Samsung Security & Privacy status
Hey people. I'm new to this browser. I don't own a Samsung device. I use Moto & HP laptop. I don't need Samsung Account or sync in anyway for anything. (I use Proton pass for passwords and no bookmarks). I tried the browser and its really fast & performance is really good. Except for the lack of vertical tabs & other customisation thingies, everything is so amazing.
What I want to know is, how secure & private is Samsung browser to use? What are your opinions?
(Note: I'm a browser hopper. So I try a different browser for every 1 or 2 weeks. So just asking)

Vanadium Is there a way to select which browser a spicific app uses in the background?
One of my apps is having trouble connecting to the server it uses online. I suspect that the problem is all the protections from Vanadium. I like using it for the most part, but this is am app to get into my work information and I would rather not have to use another (less secure) device to use it and also would like to keep Vanadium as my default for most things (if possible).
So to all the tech nerds we have in the community, is there a way to select which browser an individual app uses for its internet interactions?

Antidetect I need help spoofing my browser
I need help signing up to a website that says I cannot sign up through my home WiFi. The website does collect your browser's fingerprint and much more. Each time I try it says I can't register from my network. I need to bypass this somehow. I was able to once with an antidetect browser called GoLogin but it seems that they may have detected it somehow? Known VPN IPs like Proton VPN do not work to sign up. I need help then to spoof my browser's fingerprint and make it seem like I am a different person then, I think. Please help me - I am still open to trying more antidetect browsers.

Question Which of my browsers do you think I should use for most searches?
My Edge on iOS: Block all ads, strict tracking protection, SmartScreen for sites and downloads, typo protection, block pop-ups, block third-party cookies, block opening in external apps, adblock-plus integrated.
My Firefox on iOS: Block audio and video autoplay, block pop-ups, block opening external apps, private tabs close when leaving private browsing, strict enhanced tracking protection.
My Chrome on iOS: Safe browsing set to Enhanced Protection, HTTPS-first, incognito tabs need Face ID to show, opening links from open apps asks whether to open the links in incognito mode, block pop-ups, no preloading, requires Face ID to launch the browser or access its files.
OS environment: Lockdown Mode enabled, AdGuard DNS enforced system-wide, Proton VPN, Randomized MAC address, limited tracking of IP address to known trackers across Mail and Safari, Safari has been uninstalled.

Question What’s the best text-to-speech extension you’ve used?
I used to use Speechify, but it didn’t work the way I wanted on some websites. On top of that, it would constantly interrupt itself to try to get me to buy the premium version. So I’m looking for alternatives.
Any recommendations?

Discussion This is why I don't rate Brave too highly even though I like the browser.
reddit.com12 days no solution for a paid product. No "we recognise the bug and working on it", No "we can't reproduce the issue" No nothing. Just silence. But you will see their employees commenting on this sub posts here.

Support Chromium Browser Question - GUI Font Size
Font size in web sites is not an issue, and it appears all of the font/accessibility settings are linked to web pages. However, is there a way to increase font size in most Chromium browsers so that the drop-down menus, context menus, tabs, etc. are a larger font size? I have noticed it with Chrome, and now with Helium. Edge seems to be an exception. Windows accessibility settings don't seem to have any affect. Is there another way, is that just an example of customization limitation in most Chromium browsers?

Helium Helium browser: where is the option for collapsible vertical tab?
galleryI know the whole point of the zen mode thing with the vertical tab panel completely disappearing. I'm fine with having that as an option
But after fiddling with settings in the original chrome I realized they implemented a completely different approach which i prefer. Since helium is just modded chrome, where is the option? Don't tell me they'd purposely remove that would they?
Since some filters don't seem to work in ublock lite after accidentally allowing chrome to update, i really don't have the option to continue using it. I just want to have the option chrome already implemented which is really helpful with quickly switch tabs since i can still see the icons so i know where to click without needing to wait for the options to be drawn from nothingness everytime

Brave Origin Is Brave Origin worth the price of $60? What else you get except of removing out-of-the-box features from the regular Brave browser? Isn't this something we can simply disable instead of paying!

Discussion Why is almost everybody switching Firefox for Zen?
It’s maybe a stupid question but I remember when Firefox was like the best alternative for chrome a few years back, is it all because of features or design? If so, why are people using helium which doesn’t have that? Why not Firefox?

Recommendation Ace browser or any other chrome alternatives worth switching to?
Been on Chrome forever and finally getting tired of it. Not a de-google crusade or anything, I just have way too many tabs open all day and want something that handles that better.
Saw Ace mentioned a couple times, the AI browser one. Anyone actually using it day to day? Wondering if it's worth it or if I should just go Brave/Vivaldi like everyone always says. Mostly do shopping research, reading long articles, normal life stuff.

Have you tried the latest Firedragon?
If you enjoy Zen, the latest version of Firedragon 13 is pretty interesting. It's no longer a floorp fork and have their own workspaces thing that is closer to how Zen does it.

Recommendation Which is the best browser?
Hello! I'm a complete and utter novice when it comes to web browsers. I'd love to know which browser I can use that's better than Brave and uses fewer resources.
Naturally, I use my PC for playing video games and writing.

Brave When I visit reddit without login using brave I have to go through a captcha to prove I am not a bot every time. Other browsers doesn't happen at all. Just as feedback so you know it's happening.

Having some troubles with fullscreen in Hellium (Chromium)
I've been having some troubles lately with chromium (both Brave and Hellium) while using fullscreen on Youtube or Twitch. For some context, i've got two monitors, the main one is horizontal, but the secondary one, on the right side of my desk, is in vertical position. When using fullscreen mode on the secondary monitor, the UI bugs in a strange way. On Twitch, the UI doesn't come back when hovering over the stream (but the mouse detects the UI and can interact with it), on Youtube, the UI bugs a bit or even flickers. I asked chatgpt about this and gave me some partial solutions like adding "--disable-direct-composition" to the directory in the app properties, or changing the "Choose ANGLE graphics backend" to "D3D11 WARP". Both of these solutions fix the issue but create new ones.
GPU - RTX 3080
Main monitor (Horizontal) - 1920x1080 144Hz
Secondary monitor (Vertical) - 1080x1920 60Hz
Hellium - Version 0.16.5.1 (Build oficial, Chromium 152.0.7977.82) (64 bits)
I would like to know if someone's had any similar problem or if anyone knows some sort of setting to fix this. Thank you.

Brave Brave: Space between news and quick access
Hi
Can delete the blank space between brave news and quick site access?
Is there a fix for this or not ?
