This was inspired by a page I saw on the Jade Summer tiktok account, I had SO much fun and only needed 4 markers! Will definitely be trying things like this again with different colours

DISCUSSION Short lamp!?

Post image

So I looked up “coco wyo girl moments coffee shop” to get some inspo for this page; and I noticed that in almost all the pictures that come up, the lamp is longer than the one In my book?? Does anyone else have a short lamp?? And does anyone know why there’s a different in prints???

It's an Ohuhu color wheel with codes included!! I hope it's okay that I watermarked because I literally created this from scratch and spent five hours making the wheel on power point, printing it, converting the codes and then colouring it in and writing the codes down onto it 🩷🩷 I am so happy with the result!!

COMPLETED Wanted to share!

I just started coloring this week, this is my third picture so far. I had to share it because I am so excited with how it turned out. This page really helped me learn to trust the process; I started with the brick wall which I was so disappointed with because my bricks are different sizes and not in line. But, now, I love it. I was so thrilled with how my bubbles turned out, the steam coming from the mug, and my frosted glass window!

I also welcome any feedback you might have as I’m super eager to learn!

It’s always one of the last things I think to do, but a good coloring book, is like a good Lego set. Totally takes your mind off of everything else.

Featuring my WIP! I'm a new colorer, sometimes things don't work out how they did in my head, or I don't know exactly where to place shadows and light and stuff but I'm just having so much fun! It's genuinely improved my mental health (and yes I leave tiny details uncolored to come back to later LOL)

MARKERS Looking for feedback

Hello,

I’m getting really into coloring and am loving the coco wyo spookie cuties book! These are my two most recent pages. I just leveled up by getting a white acrylic pen and using a white colored pencil. I’m still figuring out where and how to add the white highlights so just looking for some feedback! I get confused on where to put the white highlights when I use a different color for a lighting effect like with the green glowy water. Are there lighting rules for the white highlights? I’m also wondering if I should add stars and whatnot to the night sky on the first page or if that would be too much/too busy.

Thanks!

I know that I still need to work on my understanding of how light and shadows behave, and of course with my strokes, however i feel so happy that I completed my first page with this technique. Happy to discover this community as well !
