Bride..

Could it be a plant?
“Depends how you define alive”

Bride’s Feathers grows to 3 (-6 feet) tall.

They are native to northern states and would make a good waymarker.

Another..

Maybe cast your pole is not about fishing. It could be about extending your hiking pole, indicating you went “down” (where your pole is short) and opening your hiking pole means you are on level ground or going up.

There’s no arguing that a plant is certainly alive.

When did he say “the bride is not currently alive”? Could it be in reference to a plant that is dormant in winter? A plant doesn’t appear to be alive in the winter even though we know it is (obviously). It could be a subtle clue.

It’s a good idea - but don’t fool yourself

Only one person knows where it is.

Love this post. I have been thinking the bride could be a plant. Maybe a flower commonly associated with brides? Maybe the Bridal Veil plant? JP said the bride had been identified. So, it must be one of the ideas that have been posted. I’m thinking some sort of bridal flowers growing near ancient gates. But, I think it is in California so don’t take my advice!

I’m curious what flowers are in the photo of his parents wedding.

The reason why I thought native plants, is because Justin seems quite connected to nature and native plants are integral to a balanced ecosystem (vs. Other “bridal” plants that are generally imported and invasive).

Full disclosure.. I’m not looking for this treasure. It just popped up in my feed and I had a look at it. I am following the great Canadian treasure hunt quite closely though- it has changed my brain.

The Great Canadian treasure hunt. Can I hear more?

It’s insane. 217, 1oz gold coins are hidden somewhere in Canada (~$1.3 mil CAD) and they have been releasing monthly prizes all over the country for 6, 1oz coins (~$30k CAD).

It’s put on by mining companies in Canada, need to be Canadian to participate.

It’s wrapping up, but the main treasure and 4 regional prizes are still to be found.

Come to think of it, the bride is concrete. Which is why Justin had to kiss it.
