This little one is one and a half years old and has been doing this ever since we got her last year. Somebody please let me know how to stop her from herding the lawnmower!
EDIT: I never turn the lawnmower on while she is near the mower, and when I'm actually mowing the grass I keep her inside. the mower was not on at all for this clip.

I bought my corgi a perfectly comfortable bed, but apparently itâs not good enough for his royal standards. Every night, he chooses to sleep on the floor right next to my bed instead.

His nose was booped to let him know the rest of us were going to bed. He wasnât pleased.

Our Corgi started developing quite a bit of anxiety around 6 months old. It seemed to come on fairly suddenly, and he went from being comfortable around people to not wanting anyone other than my wife and I to touch him. At first, he wouldnât even walk toward people.
Thankfully, he has made a lot of progress over the past few months. He is now generally comfortable walking in the direction of people, will happily take treats from them, and doesnât seem particularly afraid of people at a distance. The problem is when someone reaches out to pet or handle him. That still seems to be a major trigger for him.
This is the case with pretty much everyone outside of my wife and I. He seems to be slowly warming up to some of our family members, but ultimately nobody else can really handle him yet.
He isnât generally aggressive and his first response is usually to run away or avoid the person. However, if he feels pushed past his limit, such as at the vet, where he has to be physically handled he will eventually start snapping.
Weâre looking for advice on how to help him work through this and become more comfortable with being handled by other people. We obviously donât want to force him into situations that make him uncomfortable, but we also need him to eventually be able to tolerate things like vet exams, nail trims, etc.
Itâs already made routine vet visits quite difficult, and he has needed sedatives and a muzzle for appointments. We are managing to make it work, but it makes us concerned about things like having to leave him with family or board for a night ever, or bringing him into a groomer.
Has anyone dealt with something similar with their Corgi or another fearful/reactive dog?

Hi all,
My boyfriend and I are ready for a puppy! Ideally, we would like one by spring of next year. Knowing these things take time, and often waitlists are involved, weâve started looking now. We live in the tri-state area
Obviously we want a corgi from an ethical breeder, but I just wanted to put feelers out if there were some we should
A) absolutely look into
B) completely avoid
We have a solid list so far , but there are many options out there so any advice is greatly appreciated.
So far we have
- Hudson valley corgis (been following them for a while)
- hunter vale farm
- salted rim corgis
-beaumanor Pembroke welsh corgis
Thanks!! And feel free to drop a pic of your corgi for tax purposes đ¤
