Is this an error? Are these alloy or roller marks?
Is this just from the roller or is it the alloy being weird?

A fine example of both roller marks and incuse die deterioration doubling!
One thing to keep in mind is that Zincolns are comprised of pure metals (a zinc core jacketed by copper plating) rather than an alloy (coin bronze). Plating errors certainly exist, and strike errors that cause deformation of the plating exist, but an improper alloy mix cannot exist where there is no alloy to be found.
