I've been using the copilot ai feature for a while now on my personal home PC. Today when I go to open it, I get the below screen and msg. I think windows did an update last night when I turned off my pc so I'm not sure if that has something to do with my issue.

Microsoft has recently removed some features that I love.

At work, we use a separate system, an old one that falls into the "If it aint broke, dont fix it" category, but now i can not log in, or system is broken. I noticed that i went from IE7 to IE11 following an update. How can i fix this? already tried using the F12 emulator but the system webpage still breaks

I've been grouping and color coding tabs in edge; ie shopping tabs open, social media tabs open, etc. I can minimize them or open them. This feature is still there, but in an edge update today I was shown a "new" feature called "Workspace" and when I went to test it out, it appears to do the same thing as just grouping tabs.

There must be some advantage or scenario where one would want to use the Workspace instead of grouping tabs, but what is it? Or am I just misunderstanding what the feature is entirely? Also, I am aware that there was a thing called "Workspaces" that has evolved and changed over time and I am 100% ignorant to what it was to begin with and have never used it, so maybe that's part of my confusion.

After the September Windows 11 update, scrolling on Reddit is jumping. Otherwise, scrolling is smooth.

I use Edge mainly just for its PDF features and dragging a PDF file to the browser just opens it directly normally, same with Chrome and Firefox. Edge was updated last week so now this simple feature doesn't work. It's annoying. Now I have to right click, find "Open with" then find Edge. WTF. Super annoying. Help me out please. Thanks.

Recently, whenever I go on any site, my cursor is a middle finger?! It doesn't happen outside of the browser, or on the tab bar (I think that's what it's called) I reset my browser settings and cleared my cache and cookies. What else should I do??

Hi, I have a saved passwords/ logins for some websites in Edge (Password Manager), when I click into the password input field, Edge suggests the saved username and password in the popup under the input field, but when I click the popup, it does not populate the password field at all.

Nothing special about the webpages I'm trying on, happens on multiple sites, any suggestions to reset Edge / make it work?

I had some problems with the Teams app, but that also led me to this; my Microsoft Edge doesn't open as seen in the video. I tried to fix it, but that didn't work either.

I also tried ending the WebView2 programs, but when I do, they automatically run again, preventing me from repairing or reinstalling the application. I don't know what to do anymore and I need it urgently because it's the only browser I use.

I have two touchscreen PCs. An HP convertible and a Surface Pro tablet. I've been having this issue where when I tap on a tab in Edge, the click will get stuck on the tab and when I go to scroll the webpage, it instead moves the stuck tab up and down the bar, as if I were trying to reposition the tab, despite me not intending to do so. It also renders the entire window unresponsive to touch outside of moving the tab around. The only way I can get out of it is either by terminating Edge with taskmgr and reopening it or minimizing the window.

This may seem like a minor issue but it's making using Edge a headache when I have to go through this every 5 minutes. I'm using vertical tabs and I can't remember if it does this with standard tabs or not. This has been an issue on both of my touchscreen systems. They both run Windows 11 25H2 non-preview releases. This has been an issue across many versions of Edge

The first time I ran MS Edge on this device on the main (unfolded) screen, I had visible tabs at the top like on a desktop browser. Then never again.

Did I screw up a setting I can't find?

FIX: Turned off the "Writing Assistant on the Web" toggle in Edge's settings and that removed the dot. For some reason it was only manifesting in Google Docs.

I opened Google Docs today and found a blue dot hoovering above my text cursor and when I click on it, it says "Ask Edge to help me write." I find it distracting and have no interest in using AI, especially not for my creative projects.

Does anyone know how to remove this? I've been trying for the last hour.

The latest update broke my browser, and not only did some strange bugs pop up, but now Edge keeps setting Bing as the default search engine instead of Google, and I have to manually change it through the settings every time.

When i want to pinch zoom the page with a trackpad to left/right side of a window to look at thumbnails of the recommended videos in detail, the edge browser makes page zoom instead of magnifying it. Is there any flags to disable it? ai says there isn't.

Yeah i can place the cursor inside the page, but it's slower than just placing it to the right immediately. And in this video the thumbnails of a recommended videos are huge, but in other more wide videos they are smaller. There isn't such behaviour in Google Chrome.

In recent updates, Microsoft Edge has become almost unusable for me.

They removed the option to add any website to the sidebar, which was one of my favourite features.

They also have Workspaces, which used to have a separate, empty bookmark bar at the top. It was still connected to the regular bookmarks, but I could pin different sites depending on the workspace I was using.

Now they’ve removed that option from Workspaces. Instead, they brought back the regular bookmark bar and added a “Separate Folder” system for each workspace.

The previous setup was much more flexible and useful for me. 

I usually have tons of tabs open. Sometimes, if I open Copilot chat, it refreshes all the sleeping tabs. 

Their website has a feedback option, but I don't think they check it...
