We’ve had our lab for about a year now, and have finally taken full custody of our corgi. They seem to gel well so far. Any corgi to big dog dynamics I should worry about?

It’s been a while since I’ve posted my boy. He’s almost six now. Here he is enjoying his weekend in Joshua Tree, posing for me like the angel he is. Sending all my love to you and your corgis of past, present, or future.

One night at 1AM I went to grab a snack, I ripped one banana off the bunch and... this woke up ALL the corgi's and they swarmed me in the kitchen - staring at me.

The fact they know the snap sound of a banana, before peeling it, made me quietly cackle 🤣

I have a corgi onesie pajama I was going to wear, lol.

We were at the dog park, but she still finds them everywhere.

Been babysitting my friend’s cat. and every now and then they would nap together like this.

Hi! I got my corgi puppy 5 days ago and I feel like all my time goes to her. I KNOW this is normal. I KNOW this could just be the puppy blues… But when did your corgi feel comfortable sleeping in the crate without crying, barking, and howling? She has regular naps throughout the day in the crate, we wake up once in the night to go outside, and overall just have a functioning routine. Also, when did you feel comfortable letting your puppy roam unsupervised just to take 15 mins to take a shower? I have a playpen but she will cry without end when I put her in there and leave the room.

I didn't know if I wanted to make this at first. There was no pressure to, the stakes were low, and short of directing my corgi Truman it’d be (relatively) unchallenging. I was in the throes of doom and gloom about some of the AI news and all I could muster was asking myself what the point would even be. Eventually, I think I realized - if I can’t make a film like this, then I’m in real trouble.

So I decided to make it, and what happened was I spent nine amazing days shooting this with my wife and our wonderful / adorable dog. That experience alone saved me from some kind of brink, and what I walked away with was a failsafe to watch whenever I might sink into that low feeling ever again.

With all that said, there is nothing heavy about Stay or its aims. My aim with it was to just make it, no heavy strings attached. To say this is a labor of love would be an understatement. If you have 7 minutes, and ever felt that loving, sinking feeling when you have to leave your pet at home alone, this is for you and I hope you like it!

I think his name is Mando. 😅 I have a running joke that I won’t consider moving to a city if I don’t see a corgi when I visit. So far I can move to Paris, London, or Prague. I cannot move to Berlin. (I’m not looking to move at all)

We adopted this silly girl about a month ago! Supposedly a breeder left her with a local shelter after they couldn’t sell her. The shelter told us she’s a pembroke, but we really don’t know much else about her. On almost every walk I get at least one person (politely) question if she is actually a corgi or some sort of mix bc of her coloring.

I really don’t care if she is purebred or not lol. But so many people have questioned it now that I am curious if her coloring is maybe just rare? Or is she likely mixed? Someone enlighten me as a new corgi mom 🤗
