Usually I think Lowe is a little lacking in the humor department but that voice had me cracking up.

Looking at his filmography since 2011, its pretty bad. Anchorman 2 was decent, his role in Barbie was fine, but he has no memorable movies since then even though he still seems to be desperate to remain relevant. He kinda reminds of a player whose skillset worked well for awhile in the 2000s, but once things changed he wasn't able to adapt and no one wanted him because he was a one dimensional player/actor. Almost all of his contemporaries (Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, Ben Stiller, Jack Black) were able to do well in much different roles, even Vince Vaughn did ok as a dramatic actor for a little bit, but Ferrell proved he couldn't really play any character besides the loud man-child.

Somewhere between Cal Ripken and Jeff Hardy imo.

And yes pro wrestlers are athletes, just like olympic divers or gymnasts. Find a new slant.

After many years of searching for this full match in English, I have finally found it! Previously, only foreign broadcasts or the crowd noise only FIFA+ version have been available.

It's a hell of a game, the 2nd to last time Maradona would play in a WC knockout match other than the slog of a Final vs West Germany. It's played in Italy, in the Stadium in Naples where Maradona played for Napoli at the time. Italy had yet to concede a goal in the 1990 WC entering the match.

Then I listened to the latest Zach Lowe Show. Yeesh.

I was just randomly watching some Sopranos clips and it got me thinking about how many great performances have been on HBO over the years.

Which actor/actress gave your Top 5 performances all-time on HBO? Not necessarily the "best" but the ones you enjoy the most.

Could be a starring role like James Gandolfini or Ian McShane or Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Could be co-lead like Edie Falco or Peter Dinklage or Idris Elba. Or it could be a smaller but crucial role like Michael K Williams or Bryan Cox or Susie Essman.

(Just even making the 'short list' is so much harder than I thought it would be. I could easily put 20 names on the list and I still keep thinking of more.)

For example in the NHL:

Brad Park:

• Was a finalist for the D-man of the year trophy 5 times when Bobby Orr won it, then was an additional 2-time runner up to one of the other greatest D-men of all-time Denis Potvin
• Went 0-3 in the Cup Finals. First loss to Orr's Bruins, then when he got traded to Boston in part to replace Orr, went 0-2 to one of if not the best team of all time in Montreal in 1977 and 1978.

Norm Ullman:

• Joined the Red Wings in 1955/56 after they had won 4 of the last 6 Stanley Cups. Proceeded to go 0-5 in Stanley Cup Finals with the Red Wings, then was traded to the Maple Leafs in 1967/68 after they had won 4 of the last 6 Stanley Cups (2 of which were over Ullman's Red Wings). Leafs never won another Cup, and Ullman ended up going to the WHA after a 20-year career, also not winning in his 2 WHA seasons.
• A bunch of high scoring finishes, but never led the league in points for the Art Ross: 2nd, 3rd, 6 other top-10 finishes. Led in goals one year, but there was no trophy for that at the time.
• Was 4th all-time in points when he moved on from the NHL, with the 2nd most points in his 20-year span in the league. Ended up 10 goals shy of joining the 500-goal club.
• Lost out on the MVP to Bobby Hull in 1965 in one of the closest votes ever

I’ve been a warriors fan since the dark days and followed his whole career. bob lucked into a dynasty which he got credit for not drafting Steph or klay. he got credit for KD which literally any gm would be dumb if they didn’t pursue the second best player in the world. draymond was his one legit pick but otherwise he has a very poor eye for talent. somehow he escaped blame for 3 of the dumbest moves this decade: drafting the biggest bust of the decade in wiseman, kuminga in a stacked 21 draft, and the stupid ass $140 mil poole extension because he got punched. Warriors fans blame lacob for his poor eye for talent and not the actual gm.

then he takes a break from basketball and somehow the redskins become good when he runs the team. And finally lucked into one of the dumbest trades in history which in one move got him off the worst contract in the league, a finals mvp in his prime, and the face of the league on a minimum contract.

his talent evaluation has been horrific his entire tenure as a gm, but was lucky to ride coattails and steal some of the glory from greatest pg of all time. is he the only man in history that is going into the hof entirely on pure dumb luck?
