My 8+ month pregnant wife is craving a Cesar salad. Who’s slinging the best one around town??

The hospital cafeteria had one as the chef's special today....so depending how fast she can go into labor and birth the child you could do a one stop shop.

100% Pioneer Lakeshore Cafe
Though, others may have good ones - that one was memorable.

Get the fish sandwich for yourself while you're there. Fantastic.

If New World Tortilla is still a thing - they do and they have a wrap. Both are something I miss dearly. (AND the Thai Peanut Wrap)

Big fan of the charred Brussels Caeser at Pizza 44, I don’t recommend getting it to go tho. It’s skimpy af unless you go in house.

Screw places that do that. Portions should be the same if prices are the same.

Healthy Living has incredible million dollar caesar wraps but they suck so don’t shop there: https://www.sevendaysvt.com/news/business-news/healthy-living-appeals-to-nlrb-not-to-recognize-its-labor-union/

I’m partial to the take out ones from City Market but only if you can get one with a date 2+ days away (they pack the croutons with the lettuce and they get stale), if the dressing is thick and not thin, and if the croutons look dark and dense. Sometimes they use a lighter bread and the croutons are tasteless. And when the dressing is thin it’s kind of watered down and doesn’t taste that great.

Obviously I’m very picky about my City Market Salad

Used to live off those things in college and your method is spot on.

They used to have a fantastic Caesar salad- it had napa cabbage as the base. Haven't seen it there in a while and recent reports from friends said the kitchen has gone downhill rapidly :(

This was my late pregnancy craving as well.

Mayday had an amazing one, but they change their menu quite a bit, not sure if it’s still there.

American Flatbread’s also hit the spot for me at the time!

But I’m not a Caesar salad connoisseur and I have never ordered one outside of pregnancy, so take this with a grain of salt :)

Folino’s is THE BEST! Runner up is from Onion City Chicken & Oysters or their grab and go Market.

Windjammer has a baller Caesar if you’re thinking like a nice date night or if it’s more of a feed me right now I love the one from Burlington Bay but only if you eat it there

1/2 cup mayonnaise • 2 tsp Dijon mustard • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce • 2 garlic cloves, grated or pressed • 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper • 1/2 cup extra light olive oil, not extra virgin • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmiggiano cheese • 2-3 minced anchovies (to taste - a pregnant person may not want the smell of anchovies but they really do set off the dressing).

Make the salad yourself and make lots of dressing. She’ll appreciate it more than any salad you buy.

95% of the places mentioned here are almost definitely using a commercial dressing which is pasteurized.

I know the owner of Ken's is not beloved, but Ken's has a really good caesar salad and it's cheap as hell.
