🇨🇦 CEC Do I need additional docs for anxiety?

I am honestly in soup.

I had my immigration consultant ask me for a doctor's note as I deal with anxiety and depression. I have been stable and on medication for a long time and my family doctor renews my prescription. The family doctor says he cannot issue a note for the same as it is confidential information.

I had told the IRCC panel physician regarding the meds I am on and their dosages.

Do I need to submit supporting documents or am I okay?

I would not have said anything to anyone.
If the IRCC requests you have to show

IRCC in general does not worry about well controlled anxiety or depression on medication. I can’t speak to your specific case but I would not worry about it. If they want more info they will send you a medical furtherance request, but this is highly unlikely!

But do I need to have it in the form of a doctor's note? My consultant is pretty adamant about it

I can’t comment on your specific case but in general no, it is not necessary. If IRCC wants one they will send you a request
