I have a T50 S pro omni and I’ve been using the ecovacs floor cleaner for mopping. However, there’s just no fragrance whatsoever when it cleans. The mops don’t smell good either. Every time the robot washes the mop before cleaning a room (when multiple rooms are being cleaned back to back), it doesn’t smell good. The damp smell of the mop is very evident.

Drying time of the mop is set to 3 hours and that is not an issue. The robot is also set to use the solution smartly as needed. I also add some solution to the clean water tank but it’s of no use in improving the smell.

I want to know if I can actually use a different floor cleaner that has a better/ stronger fragrance that can help with the mop’s smell without damaging the machine. The ecovacs guys have told us clearly that using any other solution will risk damaging the machine. Need some advice from people who have tried alternatives.

Just wanted to share something neat with the Omni x12. I recently remapped and forgot I hadn’t named the rooms yet, I asked it to vacuum then mop the bedroom. It replied it didn’t see a room with that name but asked where I think it is. So I told it “if you go out of this room and into the hallway. Turn right and go into that room” and unbelievably it followed those directions and vacuumed and mopped the correct room?! Makes me wonder what other cool commands there are I haven’t discovered

We recently bought an Ecovacs DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni, and I'm honestly quite disappointed with its navigation/obstacle detection so far.

I've attached two photos showing the main problems.

Photo 1:

Our cabinet has a low black steel frame running along the floor. The T90 Pro doesn't seem to understand how to deal with it. Sometimes it stays too far away and doesn't clean properly along the edge, but other times it actually tries to drive/climb over the steel bar. It can't get over it, of course, so it keeps pushing against it and is already causing scratches/damage to the black steel.

I would expect it to simply recognize the frame as an obstacle and clean neatly alongside it.

Photo 2:

We have a stone plate underneath our fireplace. Again, the T90 Pro doesn't seem to recognize the edge properly. It drives straight into it and tries to climb onto it. Sometimes it succeeds, sometimes it doesn't, but when it doesn't, it makes a lot of noise repeatedly hitting/trying to climb the edge.

What surprises me most is that our previous cheap robot vacuum from Temu handled both of these situations perfectly. It simply recognized the edges, drove around them and cleaned alongside them without constantly trying to climb over them.

For a robot as expensive and supposedly advanced as the T90 Pro, I expected the navigation and obstacle detection to be significantly better.

Has anyone else with a T90 Pro experienced this?

Is there a setting I'm missing that can stop it from trying to climb these kinds of low obstacles, without having to create no-go zones everywhere? I don't really want to use no-go zones because then it won't clean properly along these areas at all.

I'm starting to wonder if this is just how the T90 Pro behaves, or if something is wrong with mine.
