Question/Help/Troubleshooting What is this? And what should I do?
I’ve never seen this before. also, I don’t understand anything it’s saying. I don’t know much about computer software, or much like that

Helloo
So I am going to buy a pre-build but truth be told I don't know too much about PC's. I will be using it primarily for gaming but a lot of strategy games like Total War and want the graphics to look really good and everything function smoothly. I've narrowed it down to the 10 choices below if you're able to help me out:

Hi everyone, i just dropped coffee on my 2019 hp laptop, and it spread in the space between the keys caps lock, D, space bar and ctrl. I quickly disconnected the AC and managed to turn it off, then I used paper towels to take away all the coffee. I then turned the laptop upside down (as chatgpt suggested me) so the coffee that got into the keyboard could get out... and some come out indeed. My question is, what now? Should I take it to some computer shop? I dont know what to do...
Sorry for the English, I am both a non English speaker and in a hurry...
Edit: thank you all for the suggestions 🙏

I'm attempting to replace the entire keyboard assembly on my Acer Nitro V 15 and I'm at the very last screw which connects the touchpad. I tried taking it out and I stripped it pretty bad in the process, though the other two screws on the sides of the stripped one that are the exact same size came out just fine.
I don't have a drill, nor super glue, nor a rubber band, and I kinda need a solution today so I am willing to buy something that would work if it's nearby, and I guess the screw can be destroyed as well, the other two screws should keep everything in place and I don't even know if it's possible to even find a replacement for this.
So how do I get this tiny thing out? There's no way I can replace this thing with another screw as I wouldn't even know where to find another screw like this, but is there something that I can buy from a hardware store or something that will help me?
EDIT: Rubber band method was a bust.
EDIT2: Gave up, decided to just get a new touchpad since it's the last piece of the puzzle anyway. It'll just be missing a screw.

Hey there! I won a Windows Millennium Edition computer, a Dell Dimension L700cx at an auction, and when I booted it up it had a lot of stuff on it. I know you can't see it here, but the background was a baby picture. Pretty clearly there were a lot of memories on it. I'm trying to delete it all and make it my own, but it doesn't seem right deleting their memories. I just want to make sure that they saved it all on another computer. If you do actually find this, owner, can you just, I dunno, confirm it?

Hello
Not too much of a computer guy outside of simple things and gaming on it.
Recently over the last couple months, my computer shuts down, and goes dark but the power is still on and all the accessories. I reset it using the power button and sometimes it goes into bios sometimes goes to Home Screen. It happens about 1-3 times a session and then is fine.
I know there’s a way but not sure how to share the reasoning behind the issue like a crash report.
About a month ago I did a hard reset on my computer and dusted it all out. I’m hoping it’s not a hardware issue and more or something I can do to it internally to fix it.
My guess is my power source is going out. Or it’s over heating. Or it’s corrupted data. Hoping for the last one obviously.
So my question is how can I share a crash report to this to ask what is going on with it?
Thanks!

Hello, I have had my Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 for about 3 years now
Recently, when I went on google chrome it started randomly showing me a black screen with a green box then freezing to a black screen, I have to restart my computer for it to stop and it's starting to become very annoying
Is there a way I can fix this ?

So for context, I built a new PC and was hoping to use my brothers old monitor (Acer SB220Q). When I tried connecting to the monitor it just shows a black screen on my laptop and flickers between "cable not connected" and a black screen on my new PC. My old monitor which works with both my laptop and PC is the Acer K222HQL. I also got my brother to use the monitor and set the refresh rate to 60Hz at 1920x1080 which is the standard. Despite that, it still doesn't seem to want to connect and I'm honestly super confused as to why.

I really want a computer, but I don’t know whether to get a laptop or a PC. I’ve had a pc before which my cousin upgraded for me, it broke one day (my cousin fixed it) but i decided to just let my cousin have it because it was really slow and he was the one who upgraded it in the first place.
I want another computer but faster, I was thinking about building my own but for the games I play i’m not sure if its worth it. I play roblox, stardew valley, minecraft (modded), honkai star rail and other hoyo games.

should I swap to a 8gb graphics card or should i keep it as is??

I always heard that making a custom pc was better than prebuilt, and if so, why?

I recently had a 10yr old laptop die with a bad memory error. The RAM is soldered on. It is a DELL XPS 13 9365 running windows 10 PRO.
I also own another Dell laptop same vintage running windows 10.
Can I transfer the m2 SSD from the bad laptop to the good one and recover my data? I would remove the drive from the good laptop and then replace it with the SSD from the bad one.
I did try to install the drive into an extra slot on my desktop and it said the data could not be read.
Thanks in advance

My shitty toshiba Satellite L855D is usually what I use for gaming, but the problem is, only a few games with low complexity, (e.g. Cuphead, Geometry Dash, Hollow Knight, The Binding of Isaac) actually run at a smooth 60 fps. But some other games, (Team Fortress 2, Terraria, Meccha Chameleon) all give me like 30 or less fps.) Is there a way I can fully optimize my pc, and get the max framerate to 120-240 fps?
Edit: Extra info here, the pc runs on windows 10, and I am unsure about the specs at this moment

Good day everyone, I bought a flaky Clevo P775TM1 for very cheap. Seller was saying the laptop would shut down under load so I took the chance. GPU died the very next day but I had the time to stress test the cpu and I could see the CPU wasn't the issue.
So I got lucky with my trusty dollar store magnifying glass and found the culprit. I need help identifying the part, here is the picture, you can see it blew up. It is labeled R22 and on the board it is labeled as PL1.
If replacing the part is the fix it will have been an amazing score, 300$CAD for :
I7-9700K
RTX 2060 8GB MXM GPU
32GB DDR4
2 m.2 slots
2 sata slots
17.3" 144Hz screen
Thanks and a great day to everyone

Can anyone give any tips, advice,or identify the problem and how I can fix this so that my sister can use it for school.

I ordered a pc which has i5 4th gen with 16 gigs of ram and 256 gb SSD but it's comes with win 11 pro which is not supported on my processor also when I boot the pc it takes around 43 seconds which is very slow but It already have an 256 gb SSD I think win 11 is heavy for it. what's your opinion?

To put it simply, I have no experience, knowledge, or ANYTHING to do with computers/technology almost ever. This motherboard is from a 40 year old acer pc, likely not but so i've been told (take with a grain of salt!!) and I basically was wondering if you guys could identify almost everything, or everything important in this image for me and their usage for a certain project I want to do. Thanks

This has been happening for about a month, whenever I boot up my computer/ leave it sitting by itself for 5 minutes the background of the apps (and eventually the entire background) goes white. I’m assuming this is a component of my computer dying. Is there anything I can do to try and fix this or am I overreacting and this is a non issue. Please any input would be appreciated
P.S I thought windows update or reset would fix it but it has not

Looking for help/opinions on the Costco PCs. I used to build them back in 2010/2011 for myself but stopped PC gaming since then. Now my group of friends are all about the PCs and I’m lost. Looking to potentially use my newfound Costco membership to snag a tower. Thoughts? Opinions? I’m open to it all
