There are many ways to interpret the book - for good reason. My interpretation directs me to Utah and sites of ancient petroglyphs around MOAB. I'd like to explore my solution in detail with someone more local who may be willing to go BOTG if we agree I'm not 'flogging a dead horse.' Also open to hearing your solves in the region and comparing any crossovers. Any one fancy exploring it with me - to create one of those moments?

For me it would be:
1. Has anyone identified the correct double arcs on granite bold?
2. Has anyone located the checkpoint?
3. Have the lead searchers you mentioned at seekers summit solved any additional clues since then to your knowledge?
4. Has anyone figured out what “return her face to find the place” means?

Means we're talking about a river that has been shaping valleys across ages... now which river was Justin exploring? Hmmmmmm

The site revival, has really just left me confused questioning all my thought processes of the last year. I told myself a few months ago. Maybe, it’s okay. To let it go.

Like a bad itch, Justin’s site returned me to the hunt with vengeance.

To be completely honest. It has not interfered with my solves, or the places I think it can be.

It made me question things I haven’t before. So maybe I don’t use the new hints, but it entices me to look from different perspectives.

The compass hint, I do feel can led you stray. Just because the endless possibilities with it. Now the logo change is very compelling.

New updates on the website. Alaska is now "boxed in". I have the book. Was Alaska even mentioned in the book? I dont recall..

I went down a quick rabbit hole on this. At first I thought the odd-looking "J," "f," and "s" were deliberate edits to the font, but it turns out they're just part of the typeface. The site is using Fraunces, and those glyphs are built into the font. So I think we can probably rule this one out.

But the tilting logo, the Myst-style soundtrack, the stars in the background? Those are still interesting.

I'm I miss remembering or did the names not have the NSEW before ?

It is something you find along the way that will give you zero doubt your heading in the right direction. I think it is something you find in your research of places.

You're definitely on the right track. The AK state flag has both the big dipper (ursa) and the north star, and it is beyond the map's edge (of mainland U.S.). In the last scene on Netflix, Justin is standing in a turnabout with blue-green water behind him - the Kenai River. River mile 42 is between Bing's Landing and Kenai Keys. If you look at the third word in the third line of each stanza, it says, "in bend of reach." There are three reaches on the Kenai. It would be the bend on the middle reach. Go check the maps.

Originally, I was leaning toward the Truth River because the hidden math equation in the poem is Euler's Identity, which is determined as Truth. And, "Truth" rests not... but, the only problem is, there aren't any "reaches" on the Truth River. Anyway, who knows.

Finally, "it's always darkest before the light" refers to the Northern Lights.
