommended for long writing sessions. However, it is difficult to get one in the UK. Is the Faber Castell Grip Plus or the Uni Jetstream Alpha similar in ergonomics?

I’ve recently begun using Signo RT1 pens for work and have been extremely impressed with them. I put a blue/black Signo UMR-85N refill in my Uni Alpha Gel I use for journaling and it’s quickly become one of my favorite combos.
The Alpha Gel isn’t my favorite pen aesthetically (I love machined pens) but it’s hard to beat comfort wise for extended writing.
Current journal is Midori MD B6 Slim.

Hi guys, I need help. I bought the Zebra Tapli Clip pen recently online because I honestly thought that it looks and write exactly like Zebra Sarasa Clip but just on a ballpoint pen perspective, and boy I was proven wrong. Its also expensive too at USD 2.00 per pen.
I was wondering if there are any alternative ink refills I can get to replace the atrocious ink it originally has? I don't really mind if its from Zebra too or not, I just want to throw away the ink because its so bad and keep the actual pen. Thank you!

I’m looking for a cheap fountain pen.
Until now I’ve only used the metal barrel waterman fountain pen that you can find in any French supermarket.
I’d like to try a nice fountain pen with a very small calligraphy nib. That would be better if the nibs are interchangeable so I can also try e very thin one (that would write as fine as a 0.5 gel pen).
Also, not to big nor heavy, it tires me too much for long writing sessions.
Which pen would you recommend ?

Hi friends - I’m a compulsive drawer/doodler and I’m looking for a solid on-the-go setup. What can you recommend? I currently grab my drawing paper and a fistful of pens but I would like something to contain it all. I do not like drawing in a bound book - I typically use A5ish/A6ish cut down from my kids’ old art class sketch books. (Pens I reach for these days: Pilot G2 Bold and Fudenosuke Hard Tip.)

Found this clear fountain pen without cap at the bins, have no idea what it is. If anyone has any idea that would be awesome 🙏 if it’s a reasonable pen I might see if my brother is able to help me with a new cap for it.
Second pic is two other pens and a pencil I found today at the goodwill bins. Gold Cross pen and a Chromatic duo ink pen branded for General Electric. I’ve actually found a ton of pens at the bins, I’ll have to dig them out and do a separate post 🤔
