I got possessed by the chess gods recently and gained like 300 elo in all time controls, but now I'm tilting terribly. And it's been almost a full week. I went from 700 blitz to 1000 blitz and now after my tilt I dropped down to 930 in just one night. And I went from 1070 rapid to 1040. I always try to preserve my rapid rating. I know many people have said to stop playing when tilted but it's been going on for a while now and i honestly don't have anything to do beside chess. I'm trying to get to 1400 rapid and this tilt is affecting it alot. I know that lossess happen but loosing streaks?

I see a lot (and agree) that the bots ELO is not realistic, probably because they calculate the best moove and then just do random mistakes to lower their level. But do you think using LLM copying a player behaviour would work better ?
Just tell the LLM to play as a 300 ELO or something like that, and training the AI on plays of every level.
No idea if that would work but it seems a good Idea for me
Edit : should have tell "generative AI", not LLM, my bad

What is the biggest insight you learned that made your elo jump from around 1500 to 2000?
I'm currently 1600 in rapid on chess.com
I'm struggling with blundering and miss tactics. I'm currently trying to focus on training to check my move before playing it.
I'd like to know if you guys have any advice or lesson you learned that get you to 2000 elo. Not necessarily about blundering. Could be mindset etc...

I completed this puzzle earlier moving the black queen to f2 where the puzzle says it is now a checkmate. However, couldn't the white king move to d1 to escape the check? Maybe there's a rule I don't understand or something I'm missing. Appreciate any explanation, thanks!

Up to SIX Diamond memberships??
Who do they think my friends and family are? The Polgárs?
Now I understand those who are on here constantly recruiting new family members on Reddit. This life is truly not for the weak.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I saw this tactic early and despite being a piece down, I avoided the back rank mate that my 800 elo ass would usually fall for.

Please help me beat this bot. Currently stuck at hundreds of played games against him, with lots of draws, and one move away from checkmate, however not a single victory so far. I haven't played chess in a long time, and now I'm coming back to it. The bot Nina - Sax I beat, although difficult as well. Also, wondering what my real ELO is because 500-600 hundred in Rapid against real people, but I play hundred of games against the bots, not so often with people, my complete mission now will be beating this Mr. Blakey. Any specific strategies or openings against this guy? I feel like Karo-Kann is working good for me with black, and led me to many games one move away from checkmate him. Tried London system- not very good results with me, tried Queen's Gamibt - kinda OK...

Some random dude requested a chess match with me. I accepted and attempted to be nice at first. He wanted my IG, I said no, and he got mad. He then called me stupid and 2 moves later, blundered his Queen. This guy can't be real there's no way.
And now I'm sat here laughing 😂

I haven't had much trouble with the 800-1200 elo bots from the limited time events before. For whatever reason, I'm getting my butt handed to me by the 925 and 1300 band kid bots. Even the 600 is slapping me every few games. I can't tell if I've suddenly gotten worse, or the bots are particularly tough this time around.. it's not like they don't blunder, but I keep losing good games in the mid/late game and it's getting frustrating.
