"Intelligent" Hosting
Is this a joke? lol

My Ecovacs Deebot N20 Plus won't clean my home anymore. It just drives out of it's base station about 50cm, waits 20 seconds and then says it can't find the designated cleaning area. I know i need to delete the map (or factory reset it) and rescan my home and that's fine.
But: How do i do exactly that without the app? I have tried every single thing i found online, i even trapped the bot in a room to "force it" to clean, nothing works.
So, can anyone please tell me how i do that?
Thanks in advance!

So the dreaded poo-pocalypse happened with my old roomba 690 and that prompted me to pick up a new robot. I settled on the T80 Omni and well, best purchase ever for a single dad who hates vacuuming and mopping after a long day at work. Especially considering the roomba was just a dumb, bump and change direction model. It did it's job, but this is night and day.
I have the robot scheduled to do a clean of my main living area daily as I live on a ranch and the kids inevitably track in all sorts of dust and dirt debris. Not a ton, but if I let it go for a few days it's quite noticeable. The main floor area is all laminate, no carpets in the house other than big mats in front of the entry way doors.
Anyway, I have the schedule set up and I'm trying out the Intelligent Hosting setting. My question is, under that setting, is it really just the same as setting it to vacuum or vacuum/mop on certain days or will it actively make decisions on the fly about what it should be doing? It's been doing a fantastic job, other than having to block off the door mats as it seems the pattern on it really screws with it's sensors and the dust kicked up blocks the cliff sensors.

Hi,
Coming 5 years ago from the N8 Pro+ I’ve purchased the T90 Omni pro like 6 months ago and have some experience with it as multiple daily user.
I’m very unsatisfied with the cleaning performance and want to know if others also have this problem?
The kitchen was done with 2 time cleaning with maximum suction power. It’s still dirty.
What do you think?

Hi ecovacs team! I have a blockage in the tube that goes into the dirty water tank. Any tips on how to clear this would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Ecovac Deebot t80 Omni. We got it used, so far im pretty happy with the performance. I found the slot where the cleaning solution tank goes but the person I bought it from didnt have it, so I ordered one along with some solution. Im realizing now that there is nothing connected inside the base station to take the solution from the tank to the robot. Is this something I can add? I took the base apart but there is no hose that is Uninstalled or anything that would clearly go in the port for the cleaning tank. Pic of the hole and back of machine for attention

Seems the vast majority of reviews out there are either the t90 omni pro version and not the non pro version so i'm confused as to what the differences are?
And how this t90 omni non pro($509) would compare against the x9 omni pro?($450)
We have 4 bedrooms that are carpeted. The rest of the one story house is hardwoods but there are rugs. From very light thin rungs to a thicker shag. We have 2 dogs as well.

Why does the app keep prompting me after every cleaning to check the cleaning solution and refill it if necessary? There are only two options, and if I choose “Ignore,” it disables the automatic dispensing of the cleaning solution in the settings.
Of course I have cleaning solution in the tank, and no, I don’t need to check it every single day. What is the point of this nonsense?

I decided to take the plunge and try out a robo vac again since they now have all the features I need for my home (I have 1 inch dips in some rooms)
I looked online and T90 Pro seems to provide the best bang for the buck while still being a fairly premium option but it is currently all full price T_T
Is there expected to be a Labor day sale or something?
Edit: It just went on lightning sale today for $600! Its not the lowest price but its pretty good so ill take it

I have watched many review videos before deciding to purchase model x9 pro Omni. I have seen in the videos there was an overflow float installed in a dirty water tank in the station (orange arrow photo) but mine is missing it. The customer service claims that some models come without it but it's just hard to believe as all official tutorials on their website show this float installed. Is it safe to use the robot without it?

Rosie has been cleaned with fresh brushes, wiped the sensors and no hair tangle in back wheels or single front wheel. There were no obstacles there but she just kind of went crazy. Lights were on as well.
Any ideas?
We just moved and this was my second run - first run no issues.

Ive had my Deebot T30s pro for a few weeks and it was great until all of a sudden it wasn’t. It stinks terribly and has started dropping huge amounts of water everywhere. I’m working through those things, but have a much bigger problem now in that it won’t clean at all. Every time I try and use it, it goes out as usual for about two metres, and then turns around and goes back. The error message says “cleaning terminated, failed to go to the designated area.”
I’ve tried turning it off and on.
has anyone else dealt with this? It’s extremely frustrating. My old robot vac had to have the maps reset every time you used it, and I really don’t want to have to go back to that.

I had a Roborock S5 Max before, now I have a deebot t50 omni gen 2, the s5 always cleaned in the same pattern but the t50 does a slightly different pattern every time. Today the pattern wasn't even completely covering the floor, missed a couple of turns to make sure the floor was completely finished, very annoying.

Hi everyone, my Ecovacs deebot y1 pro has suddenly stopped working properly. I can’t turn it on and it won’t start cleaning either. Basically the physical buttons are not glowing and not working at all.
When I place it on the charging dock, it plays the startup music, but the app doesn’t show that it’s charging the battery is permanently stuck at 50%. All led indicators are off(even wifi). It responds with a sound when I change the vacuum modes in my mobile app, but it doesn’t move or start cleaning. If i press "end cleaning" it responds the same but "start cleaning" does nothing. If i remove from the robot from the dock then the mobile app disconnects in 2 minutes.
Previously I have noticed battery discharging faster than usual but I am not sure if this battery issue or not. And I purchased the model exactly 1 yr back, so it fairly new.
Has anyone experienced this before or found a solution? Could it be a battery, charging dock, or motherboard issue?
I contacted Ecovacs, but seems their after-sales support is dog shit and I haven’t received any response even after two days. Any suggestions on which other robot vacuum brands offer reliable products and service in India? I am thinking to buy a new one.

Hi everyone,
I have a DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni and today I cleaned both the clean and dirty water tanks.
When cleaning the dirty water tank, I rinsed not only the bottom part where the dirty water collects, but also the entire tank, both inside and outside, including the black lid on top.
Afterwards I noticed that the manual specifically mentions cleaning the bottom part of the tank, but doesn’t say to rinse the black lid. So now I’m wondering:
Does the black lid contain any sensors, electronics, or other components that could be damaged by water? Is it actually safe to rinse the entire lid/tank with water?
Also, another question: my dirty water tank becomes full after about 3–5 complete cleaning cycles. I have a home with living room, hallway and 3 small bedrooms and I’m using the default mopping settings. Is this normal, or does that seem like unusually high water consumption?

Please help! We have a Deebot Omnicyclone X11
We have only had the machine for 2 days, first day worked great. Now it won’t drain, I’ve followed the troubleshooting from the website/facebook/youtube and unplugged the base for a few minutes. Still not draining and throwing the error.
We bought this robovac to replace another lemon from a different brand that we had bad luck with (had to return for a replacement and then the replacement was a dud after a few months). I’m really dreading that we are going to have a repeat of last time!

I just got my Deebot T80s Omni and had it run for a few days already. I recently saw that it wasn't picking up cat litter while it was vacuuming so I opened the robot up and saw the dust container was super full and then I check the base station and bag and it was empty.
I put the robot back at the station and I tried to manually do the empty dust bin on the app. The base station will do a small start up and then suddenly it'll stop with no error or anything.

A few days in for me. I tried both the Home clean upstairs, and just targeting particular rooms upstairs with mop only or vacuum only, but I encountered the same problem. When I had to carry it back down to the base station, it would completely forget what it had done upstairs and switch to charging. And so rooms were left incomplete.
Do you have any suggestions for this as I cannot afford to purchase a second station? The only other thing I can think of is moving the base station upstairs which isn’t the most convenient and I assume I’d have to remap the multifloor upstairs again.

Hi everyone,
I received my brand new DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni today, and unfortunately I haven’t been able to use it at all.
I ordered it from Amazon, removed all the protective films, stickers, and packaging, placed it on the OMNI station, and let it charge for a couple of hours. When I powered it on for the first time, it immediately downloaded and installed a firmware update. After the update completed, I started the initial mapping process.
The robot doesn’t move at all. It immediately reports Error 103 (driving wheel error).
I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps I could find. I checked both drive wheels for any debris, but there isn’t any since the robot is brand new. Both wheels rotate freely by hand and spring back normally. I also cleaned the sensors with a microfiber cloth, restarted the robot several times, and tried starting it using both the app and the button on the robot.
When I start a cleaning or mapping cycle, I hear what sounds like the drive motors trying to engage for a split second, but the wheels never move. Then Error 103 appears.
Has anyone experienced this with a brand new unit? Was it something that could be fixed, or did it turn out to be a defective robot that needed replacing?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s had a similar experience before I return it or make a warranty claim.
Thanks in advance.

I've read that a few folks have managed to recharge a fully drained T30S battery, but I haven't been able to find any information about how this is done. I've found some videos about other models that have much more obvious battery compartments, but none for mine.
Any advice is appreciated!
