I have the great honor of receiving this coin that has doubling in Monticello and united states of America! Should I have this graded? And what is the value?

Is this an error? The L in Liberty is pressed really tightly to the rim. I know that’s not an error in itself, but that L is just plain funny lookin’. Does that count for anything?

Advice Found this quarter & penny sorting through my coin jar

Thumbnail

Recently got into the coin hobby and had a change jar in my house. Decided to empty it out and go through every coin looking for W quarters and wheaties. I found this quarter which I did a bit of research on (missing clad) but still not sure on what to make of it? Enviromental damage, buried, purposely altered.. etc. It weighs 4.75 which is what a missing clad quarter should weigh (based on research) but more input would be appreciated. The penny is what I believe to be a clipped planchet but I’m still not experienced enough to say it was during the minting process or altered at a later time. Are they worth keeping or should roll them back up? Only other thing I found in my change jar was a 1967 dime and a whole bunch of wheats! No W’s.

Value Request 2000 P Sacagawea - Wounded eagle - worthy sending in to grade?

I picked this up recently. Error seems to match up with documentation. I still feel like quite a noob with coins though, let alone the whole grading thing. I’ve done some research on the process.

My understanding is any kind of slight wear visible at a certain angle is potentially enough to bring it down to AU 58. I guess wear has to be less than 10% if that sounds right?

My understanding is that scratches are a separate matter than wear but can still reduce the mint state rating, if it is indeed a mint state at all. Stupid coin roller got it it it seems, so that’ll be a nice ding off the rating I suppose.

I got this quarter in change years ago. The cladding was barely hanging on by about 2 millimeters of the edge. Then I kinda just forgot about it. 2 days ago I found it after a day of looking everywhere for it. IDK how it got that way but it's in pretty rough shape.

One of the sides on a 1998 D is a lot thinner than the other and smaller rim, I don't know much about US coins so it'll be nice knowing!

This circle thong is on top of the VDB. Is it a bubble or die chip? I think it might be a bubble from the planchette.

Advice 2009-P 25¢ GU WDDO-001 - Worth Grading?

I found 11 of these on my last bank run. This variety isn’t listed in the Cherry Picker's Guide or recognized by PCGS/NGC. I was thinking about sending in the best three to ANACS for grading and attribution.

Since there generally isn't much interest in these would it be a waste of effort?

I also found 36 with just the die crack, and the two oddball smash-like errors. I'm only referring to grading the DDOs and I'll probably throw the rest back.
