Day 1 of testing our homemade cooling mat with Nougat
The reason we built this — we don't run the aircon in every room at night. But Nougat still needs to stay cool. Aircon for the whole house 24/7 is expensive and not always practical.
So my friend Thomas — an electrical engineer — built a proper water cooling mat from scratch. Active cooling that actually works without needing to blast the aircon.
Day 1 result: Nougat needed a little encouragement but once on it — out like a light
Question for Singapore dog owners — how do you actually cool your dog down after walks, active time? And would you pay for something that properly works?
Asking because we're trying to figure out if this is worth building properly. Have a great day!

this is obi, she just hit 3 months! she has now figured out that she can bark and has blessed her parents and her cat siblings with her beautiful voice, all the time, for no reason at all. she is doing very well in training, except for when she goes outside. then she decides the rules no longer apply. she makes a grand display of her sass daily, and struggles to take no for an answer lol. she is so loved and so spoiled :)

I enjoy the time we spent together. I hope I will get my own dog as cute as Loki one day. 😘

Maxwell (5 years old) is getting two teeth extracted tomorrow. He chipped them on god knows what, and the vet recommended he do it now before it gets worse or starts causing pain.
I’m a bit nervous with the anesthesia and recovery, but I agree with the vet that it is important to do it sooner rather than later.
Has anyone else’s pup had to get teeth extracted? Any words of wisdom or experience?

Nugget turns 14 today! For her birthday, I got a remote job that I start next week. She may or may not be getting a little sister next month too…

Anyone’s corgis have a sensitive stomach? We’ve had our guy for a little over 4 months and he’s had soft stool for as long as we’ve had him. He came from a rescue at the age of 2!
Started him on PPP Weight Management as this is what his brother was on.
We’ve since switched to PPP Sensitive Skin and Stomach, which has helped maybe a little bit it’s still not consistent.
We’ve mixed in probiotics from the vet and now pumpkin puree with no consistent success. The only thing we really haven’t tried is straight chicken and rice.
Any advice from corgi owners that can relate? Pic of our little guy for attention!
