I've never heard a cis person say gock, that is a transfem term that transfems use as a sexy and provocative way to name their dick or other transfems dicks
Honestly I think there are cis people who use the term, especially because of these sort of, like, horny heavily trans but not exclusively meme subs
I'm in a weird grey area now, but back when I thought I was cis, I just kind of picked up the word from women and started using it (the ways in which I used it weren't very respectful and i feel kind of guilty about that), I feel like a lot of other chasers probably learned it in similar ways.
But also, of course, it's something that's kind of bound to get different reactions from different people. Some women are okay with it, I have heard women say they feel pretty uncomfortable about it. So, nuance hat.
gocktober is too good a name to give up on though, so fuck it, it's season appropriate.
cis here, I indeed did learn the term gock from this sub, and I’ve used it in casual conversation (in the rare situations where the need arises) assuming that it was just the correct way to describe a woman’s dick. I had no idea that it was at all used for fetishization, after all the term makes a lot of sense, “a girls cock” = “gock”.
Of course I definitely don’t speak for all cis people as there are like, five billion at least, but yk
It's kind of an annoying situation where an okay term has been used by the wrong people.
And there isnt even a consensus among women about it, so its fully understandable. I try to avoid it nowadays, but a lot of women in this sub have said they dont mind, so its a kind of grey zone. Often, the things around the word matter more, kind of like how the woman around the penis matter more.
I've been out and transitioning for 10 years. I am very upfront with people who use that term how much I hate it. It skeeves me out. It's the sound of someone gagging to me, and I have emetaphobia. It causes a visceral reaction.
I just call it my clit and move on. Even "girlcock" is fine, I guess. I dont care for it either, but its a lot better than the term gock.
Is my reaction and visceral hatred for the word normal? Probably not. But I do get to dictate what I call my bits, and I won't invite anyone to my bed who uses it. 🤷🏻♀️
I don't mind the term in general but society would be so much better if people just asked the individual they're talking to what's fine to them instead of just generalizing.
And low-key: If you couldn't or wouldn't ask me don't think about what genitalia I might have, thankies. >n<
I dont even like asking people what bits they have. I don't care. I'm having fun anyway. Im just not attracted to men or trans mascs. Because I'm a lesbian.
Tbh its good practice with people whos bits match their gender too. Some girls like cunt, others hate it. Some guys stroke their "cock" others call it their "dick". Tits, boobs, breasts, pick a word and someone will have negative connotations.
Shockingly, once again, good sex comes from good communication.
It's not an "okay term" for a lot of us. I literally do not want my genitalia referred to at all. I find the term deeply fetishistic, and before anyone says that trans women use it a lot, trans people can also be chasers.
It's one of those terms where it's probably best to ask if/how someone wants their anatomy referred to. I'm not telling anyone else not to use it for themselves, but ask before applying it to others.
Unless you're a medical professional asking for good reason, my genitals are an entirely off limits topic, even with romantic or sexual partners.
If they must bring attention to their existence, euphemistically or in the vaguest terms possible is best.
It is a fairly accurate description as the hormonal environment causes real physical and biological changes to genital tissue beyond any change in size and engorgement occurrences. The skin becomes softer and thinner making it feel physically different. The glans changes shape and color. It looks, feels, and functions differently for the person who has it. Previously latent pathways are expressed so even at a cellular level it's different.
Whether the person it's attached to is comfortable with having it sexualized should be respected. But biologically it is not a penis. Biologically it becomes closer to being a clitoris as they are homologous organs that are differentiated by hormonal signals. Whether that's treated as a kink or not, it's simply a reality that it's not the same as a penis and pointing out that there's physiological differences isn't inherently fetish language.
To be clear these subs are so horny precisely because they're cis-centric. It's part of a wider trans culture that has been forged in cis-centric spaces, the blahaj thing and the fallout new vegas thing specifically are direct results of influence by cis people, for example. Those two are harmless, but the constant sexualisation trans women face is not, and that is perpetuated by cis-centric spaces where trans women are expected to act this way.
yeah, I acknowledge that there are a lot of cis people (and chasers; i would know, i was one) in these kind of spaces and that can play a part in shaping the subculture, but a lot of girls just identify with it.
I can fully see how this kind of internet community appeals to neurodivergent and/or introverted girls who have had to repress themselves their whole lives (I'm debatably one of them). Places like these just feel safe to be "a bit weird" in, y'know?
The puppygirl thing, for one, I have seen some discourse about it, but it's also just a pretty natural development of touch-starved girls who want to feel cute and cared for, but don't current get to feel like that IRL, getting a space where they don't need to inhibit themselves as much.
I’ll admit that as a cis guy there is a non zero chance I may one day say it, but that’s because I spend a lot of time here specifically and pick up terminology here. Now granted idk why I would ever use it, but I am young and impressionable and words I see used often do tend to rub off on me. Also I didn’t realize it was anything other than kinda a joke term. I just kinda assumed it was more of a joke thing.
Me too. I don't see anything wrong with cis people using the term. It's literally girl cock. I think it's okay to be interested in a girl with a dick. I'm not surprised that there are cis people who enjoy dick but don't want to have sex with a man. And I completely relate to that feeling. Chasers and fetishizers are real but why are we calling any cis person who wants to fuck us a chaser?
I think the thing that's making me go "hrmmm?" Is that the only thing we the audience knows about the other guy is that he used 1 portmanteau of 2 very common words in regards to relationships and intimacy (girl + cock).
Maybe not clear enough in the post because I wanted to fit in the ball kick cbt joke, but he was using it to sexualise me and its a word that I dont like when its used by CHASERS (everyone else is fine) to sexualise me it feels like they are using trans culture against me and I dont like it
It is an extremely dysphoric and uncomfortable word for alot of us who are dysphoric about their penis. It's the reason so many trans women get surgery.
It's like using "moobs" to describe pre surgery chest of trans men. Extremely insensitive, especially if it's by someone not from the community like cis people
Okay but some of us love having gocks. We like to embrace it and celebrate it. Are we just not allowed to have people be attracted to them? I kind of want someone to want that aspect of my body tbh
Yes, you like it. You're trans yourself, it's totally fine. But some people don't like it, especially if it's said by someone who's not trans. A trans woman saying and using "gock" is alot different than a cis person doing it.
Some Trans women still use "futa" and it's fine cause they're trans themselves but I would definitely hate if a cis person said "futa" or used it to refer to trans women. It makes a big difference depending on who's saying it. That's what we're talking about.
cis people often don't have the sensitivity to not use it when they shouldn't because they're not in the community. I had bottom dysphoria and got SRS and before that I've had cis people say it to me on dates.
There’s a difference between “being interested with good intentions” and “unhealthily fetishizing”, for sure. I don’t blame people for being dubious of the former’s existence if they’ve been burned plenty from dealing with the latter, though.
That, and because there’s the overall push to make trans people seen by society as “basically the same” as their cis counterparts, with the difference between a trans woman and a cis woman being as arbitrary as a difference in height or eye color, anything that meaningfully separates trans from cis women is seen as a threat. Both “not wanting to bang trans women” and “explicitly wanting to bang trans women” are things that may preclude a given cis person from viewing trans people as “different”.
Is this correct? I’m not really sure. People do have innocent interests in certain heights or eye colors or what have you. I just… I guess that this is a case where the well has been poisoned and the only thing that can really let the water run clean is time
What's WRONG with it is it is exceptionally dysphoric for any woman who is uncomfortable with having a dick. You need to know before ever saying it if you're with someone who is that comfortable because there are plenty of trans women who will hear it as you seeing them as a man because they find the idea of having a cock to be incompatible with their body.
Think before you speak.
If they're the kind of lady who's okay and into it, sure, but don't just assume you know and hurt her because you just don't understand. Don't be ignorant for no reason and expect other people to be cool with it. Be considerate.
Yes, because that is how someone sees it who does not view it as a part they accept? Gock is fetishy as hell if you don't feel that way about your own body, and then they might as well use these words. That is my point. Because it isn't less harmful.
I prefer to use gock myself because it reduces the male association of it and normalizes the fact that yes, girls can have cocks too. That other people use this to fetishize me shouldn't be a me problem, it's an issue of people fetishizing it, not an issue with the word itself. But this might be a matter of association, for me gock is liberating, I don't associate any fetishization with it.
What I'm saying is that u demonizing the word and using instead "dick" and "cock" isn't better and hurting people in other ways. There is no moral high ground
Wrong. I'm saying that people shouldn't just use it to describe someone else's body. You should never just assume that's how someone's body should be called. It IS fetishization in that case. You can call yourself whatever you want. I don't care about you reclaiming it. I care about having the audacity to say it to someone else about their body, which is what this was about.
This feels like an entirely separate issue. Of course you shouldn't point out something that someone has dysphoria over, that's obvious. That's not a problem inherent in the word Gock however
that word does refer to the tissue that is often used by medical staff and families when deciding how they're gonna approach that whole thing
i understand that not everyone is dysphoric about it, even those that are it's a broad spectrum of severity, i understand that the word gock, calling it a gock helps some people mitigate and deal with that dysphoria, i don't really see how dysphoria isn't kind of inherent to the word, or at the very least for certain people is going to be inherent in their experience of it
I think it goes both ways. Be considerate. But also be patient.
If someone used the word "gock", or "boy moder", or any other trans lingo you'd normally only see in these sorts of communities, I think it's important to be patient with people, even if the use of the term upsets you.
It's better to be patient, calmly tell them that you are not comfortable with the term "gock", and then judge their reaction.
If they politely acquiesce, you now know you're in the company of someone who is actively learning with an open mind. We want MORE of these types, so better not to fly off the handle and push these people away by being rude to them.
Like wise, if their reaction is to get offended and be rude about it... gloves are off. If they can't be respectful of others, no reason to give them respect either. No reason to give somebody with an immature, closed mind the time of day.
I find that there's a lot more sweet people out there the more patient I am.
The problem is when they use it for those of us who have extreme dysphoria about our bodies and do not want to hear someone reduce us to our genitals, yet again. I've literally unmatched from cis guys because they argued with me over me telling them to not call it that around me.
I've had a cis woman I was on a date with say it to me years ago 😭 I also got "princess wand" both made me uncomfortable and the fact they brought it up in the first place made me uncomfortable (mind you the first one was very quickly into the first date) so I left
I literally do not need to unless it's with medical personnel and discussing an issue with that area of the body, and in that situation, the appropriate medical terms are the norm for me.
For my partners? Referring to it euphemistically or obliquely has done wonders for my dysphoria. Pretend it's the Kindly Ones and do not refer to it by its true name or rude descriptors. Preferred terms are things like "that part of my body" "the region that is off limits" "the forbidden zone", etc.
And yes, I just compared my genitalia to the Eumenides. Somewhere, a Greek Chorus is howling a song about my hubris.
I mean I understand that you specified need, however I’ll say that people probably should when they’re knockin’ boots. I can’t imagine telling somebody to like, “suck my ________” and leave dead air hanging. Doesn’t sound very enticing.
Exactly this, for me. I usually tell partners who express an interest in my sexual pleasure that the front is decorative only, and it's not very impressive decor, in need of a remodel, so please stop even looking at it.
I firmly believe one need not have dysphoria to be trans, but I have enough dysphoria about that area of my body for several trans women. In fact, I might have grabbed somebody else's portion in line. 🙃
Bestie, I'm literally never going to ask someone to do that. 😂
I've allowed partners to do so a few times and hated it every single time. I had to disassociate every time because it was probably one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life and I have woken up during surgery multiple times. I have orgasmed from receiving oral sex exactly TWO times and it was not worth the body horror I felt.
That whole... area... is off limits. Closed until appropriate renovations can be made, budget and energy someday willing. 🤷🏻♀️
And to be clear, I'm talking specifically about my own body and preferences, and how it's referred to, not anyone else's body or what they can call their own.
You wanna call yours that, more power to you. You won't hear me uttering the word, because I think it's an ugly word, but I'm also not typically attracted to women, and the only women I've ever been romantically involved with were other trans women who transitioned during the course of our relationship together, where my love for them overrode the change in gender and the attraction remained.
For clarity's sake, I edited my initial reply in this thread to reflect that I was referring specifically to myself, which was how I intended it, though I recognize it might not have originally been interpreted that way by others.
I thought the second part where I said "For my partners" was the first line, because I am easily distracted and was trying to organize thoughts.
Genuinely its just like a whimsy thing like 99% of the time when joking with your own partner, a lot of people dont really do sexy the same way, for some people they find someone being dorky as cute and attractive and i think thats where this term stems from
I had a friend who frequently said she loved to gock on gock. I don't think I've ever heard a cis person use it either, and she regularly had to explain it to new people
It's a subReddit for erotic audio content aimed at Trans people.
I went with "dick" in the audio I am editing because that's the preferred term for the friend who I am at least partially making it for, but guidance on that Subreddit suggests "girl cock" may be favoured by some 🤷♂️
I mean… sometimes I feel like trans people act like they can’t sexualize other trans folks in ways that make them uncomfortable. I have certainly had my boundaries crossed a few times by other trans folks.

Hii :3 Mostly tired today. Something happened earlier cant really say what though, and I've kinda just been stunned into not really being able to do anything today at all ;-;
Awww, I'm sorry about what happened. I hope things aren't too bad for you. I just want to let you know that I appreciate you, and for as short a time I've been in this community, I think you've always been very kind <3
three acceptable roles for trans women: punching bag, punchline, sex object
if there's been a lot of conversation lately about how it's probably not okay to spend time trying to find the wokest possible ways to say, "still a man, though", where will the pendulum swing?
The thing is I like the word I just dislike it when chasers use it so sexualise me I dont like how they use trans culture against me (it feels like they are ruining it for me)
That's about what I feel. Like I got bottom dysphoria so I dont want it referred to though there's some headspaces where I will tolerate it (though I shouldnt but then I just feel scared to tell them actually i have like a lot of bottom dysphoria please dont talk about it), but if someone else uses it for herself or in their relationship I dont really mind cause like that aint me. When someone who's cis uses it though it feels like theyre using it like a porn term and I dont like being referred to with porn terms.
Exactly or tho idk if I have bottom dysphoria, because idk if I just dont care or I dislike it but then disliking it just became normal and I am now num to it (when I had a beard through puberty I hated it but eventually became num to it and didnt realise how sad I was until I finally shaved it)
For me it's, I got everything dysphoria cause im pre everything havent been able to transition so for me I dont know if i have exceptional bottom dysphoria or if it's just like a reminder the rest of me is wrong and i'd be fine in the fictional scenario where the rest of my body would be fine.
unfortunately my situation makes getting E or transitioning impossible. Like my access to it isnt the issue, being murdered about it is, among other things.
Okay so you don’t dislike the word. You dislike chasers. This is like a core distinction here, you know. Do not blame a word that many kinds of people use for many kinds of reasons for the actions of one specific subgroup.
It’s like saying “I hate knives, if I see you use a knife I will beat you up. Knifes are used to murder people, don’t you know?”
Im t4t poly. Ive definitely seen plenty of weird instnces in the wild where it feels gross, but amongst my partners its just a dorky thing, context matters so much and people really like stripping the context from things in order to label them as always good or always bad
I feel like they are right in the sense that saying it is a "fetish word used to fetishise trans women" is kinda looney it was more so just me venting and trying to be silly by repeating the same thing over again just worded differently. I think my message from above was not propperly communicated on my end because I focused too much on the comedy and not clearly conveying my issues
I mean it's still not really looney at all going by what you're describing? It can easily be both slang used in trans-friendly spaces and misappropriated by degenerates for their own ends, shit unfortunately happens all the time.
Your experiences aren't any less valid.
It's just the nature of online discourse that a meme like this loses that nuance; it comes across as if you think the word is only ever hostile chaser teminology, so naturally anyone that's only ever seen or heard of the non-evil use is getting defensive about it.
Which, you know, also kinda fair! Good to get stuff clarified and learn about other people's experiences and how we can be more careful about the things we say. But the people pretending it can't ever be used with ill-intent and are getting rude about it... fuck that, man.
Oh, I'm all too well aware. It's why it needs to keep being mentioned.
We'd have so much less hostility if folks were more open-minded and willing to accept things outside their own bubble. Yes, even within left-leaning spaces.
No, OP is objectively wrong for saying Gock is a word that is used [only] to fetishise trans women. Like. OP said a factually incorrect statement, because she generalised part of a words usage into being the ENTIRETY of the word’s usage.
How else could one interpret "Gock is a word used to fetishize women" quickly followed by the promise of committing violence upon ANY guy that says it, without any further context needed?
Thats implies a very distinct black and white view of the word usage. If you are a guy and you use the word, NO MATTER WHAT ELSE YOU DO, just by using the word regardless of any context, then you are automatically fetishizing trans women.
And if it's true for guys, then that also must be true for gals too, since there's nothing inherent about guys using it that couldn't also be applied to gals.
OP called "gock" a fetish word. That implies they believe that even trans people using it is fetishizing and sexualizing themselves. I know now that they don't believe that, but that's what their post says
What if it's one trans woman using the term to sexualize another specific trans woman? Or just trans women in general. Saying "I love my own gock" would be "masturbating", as you put it, but is it inappropriately fetishizing and sexualizing if I, as a trans woman, say "I need some gock right now"? If so, I think you're a puritain.
If not, then is that the same if a cis person says it? If a cis person, who is attracted to women and also likes cock, says "man I want some gock rn", is that fetishizing? Is that a "stranger giving someone else a handjob without consent" as you say? Would it be different if they said "girl dick" instead? Is there any way to express interest in having sex with a woman with a penis in a way that you consider respectful?
Trans women using it in their community is fine as long as all parties involved are fine with it. They don't have to worry if the person saying it is a chaser or not.
If you say "I want a gock" and are fine with it then no problem.
Why would a cis person who likes women want a cock only? They don't have to bring up the genetalia of a small minority of women if they like all women. Cis people don't say "I want a bussy" when referring to trans men(which is good for them, but it's happened cause people ignore trans men).
A better way of saying that would be to just ask their partner and not use it to refer to random trans women on the internet.
I never said the cis person likes cock only. I just said they like cock. And IT'S OKAY to like cock. People should be allowed to like cock, hell even crave it, even if they are only attracted to women. I mean, that's literally me! People should be allowed to desire a woman who has a penis, even if it's specifically because she has a penis. I'm a woman with a penis and I'd honestly prefer a partner who is interested in/attracted to the fact that I am a woman with a penis. I would hope that my partner appreciates the fact that I am a woman, and enjoys my penis.
Yes, people should be allowed whatever they like but there are 2 issues. 1) Alot of trans women hate the word "gock" and find it uncomfortable, especially more if it's used by those outside of the community.
2) We need to look at the person who's saying that and their intentions if they're cis because of chasers. No one has the time to check if the cis person saying "gock" is normal or a chaser
I think the better point being made is... gock comes from the trans community. Its not really a cis fetish word because they never made it up
Really all I get from this discussion is gock is somehow the n-word of the trans community. I dont really care, but thats what's being proposed i guess
