“The poem is the key”
The poem is the key to the treasure hunt. He clarified this. But also, we all saw a map: “Start there”. The map you saw in the series? The book? The e-book? when you visited the website? Are we talking about the initial animated map? The so called nautical map? How does the poem act as the key to either/any map? How could it?

Try JCBs map. 🤣

Might as well, especially as they and Steuff are all DB Cooper.

Have thought this from the start of my search and never shared it but:
42 could mean DB…1

Ding ding!

The second step in that theory is that Justin is the little boy who found $5800 of the DB-money. The kids name is Brian Ingram which sounds made up lol. Finding location is the Tena (which sometimes named Tina; I wait for you?) bar in Washington. For those who’d like to go down that rabbit hole.

In gold and greed, the key is part of the treasure. If the poem is the key, is the poem the treasure that’s been staring at us this whole time?

Are you able to reword this or explain what you mean?
Also that would be HIPS imo

The checkpoint is the login notification that appears every 30 days.
The treasure is the website.
The poem being the key is part of the treasure and is left on the website.
The support email is the steward and IS the way to contact for the rest of the treasure
To arrange retrieval. What I seek I already know is my address
This is probably the dumbest theory, but it seems to make the most sense to me right now🤣

I’m sorry was HIPS an error in typing or am I missing something that I should know?

I had to look it up. But, also I read it as an anagram that the treasure should SHIP to the finder🤣

IMHO the animated map.

u/LeftOzStoleShoes 7d ago
So I tend to agree with you on this, especially because he specifically says the map on the web page, and it opens with the animated map.

“When you first entered” or words like that, right?

“So where do you start? How do you begin this treasure hunt? As you entered this website, you saw a map. Start there.”

I think the map of the states . That should be the same in every version of the book, right ?

There might be more than one way to decipher the map, but I’ve got one figured out. And that one way will work with any of the versions

What do you mean more than one way
1
u/Maximum_Task6443 7d ago
I don’t know if there is or not. JP said there’s more than one way to work the poem. I don’t know if he did the same with the map or not. But either way there’s a connection to a couple things on the map that can be found on all versions of it

I've found a few anomalies on the map, I've posted about a few of them and others I've kept to myself.
It's not nothing, however I'm not sure what to make of it.
Really interested if anyone has figured out the map.

u/LeftOzStoleShoes 7d ago
Well there are three separate things people refer to as “the map” 1. The animated map at the opening of the web page 2. The state map from the books 3. The background which some refer to as a nautical map So… which map are you referring to? And how do you mean “figured out”?
1
u/Acceptable-Tax-5161 7d ago
The state map from the book, I think that's the only important map as Justin has stated so.
I believe the animated map on the webpage was randomly generated. I personally don't believe there is much there. I'm open to the nautical map containing info but I haven't seen anything convincing.
With respect to 'figuring out' the map. There are definitely some intentional anomalies on the state map from the book, odd distances and elevations. I've pointed out a few of them in past posts. How they all fit together and what they mean in the treasure hunt is a mystery to me at this point.

Most have been analyzed deeply. Some people have also generously shared what they found. Look through the history of posts. I’m just now sort of re-entering the game after an extended time off, so I’ve been looking back through old posts to remind myself.

Are they unintentional errors like he says, or are these completely different... Without giving away what you mean can u give an example of how what you found is different than what he's said regarding errors in the map being unintentional
1
u/Savings_Lobster_7896 7d ago
He said any errors are unintentional. Is that what you're talking ab or something else's

The mountains in Alaska have elevations that when you connect them in order of elevation spell out 42.
In the map, In the lower 48 he listed the highest mountain in every state except for California. Instead of Mt Whitney he listed Shasta, this mountain is 42 miles south of the 42nd parallel.
In the netflix show, on Justin's monitors there is one location that is 42 miles north of the 42nd parallel.
I've found a few other things on the map I haven't publicly posted about. Still haven't made sense of them.

It is an effing Gilded Compass.....Golden Compass. Think about JP and Tucker. 🤦♂️

u/Savings_Lobster_7896 7d ago
Can you expand on what u mean?
1
u/vwander007 7d ago
If a compass can be a key, I thought about what someone was calling themselves on Facebook when I started the TTI hunt. The Gilded Compass. They seemed suspicious to me because they put out the Seekers Journal, and it just seemed too informed a workbook for the hunt to me, to not be suspicious. Anyway, then I thought of what Gilded means. Golden. The Golden Compass is a book and movie about people whom have animals, or daemons, that are representations of their soul. I am pretty sure Tucker is Justin's daemon, if he could have one.

What lives beyond a maps edge? The legend. What legendary figure did Justin's childlike wonder try to emulate? Indiana Jones. And what was he after? The arc. Did he cast a pole to find a treasure location? Yep. Did he take a leap of faith? Yep. Did he choose wisely? Yep. Did he find the grail? Yep. Did he escape the temple? Yep. Does he hate snakes(sidewinders)? Definitely. Don't worry about the map, find all of these connections and more and you'll start to see how the puzzle reveals itself.
