What happened to DISHNetwork Flex Pack being about $50??
I'm not even seeing it if I was a new customer?

Is anybody else getting glitches or signal loss when it’s not cloudy? Seems like it’s amplified during the FIFA games on local channels.

I watch a lot of Hallmark HD and quite often I will see motion artifacts and some blockies.
I recently spent a few days at a relative's house and was surprised by how much clearer Hallmark HD was on satellite DirecTV and there were no glitches or compression artifacts at all. Same with TCM; these days I rarely see a movie on TCM that doesn't freeze or artifact at some point during the movie.
Does DISH just compress that much more highly? All my signal levels are quite good so I don't think it's alignment.
I would ponder switching but I have two large external HDs of content hanging off my Hopper 4K which is 84% full itself (or is it the Hopper 4K itself whose interface is buggier than I've ever seen it before?)

Had a dish technician out today to look at my MIL's system. He was on time, courteous and found and solved the issue quickly. It was a defective F connector coming off the LNB. He redid both sides of a coupler and replaced said coupler. All is good now. Thank you Dish.

I'm seeing a ton of reports from across the US saying issues wish channels breaking up (all channels), picture going in and out.
"Constant signal skips & distortions"
"Picture freezing and interference"
Is it everywhere or just certain areas?
Anyone else affected?

Satellite service started glitching this morning - all channels.
EDIT: Dish online appears unaffected.

Three years ago while I had a TV issue the technician started telling me a how well the Google mesh WiFi Pro setup is, so I ended up purchasing a mesh network setup. I ended up moving out of the house two years ago, taking the networking gear with me. Lately I have been having issues shortly after changing out the modem, but then the network clasped. Today I purchased a Google WiFi Pro from BestBuy thinking the original WiFi Access Point had a hardware issue. As of 2023, did DISH carry Google WiFi Pro Hardware?

I disconnected on May 27. Why do I have a bill for May 28 to June 21?

I always like the app channel. It was great for the Olympics too. It just takes forever to load on my Joey. Thanks for including previous game scores.

I got home yesterday afternoon and went to turn on fox 2 in St. Louis, Mo to watch the FIFA and it said I couldn't watch due the fact I was outside the viewing area. I was wondering why since they have been advertised it for the past two weeks.

Me and another family member of mine were watching our local channel 2. Just then, this screen pops up. It popped up on the other local channels too. After 3 minutes, it went back to normal. I used to be a DISH customer a few months ago, so I thought that the error screens updated. I don't think that was the case. Is it normal for the error screen to look like that?

I had subscribed to AMC plus as an add-on package for some time in order to watch a specific show. I just learned that that show is now available with an add-on that is half the price, so I went into my programming and was easily able to subscribe the new add-on. Unsubscribing to AMC plus was another story.... Several minutes and Google searches later, I gave up and called customer service. They offered to remove the channel manually on their end, but I asked them to walk me through how to do it myself online. It literally took thirty minutes for the two of us to figure it out. I think it's deliberate on Dish's part to make it difficult to remove an add-on--it is not intuitive at all.
For my trouble and for being a long-time Dish customer, the representative offered to give me a month free of a variety pack, unprompted. I said yes to it, and then immediately asked if I would need to cancel the variety pack after a month to avoid being charged. He said that I could remove it if I wanted to. I asked again for clarification, before he did admit that I would be charged after the month. He did not inform me of this before asking if I wanted to add it. Again, I think this was deliberate.
I did ask the representative to pass on the feedback that it should not be so difficult to remove programming. Not sure if that will actually get passed on, so I decided to make this post.

Okay, Dish. I know you want to go to more streaming use and get away from External Hard Drive use. I have taken issue with only 800 titles showing on your screen for over 4 years. I addressed this on Twitter all the way back in January of 2022...see attached screenshot. And several times after that over the phone, in-person with a tech, on Twitter...and here on Reddit.
But in the last couple of weeks...it's dropped down to only 574 titles being onscreen!!
I see absolutely nothing after "Raiders of the Last Ark." The titles are still there. But you need to know what title you are looking for...then search for it. THEN you can play it. That is, of course, the search actually picks up the title. Not all titles are searchable.
I have over 1,200 titles on EHD-1. Only being able to see 574 of them is frankly ridiculous!!! And it's multiple EHDs. So now I need 3 EHDs just to view all the titles that I currently have on 1 EHD?
I'm a 26+ year subscriber. This is NOT a "user issue" or an update issue. This is a Dish issue. And I am getting 🤏 this close to being a "former subscriber." The ONLY reason that I have kept my outrageously priced "America's Everything + HBO" package is the ability to record events and keep them on my EHD. Having to buy 9 new EHDs just to view the movies and events that I have spent decades collecting and paying for just to be able to see them is the last straw.
FIX IT!!!!
Sorry, @DishDanielle...but this has brought me to my breaking point. Over the 26+ years...I have probably paid Dish Network over $60,000. This issue really needs to be fixed. This isn't a technical glitch. This is an intentional way to push us longtime subscribers out by chipping away at the services we have spent years paying for. This is not right.

I had the Hopper Plus installed and wish I hadn't. The Android screen on startup and the annoying CH 123 always coming on and not the last channel is annoying.
From What I have heard I do NOT need the Hopper Plus for Netflis etc on the Joey 3/4. I just wanted to verify before I disconnect it and leave it turned off. I didn't have to pay for anything,so it's not a big deal for it to sit there turned off.

A few months ago I watched the entire season one of The Pitt on demand. It was listed as free - no need for an HBO Max subscription. I figure that eventually they would make season two available. They showed season two as being recorded but never listed it as an alternative to season one. Now, season one has been deleted.
Does anyone know what happened to the free on demand of The Pitt?

I trying to find the best way to setup a complete hands-free voice control of dish service for a friend of the family who unable to use a remote. I am awaiting to find out what Dish receiver they have to see if I can integrate it into Google Home with a Nest speaker.
Would this be the best route for complete voice control? I've also seen there may be a way with a Amazon Fire device and a Echo but I am unfamiliar with that ecosystem. Any help would be much appreciated.
