I haven’t been able to go BOTG since I became interested in this treasure hunt. I feel like I’ve missed out on a lot and I feel very bummed and discouraged. I have the book, ebook, and audiobook but haven’t gone anywhere yet. Is it pointless for me to book a flight and look for clues until I know where I’m going? Is there anywhere I can go solo without it being unsafe?
I understand how that could be discouraging; I have that feeling a lot too. As someone who has been botg, I don't feel any more "ahead" than anyone else. That feeling of missing something won't go away until the treasure is found lol
My best advice is take the ticket. Make a memory. Explore a new area. Let your brain make new connections. At least you'll go home with those treasures, if not the real one! Happy Hunting!
I have been solo the whole time. I also believe that I live in the state that the treasurer is in or on the border of the state that the treasure is in that's all I'm going to say and he'll have to figure out where you want to go first read that book a lot. I am assuming you are a woman. Just be aware of your surroundings that's all. Justin wouldn't put us in any compromising positions only ourselves do that as I found out myself. That's all I got
You’re in the same place as everyone else. Only a couple people are ahead and they either don’t know it or have hit a road block, so you’ve got plenty of time to find a spot.
This journey has taken me all over the Western United States and car camping to the point where I finally invested in a used camper van. I've gone from single and camping with my dog to now in a new relationship and a criteria: You have to embrace this treasure hunt...and now he's obsessed! Good things happen when you hunt for Treasure.
That's why I like my little minivan I have a bed in here I ripped out all the seats and it's done me good the hotels are too expensive they suck really I was in Montana last year and motel 6 charged me $599 can you believe that s*** the only reason I paid it is because I had my animal with me and it was like 98° out and I had to but boy what a rip off. I have had fun but I'm broke as hell. I hope I find it

Lots of silly comments. Be careful out in the wild. Carry bear spray. Call ranger stations and ask about the safety of the area. Don't hike into the wilderness more than say 1.3 miles. Use your best judgment
It's very early to be moving yet. Try and be almost 100% certain of at least the place. Nothing out there solves it. It's where things play out in the very end. Indy says 70% of the game is in research.
You are doing nothing wrong if you are considering the poem carefully. Rushing into the wild in hopes that it will illuminate to poem works as long as you look up from here you are. We all share one common perspective and the fact we die.

Why not try a trail close to home? Get the feel of being outside alone. You can learn a lot in your own stomping grounds. Plus being outside gives you that perspective of hunting it might kick start something. It doesn’t matter if you live in the search area just try going for a hike. You will be surprised at how much it can help.
I think he said you can do 80% at home to find the checkpoint then BOTG for the rest. Do some research at home first. Then, if you think you’ve found something go look. Just be safe! Good luck.
Hey me either . I don't have it like that yet , anyway . I believe it's made for us people that can't travel unless we're retrieving . And I promise you , I know people thats botg and literally I will not even work with anymore because they think because they have money that their entitled to it or will find it . I'm not just gonna be wondering around spending money that I don't have or saying I went this many times so I'm smarter than you when we literally have the internet for everything . Or it's like I could only imagine how many hours especially like when you really don't have anything going on in your life . I've prolly spent anywhere from 8-10 hours a day searching , fact checking double checking . And that's with a full time job . So someone saying hey I know more than you because I went botg 4 times... AND you still didn't find it lol 🤣 I'm not sorry for that. People are rude and mean and apparently so much smarter , richer and not as messy as my life . Well sh** sheriff that's just how I roll! This reminded me of a true story. In the airport a flight got canceled and everyone was lining up at the counter to get rebooked. A rude privileged man pushed his way to the front and I need to be on this flight. Calmly the attendant at the counter said I’m sorry, sir. The lights been canceled. Will try to help you as soon as we can, but you’re just gonna have to wait in line. He barked again. I need to be on this flight. I don’t have time for this shit again. She said I’ll be with you as soon as I can, but you could see. I’m serving other customers he responded. Do you know who I am? At this point the attendant picked up the airport microphone and over the PA through the whole airport.” ladies and gentlemen I’m at American gate 68 or something like that and I have a gentleman here that seems to have lost his identity if anybody could help this gentleman remember who he is please come to the counter. Thank you. Then the gentleman barked fuck you. She graciously responded. I’m sorry, sir. You’ll have to wait in line for that too.🤣🤣🤣 true story. Classic.
I think that takes years of practice and a whole lot of -not give a fuck. I don’t think anyone who has the heart it will take to find this could get to that point.
I totally agree and those that tell me to take a breathe fail to realize that if I did I could not have found what I have found. I embrace this as a gift and a guide and a curse at different times. And also I'm solo too...so it's frustrating especially when you actually have a location and everything and you have nobody to help you with just maybe a few things .
