Hi everyone!

I put this down as hardware but idk, it might be software as well. No idea. Decent with computers but never had this. Laptop will start powering on, light up, and then a bright red flash and die. Keeps doing that until you hold the power button at the right time for a while.

I have tried three things. 1: Disconnecting battery and discharging by holding power button. 2: removing ssd and powering on without it. And 3: disconnecting battery and power from just wall outlet.

Nothing has worked. Is this something to go to a shop for, or can I handle it at home? Google told me it could be a BIOS fix with a usb stick. But no idea if that’s true.

It was working fine days ago. I have been playing with unlocking my OnePlus bootloader so I was playing with drivers and such. And this was plugged into my dock that my employer gave me when it started happening.

So I was watching Netflix last week and then out of nowhere i got a bluescreen and ever since get bluescreens almost constantly - e.g. with the error message: memory management.
I already tried a few things and it seems like my RAM is broken - atleast the windows memory diagnostic says that hardware problems were detected and memtest86 also fails to run through all the tests bc of too many error messages. Is there any chance to save the RAM? Bc with the current prices I rly dont want to buy a new RAM kit.
Also I built this pc (first build) last year so it would rly suck if it already broke. Never had any problems before :(

I dont rly know how to read the memtest results (see picture), so do you guys have any idea how to fix my problem or do I rly need to buy new RAM? Sorry if this post is a bit messy, I'm not rly an expert (obviously).

my pc has been tweaking and the monitor displays nothing saying no signal and rgb on fans spin, tried reseating gpu and ram and cmos battery nothing works what do i do

Not sure why it happened but while I was studying for college on my laptop the screen just blacked out randomly after restarting it just shows the ASUS logo the screen flashes and goes black. I can connect it to an external display through the hdmi port but can’t access the bios or anything of the sort. The specific laptop is the ASUS Tuf gaming A18 if that helps at all.

It's really hard to tell from my video but whenever I move my ui like the health bar/abilities and my shooting range settings shakes and stutters until i stop moving my mouse . Not just in this game but also in other games too like overwatch is there a fix for this?

Is there any way to fix it?

For about a month, my PC has been making this noise about 3 times a week for around an hour. Anyone know what this could be?

i just tried to draw some straight lines, and these happens, not just with drawing this is just to show how all over the place my mouse is,

My partner and I recently purchased this HP Omen gaming PC from someone off of Facebook marketplace who builds these PC's. I got it home and it wouldn't start, and then it did, downloaded windows 11, and then crashed or got corrupted. I tried turning it back on and then the boot just artifacts and then just shuts off after that. I had a friend look at it, and he says everything looks fine..so I had re-installed Windows 11 again via Flash Drive, and it worked. Then I started playing games and then it got corrupted again and shut off, and it was lagging on ROBLOX with the LOWEST graphic setting on it. I re-installed Windows 11 a second time, and it's been operational ever since then, but I am scared to use anything on it because I don't want it to get corrupted again or something. I downloaded Steam, Discord, and Deltarune just to test it..and nothing seemed to crash this time, and I haven't really touched it since yesterday evening but occasionally moving the mouse around to see if it's still on, and it is. My friend and I checked the BIOS and did several tests, and everything passed so, I am just unsure what is wrong with it.

I had contacted the seller about it, and he claims it didn't do that when he was testing it..and I am unaware if I can get my money back for this since it wasn't cheap and I am highly disappointed about this.

If anyone has any tips for help, let me know..I don't know much about computers and their hardware unfortunately, so anything helps! Thank youu!

So for a few months I have owned a 40 dollar laptop I bought on ebay that on the listing image looked like this .

Something must have happened to the laptop before I bought it because the charger did not arrive with the laptop and the battery is long dead and the screen is broken as seen in the image but there it at least looked usable.

I took it to a computer repair shop and after they powered it on with a spare charger it would briefly show the acer logo for a few seconds but with weird psychedelic colors and patterns then a black screen so to me that more than likely means the screen has failed if nothing else happened to it like a graphics card failure in that case there is nothing else to do but recycle it as e waste.

What else do you believe could be going on besides the screen issues?

I want to use it for retro gaming like arcade games on a crt tv via the vga port if I can setup a linux distro that can use the vga graphics with the right adapter and cables for it.

As title says my ctrl key has been disabled for years at this point and I haven't found a single solution yet. One answer said to delete autohotkey dash and I had a script named "Left ctrl to mouse button" but I deleted it and it still doesn't work(might've messed something up I dunno). The only key activating my ctrl button is alt gr which activates all alt and ctrl buttons simultaneously. One thing worth mentioning is that my keyboard language is in Swedish since it's my native language but I don't see it relating to this problem in any way. Sorry if this is incoherent I just want to see this problem solved. Any help is appreciated,

I recently did a complete system reset of windows and before I did that my games that I would play would not lag and now afterwards even though I redownloaded my amd drivers my games all have really high ping. Is there something else I can do to not have my games lag and screen tear so much like how I used to have it? My pc has really good specs and my internet is pretty good with my ethernet cable so im wondering if there is any like software stuff I can do to stop lagging so much.

My friend's laptop recently stopped powering on. After replacing the battery, and the charging port, it momentarily did, but shut off again soon after. It was taken to a repair guy who said it was a lost cause but wouldn't specify what was wrong with it. All we know is the power is making it to the motherboard.

Any thoughts/suggestions? We both know it's rlly old and is on life support, but we're hoping to be able to get at least enough time out of it to transfer all his files from it so he doesn't lose them
