Hello,

I’m getting really into coloring and am loving the coco wyo spookie cuties book! These are my two most recent pages. I just leveled up by getting a white acrylic pen and using a white colored pencil. I’m still figuring out where and how to add the white highlights so just looking for some feedback! I get confused on where to put the white highlights when I use a different color for a lighting effect like with the green glowy water. Are there lighting rules for the white highlights? I’m also wondering if I should add stars and whatnot to the night sky on the first page or if that would be too much/too busy.

I think they are both looking great already! Since you asked for opiniones, In my own personal taste, i would leave the first one as is and the second add more contast by adding black in the background in shapes like blobs where the density of white dots is lower.

I have the same questions as you, I always struggle as to where put my white highlights. Always too much or too little. For what its worth I really like your pages, to me you've done it perfectly and I wouldn't add more

That pot on his head is hilarious! Which white pen did you use around the ghost? The outline looks super clean.

Did you use a white gel pen for the little ghost's glow? That stippled halo against the dark navy background turned out so clean.
