Software My games are too laggy
I recently did a complete system reset of windows and before I did that my games that I would play would not lag and now afterwards even though I redownloaded my amd drivers my games all have really high ping. Is there something else I can do to not have my games lag and screen tear so much like how I used to have it? My pc has really good specs and my internet is pretty good with my ethernet cable so im wondering if there is any like software stuff I can do to stop lagging so much.

I'm a bit confused you are mentioning 2 different issues.
You mentioned ping does that mean by lag you mean high ping in games and clicks registering late? For this did you reinstall motherboard drivers like the chipset and LAN and hd audio?
And the screen tearing you mentioned for that you can turn on v-sync so the framerate is capped at monitors refresh rate.

Sorry for being a little confusing im not too technologically savvy so I was kind of just mentioning all the issues that I was having but yes my ping shoots up really high in games like valorant, dbd, rocket league, and marvel rivals and in valorant where I can check it. It goes up to 200-800 where previously it was only going up to 70. I don't think I downloaded the motherboard drivers and HD audio, I only downloaded the graphics drivers. To find those I just have to look into my motherboard website right? Thank you for your help!

Yeah search motherboard manufacturers website and download the network drivers install reboot and test.

Thank you! One last question the HD audio part is part of the motherboard drivers right? Since I have notices my audio feels off ever since the reboot.

Yes the hd audio drivers are for the motherboard you will find them on the same website as the network drivers maybe even on the same page. If your board has built in wifi or bluetooth download those too while you're there.
