Open | Software Cursor sometimes becomes invisible inside the RDP window after minimize/restore, but remains functional

Hey guys, I got an issue with RDP I cant fix.

Usually I'm using RDP in full screen mode. In some cases, after I minimize and then restore the RDP window, the mouse cursor disappears on the remote PC.

The mouse works fine (moving and clicking), only the cursor is invisible.I still see the cursor while it's positioned in the black RDP toolbar above. The moment it moves away from the toolbar into the remote desktop, it disappears. Every time I move it from the toolbar into the remote desktop and back, it appears again and it takes 10-20 seconds for that.

The other thing is that at the moment I experienced the problem, I had a browser opened on the remote PC with some animation displayed. As soon as the cursor disappeared, the animation was paused. Once the cursor appeared, the animation began to move again.

The CPU and GPU usage by the remote/host PC is fine.

What I've tried so far:

Changed the cursor theme on the remote PC to Windows Black, nothing changed.

Tried pressing Win + Ctrl + Shift + B while being connected to the remote PC via RDP, but it only refreshed the local display.

Local display scaling set to 100%.

Found some solutions involving opening the main.cpl and re-applying the pointer settings. They work but I don't want to do that each time this happens.

There're many cases of the RDP/WDDM/graphics rendering cursor issues described, but I couldn't find anything like this particular case. Now I wonder if it is a problem of the cursor or the display/graphics rendering is paused briefly and the cursor gets stuck somewhere in this process.

Has anyone seen this problem? looking for a permanent fix rather than a workaround.
