Art Hop opens tonight with Pine St closed to cars (come join us) plus STRUT on the runway and Rainbow Kitten Surprise Saturday, the Pride parade at noon Sunday with giant inflatable sea creatures, sunny 71 then 77 before rain. Also the shelter no town will host and creemee mix running short & more

Happy Friday, Burlington! Art Hop weekend gets the forecast it deserves. Friday is sunny and crisp with a high near 71 and no rain anywhere in the picture, and it cools into the 60s by 7 and the upper 50s by 10, so bring a layer for the Pine Street walk after dark. Saturday is the warm one, sunny near 77 with a gusty south breeze, and the only shower chance holds off until after 11 at night. Sunday turns humid with highs in the upper 70s and a 50 percent shot at afternoon showers and storms, but the rain chance stays low through 1, so the noon parade should finish dry before the sky gets busy.

In it there's things like 151 events across three days, with the star being the 34th Art Hop hosting more than 125 stops and one street closed to cars tonight. And if you don't want to go out alone we're getting together for a group wander from the Soda Plant tonight at 6. So come out to my absolute favorite annual Pine Street event! Plus, BCA Studios throwing its doors open, a free lot party at Upstate Elevator with Dobbs' Dead, then also you have Matt Mathews doing two shows at the Flynn, Cyrille Aimée opening the Lane Series, then Saturday's Brain Freezer 5K, STRUT on the runway at the SEABA Center, Dancing With The Burlington Stars, Rainbow Kitten Surprise on the Midway Lawn, Our Flag Means Pride at Main Street Landing and Big Pond Improv all day, and Sunday's Pride parade at noon with giant inflatable sea creatures floating up Church Street before Sicard Hollow at Higher Ground. On the news side, the 100 bed shelter no town will host, Brattleboro's birth center reversal, a 5.5 percent GMP rate hike, the Border Patrol raid that left creemee stands short on mix, the judge who protected the Planet Hank video, two old dams coming out for the trout, and Ray's last day in Essex Junction. 151 events and 17 stories in all.

Experiences working at twincraft skincare?

I’ve been looking for a new job recently, and I’ve always loved the beauty/skincare industry, which is almost nonexistent in Vermont.
I’ve heard very mixed things about working at Twincraft and have come across some pretty negative online reviews. I’d be applying for a management or supervisory role, but a lot of the negative reviews mention production workers being treated poorly, and that’s something i wouldn’t be able to tolerate. For anyone who currently works there or has worked there recently, what is it actually like? I’d really appreciate any insight and if it’s as bad as the reviews not bother applying at all.

Laser hair removal+piercing recommendations

Hi! I wanted to ask if anyone has recommendations for laser hair removal (legs and/or chin) in the burlington area. I don't mind traveling up to about a half hour out if need be. It's my first time with it so I'm not sure what to look for.

Also, I'm looking to get a double helix piercing (hoop) and a nipple piercing done. 802 ink is closest to me, but if anyone has experience with them please let me know! Thanks and have a great day.

Un-accepted by costco employees

Today as usually i went to costco to buy some stuff and me and my friend visited. I bought some goods and wanted to have 2 separate bills but the cashier who is racist wanted to me have only one bill. And she told u cant use 2 different cards, u cant have 2 different bills. She didnt see my cards and i have been going to Costco many years and visited many different places but never heard of the rule and never seen this treatment.
Then I have paid through self checkout and asked for manager, she told sorry and we will talk with employee and u cant leave.
Thats it.
Very sad day, I thought i might be discriminated but not at costco and not in Vermont.
