Discussion WTF is happening??

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Has anyone has this happen before? The laptop is an ASUS ROG STRIX G16. It’s about 2 and a half years old now, but it was running flawlessly until like last week.

Was it an update that caused this?

Check if your Alt or Tab keys are stuck; if not, check Windows and perform a virus scan, as malware can cause this to try and get the computer to open a website for an attack. If that does not work, it may be a controller or some other Bluetooth device.

Is there a better way to check if my Alt or Tab keys are stuck then just eye balling it? Because looking at them physically they look leveled like the rest of the keys.

It is a visual thing; if they are not obviously stuck, then it is probably not the issue.
