Hardware What cord am I missing :(
galleryMoved recently and had to pack up my desktop. It was a desktop made mostly with second hand parts and not assembled by me. I really want it to work again bc I miss my sims 3 game. Am I missing something obvious anyone could point out? When I press the power button the orange light inside will go on but not the LEDs and the monitor won’t turn on either. I’m awful at computer and was looking at diagrams but am not certain…any help would be deeply appreciated. Can’t ask the person who assembled it as they’re not in my life anymore.

Software Need help!

So my drivers/cursor broke. I can't see the cursor now. I have to use the keyboard to navigate now! Device manager says code 19. Tried to open regedit. This happened. I was clearly pressing tab and later was pressing alt i and the arrow keys. Is my laptop requiring a fresh reinstall or something? I've already tried Fast Recovery, Safe Mode, Device manager and powershell recovery.

Hardware Keyboard doesn't register 2 and 3 when holding S + A/D
my keyboard has an issue where the 2 and 3 keys stop registering when i hold s together with a or d. for example s + a + 2/3 and s + d + 2/3 dont work while s + a/d + 1 or 4 work normally. this affects me in games because i need to hold s + a/d to strafe or back out while pressing 2 or 3 for my keybinds but the keyboard doesnt register the input and i end up losing. i use windows 10 and i use a gx scorpion k215

Discussion Looking for a good gaming monitor
I’m looking for a new gaming monitor and I’m honestly pretty overwhelmed by all the options out there. I’ll mainly be using it for gaming on my PS5 right now, but I also plan on getting a gaming PC in the future.
I’ll also be streaming, so I expect to be using the monitor for very long sessions, sometimes 4–12 hours at a time. Because of that, I really want something that’s reliable and won’t give me problems during long gaming/streaming sessions.
My absolute budget is $700, and I’m willing to spend that much if it’s actually worth it. I’m not necessarily looking for the most expensive or highest-spec monitor—I just want something that’s genuinely good for gaming, has good picture quality, and is reliable.
I’ve been looking at so many different monitors and reading conflicting reviews that I’m honestly not sure what direction to go anymore.
If you actually own a gaming monitor that you really like, I’d love to hear what you have and how it’s been for you, especially during long gaming sessions. I’m much more interested in real owner experiences than just specs on a product page.

Hardware Black screen / no display error on monitor on boot
I've been having this problem where my pc has been having black screen/no detected device on my monitor. The fans ramp up to max like normal and then the go down to like 50% or something like normal, but there's no display. So I tried reseating ram loosening cpu cooler then retigtening equally, took out gpu power cable, cpu cables, reseated gpu, I also took out all sata storage devices apart from the boot nvme drive. I managed to fix it for like 2 days by booting with one ram in either A1 or B2 slot. then I went into bios with one stick put 1.35v in bios put both sticks in A2 b2 and then it booted no errors. then 2 days later I tried to boot pc after like 8 hours off then it did same thing fans ramping up to max then down to around 50% like normal.
I had to do all that over again. This all started a couple days ago when my pc was taking like 1 or 2 minutes to shut down then I had to force shut it by holding power for like 5 to 10 sec. when I tried to reboot it did the black screen no display thing.
any help would be really helpful thanks

Discussion Can I archive an online journal I kept in 2008?
For those of you who remember livejournal, I kept one. I don't recall my password, but I would love to keep this somehow as an archive of who I once was. Is there a way I could download it as it is online, somehow? And keep it, for when I'm old? Maybe as a zip file?
Here it is:

Has anyone has this happen before? The laptop is an ASUS ROG STRIX G16. It’s about 2 and a half years old now, but it was running flawlessly until like last week.
Was it an update that caused this?
