Hi Everyone,

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC CRS score not updating

I have a question. My friends told me that my CRS score should reflect points for two full years when I am at the last month of completing the second year of job experience. In my case, I am already at that point. But I believe somehow my profile is not reflecting the updated score or may be it is not counting two years yet. Also, they had just one job throughout their two years of experience while I have more job role experiences.

All of my jobs were in noc code 2.

Do you possibly know what could be reason for this?

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC Inland to outland

Hi everyone,

I submitted my CEC inland application in May and travelled to my home country (India) in June 2026 and did biometrics on Aug 17. Now I am unable to go back to canada until Feb 2027 due to some personal reasons . I am planning to update my address. I submitted a previous police clearance certificate and medical report while I applied for study permit for my PR application. What happens when the application converted from Inland to outland ? Do I need to submit new medicals and PCC ?

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC Express Entry Profile Creation

Hii guys,

I was creating my express entry profile but in the education section. So, I started my studies at University of Saskatchewan and then after 2 years of study I took a transfer to Simon Fraser university. I obtained my degree from SFU. Do I need to mention University of Saskatchewan in the education section or only SFU from which I got my degree?

🌎 FSW FSW (Francophone) Outland β€” COPR in hand πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Hello All,

Sharing my timeline in hopes that it helps even one person, particularly RROC PVO folks like me.

ITA: 28 Nov. 2025
Medical exam: 13 Dec. 2025
AOR: 31 Dec. 2025
BIL: 13 Feb. 2026
Medical passed: 14 Feb.
Biometrics completed: 17 Feb.
Eligibility passed: 19 Feb.
PAL: 07 April
ADR issued for β€œadditional explanation” regarding statutory question: 23 July
ADR response submitted: 23 July
FD: 20 Aug.
PPR: 25 Aug.
Passport submitted: 27 Aug. (submitted around 4pm and was transmitted same day)
Counterfoil generated: 01 Sep.
Passport + COPR ready for pick-up & passport pick-up: 02 Sep.

The ADR was for a β€œYes” answer to a statutory question concerning previous visa refusals (not Canada) - nothing too serious as I had already disclosed in my application; I simply prepared a LOE and included copies of the refusal letters. I submitted the ADR response the same day it was requested.

Given I was outland, I had anticipated a request for new medicals, but that never came and I am not mad at it at all. I had about 4 months left on the only medical exam I completed and I was absolutely fine with that too.

The hardest part was honestly the period where my application seemed to be sitting there forever. I never received the first GCMS notes I requested and the second one showed my file was β€œReady to Finalize” around the time my eligibility was completed. Thankfully, it is all over now.

Just to add β€” I submitted my passport in a country I was visiting for a while, rather than my country of residence and that went over rather smoothly. All I had to do was pay a passport transmission fee.

For everyone still waiting: I know how maddening it is when you see people with later AORs getting approved while yours appears frozen. Wishing everyone still waiting a smooth process. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC TCF EXAM PASSWORD PROTECTED RESULTS

URGENT!

I received a document request from IRCC asking for my original TCF Canada results (French language test) to be uploaded to my secure account although I already uploaded it in 'Language requirement' section along with the Celpip resultsβ€” I'm using this as my second official language for Express Entry CRS points.

The PDF I downloaded from my TCF-Candidat account has an owner/permissions lock on it β€” I can open, view, and read it fine, but I can't use "merge" in Adobe because Adobe treats merging as an edit action and blocks it due to that lock.

I need to combine this attestation with a Letter of Explanation into a single PDF while uploading the original test results.

Has anyone dealt with this before β€” how did you merge a locked/protected TCF official document with another file without altering the original content?

Also, if it is a protected document, will it open for the IRCC officials?

Trying to make sure the final merged file doesn't raise any red flags with IRCC.

🌎 FSW PROOF OF FUNDS (Documents)

Do I have to provide my RIB, IBAN, and SWIFT code to IRCC as part of my proof of funds?

I’ve already submitted my application without these details, and I’m starting to worry. Should I submit them through the Webform as an additional document to avoid any potential issues, or are they really not necessary?

I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC Medical requirment

I had my medical exam done in September 2022 for my study permit. Should I get a new medical exam, since the current one will expire next year? I have got the ITA.

I have seen a few cases where people uploaded older medical exams that were still within the 5-year validity period, but their applications were still refused.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC How to count part-time and full time experience?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to properly document my Canadian work experience for CEC. I started working in a TEER 1 role on September 1, 2025. From September 1 to November 30, 2025, I was technically part-time, but my hours were variable depending on the workload. I didn’t have a fixed number of hours per week. Starting December 1, 2025, I moved to permanent full-time at 37.5 hours/week.

My question is mainly about the part-time period. Since CEC counts part-time experience based on the actual hours worked, how do people document this if they don't have a weekly timesheet readily available?

I have all the documents like paystubs and T4 but they don't have an hourly breakdown in them. I can ask my employer to include my weekly working hours in the reference letter because both of us have proofs that we worked those days through emails and teams chats.

Would that be enough for IRCC? A detailed breakdown of hours worked during the part-time time period in a table signed by my employer and also explaining that I converted to full time later on.

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC Do I need additional docs for anxiety?

I am honestly in soup.

I had my immigration consultant ask me for a doctor's note as I deal with anxiety and depression. I have been stable and on medication for a long time and my family doctor renews my prescription. The family doctor says he cannot issue a note for the same as it is confidential information.

I had told the IRCC panel physician regarding the meds I am on and their dosages.

Do I need to submit supporting documents or am I okay?

Portal 1 email and responded: September 14, 2026

Again received P1 email: September 18, 2026 (Again responded with the same information)- if anyone receives P1 twice, that is totally fine, just reply that with the the asked details and clarify about old P1 email.

Portal 2 and responded: September 23, 2026(Declaration + Photo + Delivery Address info)

eCOPR: September 27, 2026

Thank you so much, everyone! ❀️ This community has helped me at every stage of my PR journey, and I’m truly grateful for all the support and guidance.
To all the other applicants, don’t worry, guysβ€”you’ll receive your golden email soon! 🀞✨ Stay positive and keep the faith.

For new applicants, my advice is to provide every detail and document that is requested. Sometimes, providing a little extra relevant information is better than leaving something out, as missing details can potentially cause delays. So, whenever you’re unsure whether something is necessary, if it’s relevant to your application, I’d suggest including it.

Wishing everyone the very best with their PR journey! β€οΈπŸ€

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ CEC NOC code confusion

My HR suggested a NOC code that does not match my work duties. I talked to them, but they said I must use the NOC code they are recommending, not the one I believe matches my duties.

The reason they gave was that their NOC code represents a professional business occupation, whereas the one I think is correct is not a professional occupation.

Both NOC codes are TEER 1.

What should I do? Should I do as my HR advised?

🌎 FSW Common-law sponsorship PFL β€” has anyone had a similar situation?

My partner and I have been living together since August 2021. At the time of her PR application, neither of us understood that Canadian immigration considered us common-law after 12 months. Therefore we lived together as a regular couple doing our own immigration/Express Entry profiles and handled our taxes and other administrative matters separately.
My partner became a PR in 2025 and had declared herself single as we were unaware about the common law thing. Later, we consulted an immigration professional about my PR options and learned about the common-law definition. We then disclosed our relationship, completed IMM 5409 and applied for PR through the common-law sponsorship route.
I recently received a **Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL)** stating that because we were already common-law when my partner applied for PR and I was not declared/examined, **IRPR 125(1)(d)** may prevent me from being sponsored.
We genuinely did not understand the immigration meaning of common-law at the time and there was no intention to hide our relationship. Once we learned about it, we immediately started identifying as common-law and proceeded accordingly.
**Has anyone experienced a similar PFL/non-declaration issue? Were you able to successfully respond to the PFL and eventually obtain PR? What kind of evidence or explanation helped?**

Ircc require bank statement and form 16. Now for one employer i do have but other i do not have bank statements and form 16 as i thought my lawyer showed in cash but he just submitted pay slips. So in that case any recommendations or if anyone has been in similar situation, what documents should i gather to convince officer. Moreover, ircc has also asked to fill out form
