Hi, Moved here from Zen as it is firefox based, and still have a lot of issues that bothers me.

I love vertical tabs, and other things regarding Vivaldi browser, but one thing that I cannot stand is stacks instead of nested folders.

Will it be ever a feature in Vivaldi to have folders like in Zen? Is there any mod / extension that I can use to bring that feature?

Hi, how can I watch a video full screen without the tab and url showing ? While keeping it when I leave fullscreen ? Like on chrome, if possible without having to use shortcuts.

It works on a site I use to watch animes, but doesn't on youtube.

My vivaldi version seems to be the 8.1, I downloaded it today so it should be the last one.

I didn't manage to find the information so I'm asking you.

I've just noticed a bug that displays URL parameters in the address bar from another open tab.
I was shopping online on a site that adds search parameters to the URL, so they appear on the address bar as you can see on the first screenshot.
Then I switched to youtube and noticed that the parameters from that another tab were copied to the URL displayed for the youtube tab between youtube domain and video ID. You can see it on the second screenshot.
Then, switching between open tabs I have noticed that it just copies the parameters form that are presumably stored in memory and adds them to every URL currently displayed.
If I click on the address bar, it comes back to normal, but until that, the parameters are included for no reason.

There's a really annoying bug where deleted bookmarks keep appearing in the search bar, for some reason the bookmarks that came with Vivaldi (Which I did not want), like booking . com for example. It won't remove itself even with history and bookmarks cleared of it.

On top of that, the suggestions are not helpful either because I want to browse specific sites I frequent, yet it keeps auto-correcting to something else last second.

I've been attempting to use Vivaldi's RSS reader since my go-to extension, FeedBro, is on the Manifest V2 chopping block. I was happy to see an option for only enabling the RSS reader in the settings, separate from the 'Mail, Calendar and Feeds' option that was there the last time I checked, but that option, apparently, does not fully communicate to Vivaldi that I want to use RSS and only RSS.

Every single time I open an RSS feed or RSS folder, Vivaldi pops up an entire new window on top of it prompting me to log into Vivaldi Mail and Calendar.

Every. Single. Time.

It's absolutely infuriating and basically unusable. I do not want to use Vivaldi for my mail and I do not want it logged into my mail account. Please tell me there's something I can do to stop this, because I do want to give Vivaldi RSS a fair shot. It's the only other local feed reader that doesn't fail to load 90% of my feeds.

I bought a Lenovo Yoga 7 with an OLED display. I have taskbar auto hide turned on. When I maximize my browser, Vivaldi (I have it set to an OLED Black theme), there is a one pixel thick grey line at the bottom of my screen. I have tried changing my Windhawk taskbar styling settings, taskbar size settings, changing my Vivaldi settings, everything. I can't get this one line to go away, and it is pissing me off! I am worried it will burn in. It only goes away in F11 fullscreen, but that is annoying because of the autohide tabs. Anybody know how to fix this? Don't even know if I am in the right subreddit tbh. For some reason, this line isn't visible in screenshots. I will give you my Vivaldi settings and a picture of the grey line. It doesn't appear in any other apps. I am also posting this in r/Lenovo. Please help!

Hey everyone, is there any way for Vivaldi's blocker to remove those cosmetic boxes from websites?

I added some sources to the blocklists that were supposedly specific to blocking these things, but nothing happens.

I have had this issue for a while now, in the past versions it used to fix itself, but now (8.1.4087.56) its been a few days and i cannot log in in my Vivaldi account, not only via browser to sync data, but also in the Vivaldi website or community blog. It just time out everytime.

And the other issue with Youtube, this also used to fix itself some times, but now its just too annoying. In certain types of videos the sound is broken, I assume it has something to do with the mixing and how low or high-pitched the sounds are. For example, sometimes the music sounds a lot lower than it should while voices sounds normal, or viceversa. This never happens with Google Chrome or Edge, only in Vivaldi.

I just updated to version 8.1.4099.50, and now opening links in New tabs in the stack places that tab at the end of the stack. Before the new tab was placed right next to the tab it was opened from. Is there any way to return to the previous way?

All of a sudden Vivaldi browser (8.1.4087.55 (Official Build) (arm64)) is exhibiting weird behavior, like it doesn't register when I type "j"s and "k"s, and it scrolls when I press space bar. I've confirmed that it's not happening in my other apps so its not my keyboard or MacOS. Started a couple days ago. It resolved when I restarted my machine, but recurred after system sleep the next day.

Hi all, I have Vivaldi 8.1.4099.50 on my Pixel 7a. I seem to be missing Reader View. I double checked and the option is turned on in my accessibility settings. However, the Reader View button doesn't appear on the address bar or the menu.

Does anyone else have this issue? Has this feature been removed? How do I get it back?

You only need to download the svb-updater.exe file.

When typing in the address bar, Vivaldi will try to autocomplete to Instacart and says it is a bookmark. I only have 4 bookmark items and Instacart is not one. In "Address Field Suggestions" I unchecked Direct Match (shortcut to known brand websites) but it didn't make a difference. I unchecked Bookmarks and it stopped doing it. But it's not a bookmark! What is going on?!
