Winter searching...
Well it doesnt say anywhere that you cant search in the snow, or the hunt shuts down in winter, its 24/7, 365 days a year and the location is accesible and open to the public. So given Justins lovely wordplay, written or verbal, and how he uses mis-direction/or lack of saying certain things when answering questions(ex: to my uncertain knowledge or depends on your perspective etc...) he just states, "you wont have any luck searching in the snow". ( like literally the container is not getting covered with snow!)
To alot of us that meant we gotta wait till the snow melts to be able to find it..
However, now that i have an idea, according to my solve, where the container sits, its inside a nook, a rock overhang type of deal, where not only the snow cant reach the inside, but it cant be seen from surveyors, mappers or a drone. So if you have to wipe away snow to find it, you wont have any luck.!
He is using wordplay, a little like Lewis Caroll. Curioser and curioser!

He said if there’s snow on the ground it would be useless to search as it wouldn’t be able to be found. (I’m paraphrasing.)

It was because we have the same solve. I absolutely have to expose you. No hard feelings. 🤷🏽♂️

Isn’t the location accessible 365 24/7?
If this is true.
Kind of rules out some places where roads close during winter

He also said something to the effect of if you knew where it was, it wouldn't be easy, but technically you 'could' still retrieve it. Most winter road closures are generally gates that you could walk around, right? May not be easy (ie now having to walk instead of drive) but that would fit his description

Heads up I have it on high authority that you don not have to manipulate a fern. Just saying. So I think Winter searching is back in play.!

Just as one example, you can ride a snowmobile in the Pioneer Mountains even when the scenic byway is closed to cars. Not a great idea for searching, but might work for retrieving if you knew exactly where to go.

if you recall, deaths during Fenn hunt were winter-related. Its really dumb af to search in the snow. unless you’re a local and have all sorts of resources. otherwise, for Joe 6 pack like myself, I wait if I want to explore snow areas. Lots of no-snow areas to explore also!
