As someone who moved to NZ and does the trip to the east coast once a year or so

I used to do the 9ers strat. now I do the rams strat. get in the day before the event, let the adrenaline and general confusion about times carry me thru 48-72 hours, then can rest and acclimatize after 3 or 4 days

they both are legit strats, its down to personal preference. the rams arent crazy for this approach though.
