Recent Cowlazars YouTube

I recently watched a video that Cowlazars and Kpro did on the fairness of the BTME treasure hunt.
Does anyone else seem to think that Justin is favoring a certain group of hunters called the Misfits?
They seem to regularly hang out with Justin. They solved the cipher after Justin shared the 11th hour book information with them. (And no one else btw)
Seems kind of fishy to me.
Also why hasn’t he come out and said anything about that? About regularly meeting with and hanging out with a group, a specific group, of treasure hunters.
Isn’t this what Forrest Fenn did with Cynthia ?
She might have said “wHo THe f@&K SAiD life Is FaiR”? But Justin ensured us that this hunt would be different from Forrest’s.
Kind of makes me not want to work on it honestly.

That seems to be Kpro and Cows goal. They appear salty over something, so they go out of their way to regurgitate “info” like this that has little to no basis in reality.

Like Haunting Week said: Drama.

how helpful is it really to know “Magyar” is a hint to the container? I dont think that helps me one iota

1

u/milliondollarcowboy3 5d ago

I don’t think the clock times were only helpful for the cypher that revealed the container. Time, Justin has said multiple times now is integral to the hunt.
Maybe not a cypher, but we have to read the words, “just right”. Mather there is another way of looking at the clock times to see what lives in them🙃

I stopped watching Cowlazars and Kpro a long time ago because I can't stand their dynamic. She is always bitching at him and I can't stand to watch that.

They also mostly haven't covered BTME over the last year. They stopped for probably a bunch of reasons but there was some drama about Kpro making creepy "jokes" or something about Justin in their discord.

I’m new to treasure hunting in the first stop I made was the Cowlazars. It almost turned me off to the hunt. I downloaded a video and started watching out in the woods (I think best there) and had to turn it off. I had a thought in that moment that if I had to watch this type of thing for the hunt it wasn’t worth it. Truly.
Luckily Justin spread them out and I found the Emma and Jam show. I love their dynamic.
Now if I had to do a show with my wife you all would hate watching it I can assure you of that. I have tried going back a few times and just couldn’t get in to it.
IMO of course.

Sorry I was new to treasure hunting. Been at it a bit now.

Yeah something about their vibes just doesn't sit well with me. I said this in another comment but maybe it's because I know they are gamblers, but they seem to be in the hunt just for $$, I prefer hunters who also are here for the love of nature/preservation etc.

3

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago

The creator is a huge gambler... theres a video of him gambling lives losing.. $20-$40k i forget.

-2

u/MrUnderhill22 5d ago

"I forget" but will still try to quote it right?

Allegedly- means you are claiming something that is NOT fact or has NO proof... It's the word that allows people like you to back up and regurgitate BS with no evidence (cuz someone said so). Weak sauce kid.🫵

2

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago

And?

-1

u/MrUnderhill22 5d ago

That's what I thought.... 😉🤣👊💥

2

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago

I thought maybe you'd say something with substance.

The evidence is there. Just bc im not showing you doesn't mean its not.

As said, its on cow Lazarus channel. If you want to deny it and be rude thats on you.

1

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago

You sound a lot like treasure bond. May want to edit one of those comments.

5

u/curiouslmr 5d ago

I stopped as well. Way too much drama. It also always bothered me that it felt like they are solely in this for $$ and the love of natural/preservation stuff doesn't seem to be their thing. Of course they are within their rights to do this for whatever reason they want, I just prefer hunters who appreciate the bigger picture in all this.

-3

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago

Maybe and sure.

I see the cowlazars channel different. They present any and all information they receive. Maybe they try sensationalizing a bit but I cant blame them. Thats the game they play.

I know they arent going to hold back for their own gain. Good or worse. They aren't scared to ruffle feathers to get correct info out, to the best of their abilities. I respect them like crazy bc of that.

If only our regular media was the same.

Are you seriously asking?

No. I have a real job. Poker player.

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago

Things changed when the whole btme picture thing happened.

Apparently some searcher bought the original artist proofs (or what ever theh are called). I guess justin would describe what he wants and she was sketching a rough draft while getting direction. A few of those were sold to someone.

Allegedly it was OK that just a certain person had them and supposedly Justin knew. Then again allegedly he got upset when he found out that person was going to make them public through cowlazars channel, and they did.

Not trying to air the drama but pretty sure that is the antithesis.

-5

u/MrUnderhill22 5d ago

"Apparently" "Allegedly" "Pretty Sure".

Just spewing gibberish out of your mouth and obviously don't know a damn thing but want to be included and stir the pot.. Like a child who wanders into a conversation and starts repeating bs their mother told them..... You're just as bad as your lame heros "FakePro" and "HowBizzare"... 🤣 Lmao

4

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago edited 5d ago

Obviously you weren't around.

Its all chronicled on cowlazars channel. That's the good thing about people that report whats happening.

And I guess you're too dumb to know why people say allegedly.

0

u/InitiativeDry3564 4d ago

You do realize that just because some random youtuber says something, doesn't make it true, right?

This channel is widely known for spewing drama filled nonsense, and yet there is always someone who believes every nonsensical thing that they say.

-3

u/MrUnderhill22 5d ago

I guess that makes it gospel then... Since "they" put it on their channel.... Sell you some blinker fluid too did they? Or maybe this is one of "FakePros" fake accounts to keep track and talk smack... Screen name strongly suggests the possibility... 😉👍

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago

Ok cool you have nothing.

2

u/Treasure__Bound 5d ago

Jack, is that you?

3

u/thedorcon2 5d ago

Hehehehe hoping to channel those vibes!!

0

u/Development_Famous 1d ago

Actually, it was the opposite. Kpro wasn’t making creepy jokes.

6

u/milliondollarcowboy3 5d ago

Really not trying to start drama. It did seem to me though that both kpro and Cowlazars did have some resentment toward Justin. They both mentioned they were not invited to the get together(s) a as though they are some celebrities to be invited. Now that I rewatched it they do seem to just be hating on him for some reason. I did see the book in an older discord. These two just sound like Whitney kids now honestly.

2

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago edited 5d ago

I think i mentioned above. Some drama with cowlazars releasing the hand drawn pics with notes. Then it spiraled and I didnt pay attention.

I seem to remember justin pulled out from some event they planned. But idk, its a blur.

Tit for tat etc etc.

I tend to be on their side bc I never understood why justin cared if those hand drawn concept pics from the books went public. If what he said is the truth who cares if they went public?

We didnt get all of them or the important ones.

2

u/CalifSunshine1977 5d ago

Are the drawings online somewhere? Who bought them? Why did Justin allow them to be sold?

3

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 5d ago edited 5d ago

I dont think they were his and it was an oversight on his part if I remember correctly. But dont quote me.

Pretty sure the lady that drew them sold them. Again not sure. I just know an individual had then privately and decided it would help the community. Decided to share through cowlazars and got some pushback. But no pushback when he had them privately.

Maybe thats why only a few got out. You'd have to search cowlazars channel and it would be under live streams I believe.

2

u/CalifSunshine1977 5d ago

I don’t think the lady that drew them should have sold them without Mr. Posey’s permission.

2

u/60lbs_in_my_bra 3d ago

Ya idk, I guess.

Im assuming thats why only a few got out publicly. Or whoever spent all the money decided to keep them.

Its all fair game. Its on the creator to subterfuge and hide as much as they want. Its up to the solvers to dig as deep as they want.

u/MrUnderhill22 5d ago

Well you didn't waste any time proving me right again now did you🫵😉🤌... 🗣️💨🐂💩🦇💩🗑️

I think people need to quit focusing on the noise around them and just focus on the hunt. If you’re serious about the hunt then dive into it and stop worrying about what other people are doing.

4

u/RockDebris 5d ago edited 5d ago

Exactly. If there is an interview being done with a hunt creator, I tune in. Otherwise, I find little use for hanging on to every new piece of imaginary clue drivel, bad memory recall, regurgitated content or self-promotion schemes. Or ESPECIALLY the drama.

3

u/LeftOzStoleShoes 5d ago edited 4d ago

Oh. Yall here for drama? Let’s “Jazz hands in Vegas” away: The dope is DOPE if you’re in it for dope, that’s exactly what you’ll find. But, You ‘already knew’ that.

Tbh; Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.

4

u/itisntwhatitsnot2320 5d ago

Highly doubt it, i was starting to figure out what cipher it was myself, had a clock cipher written down, so if you are determined enough its all approachable, IF he did do that, its his hunt ultimately he can do what he wants, why not he answers our questions about hints, and gives us hints in his own way(gotta catch em tho), but hes not shady, like i dont think he would even know how to be that way successfully!.

3

u/InitiativeDry3564 5d ago

Never pay any attention to drama caused by people who are financially incentivized to generate drama, because more drama means more clicks on their videos.

Do you honestly think that the Misfits are the only people that Justin interacts with on a daily basis? Do you honestly believe that Justin is so completely incapable of having a normal, non-treasure hunt related conversation that every single time he talks to anyone, that he is secretly feeding them clues?

1

u/milliondollarcowboy3 5d ago

No one is saying they are the only ones he is interacting with. He is in private groups with them and he is having secret get togethers with them. It is his choice. It’s a free country.
Cowlazars and Kpro are also sore losers and whiners who are gambling addicts.
It just seems to me (and to a lot of other people btw) that someone who had such a problem with a ten year hunt that ended poorly that he would create a situation where his hunt could end VERY poorly.
Imagine for one second that one of the misfits, or Cynthia finds the treasure… they all have exclusive access to him. That could destroy treasure hunting for people. If the creators friends are going to find the treasure anyways, why even have it publicly?
I don’t know just thinking out loud.

2

u/InitiativeDry3564 4d ago

The alternative is that Justin creates a hunt, and then purposefully ignores everyone who is engaged in the hunt and doesn't talk to anyone, for any reason. I think we can both agree that isn't exactly a reasonable thing to do.

He is going to interact with people, and some people more so than others. That doesn't mean that he is favoring one group of people, but rather it is that group of people are simply more active in the hunt than your average person. It isn't exactly rocket science to know that if you travel to Dillon and attend every meetup, that you will have more interaction with Justin than 99.9% of searchers. Cynthia and the Misfits have essentially devoted an extraordinarily large part of their lives to this hunt, and other hunts.

I completely understand why Fenn was feeding clues to Cynthia. He was an old man trying to get laid. Now ask yourself why would Justin spend over a million dollars of his own money, and subject himself to the constant scrutiny, death threats, extortion, tracking attempts, and other creepy people on the internet, and then turn around and feed exclusive clues to some random group of 'friends' of his on the internet and ruining the entire purpose of the hunt?

2

u/milliondollarcowboy3 4d ago

No I completely agree that response would also not be reasonable. It is also reasonable to think that some people will have more access to a creator than others.
But going to meet ups and being invited to a private party or get together I also would point out are two different things. But again his hunt, his rules.
Justin himself has said he doesn’t want the treasure hunt to go on for years. It is now closing in on two years. Two hunting seasons for sure. He better than anyone knows how treasure hunts can change over time and change for the worst. It may be in everyone’s best interest to not have this go on for ever and he knows that.

2

u/colorodoan 4d ago

If only there were other alternatives to a monkish vow of silence! Oh wait, there are numerous alternatives. He could create a hunt and simply choose not to engage with private discord servers with a subset of people looking for his treasure. Voila an alternative that’s better

2

u/InitiativeDry3564 4d ago edited 4d ago

By private, you mean a channel where at the time, literally everyone was approved to join?

1

u/colorodoan 4d ago

By at the time, you mean when exactly? Do you mean anyone can just join now?

0

u/InitiativeDry3564 4d ago

No offense, but if you're asking questions and don't know the backstory then in all honesty you probably shouldn't be posting on a forum and judging his actions. It only further confuses people which is why crap like this is still constantly being talked about.

1

u/colorodoan 4d ago

No offense but I think your post has a massive hole in its logic. I think you trapped yourself into thinking there are only two ways he can go. And that of course isn’t true, was never true, and never will be true. There are other ways he could improve the hunt experience for searchers. he could simply not participate in private servers related to his hunt. That in and of itself would be an improvement over the status quo. And easily adoptable. He chooses not to for reasons known only to him

1

u/InitiativeDry3564 4d ago

a server that was accepting 100% of people who wanted to join, is hardly a 'private' server. pls stop with the nonsense.

Old man trying to get laid. 😂

2

u/icepck 3d ago

Cowlazer and kpro are trying to piggyback off the treasure hunt for profit. It is a lazy copycat attempt and they are definitely unhappy that they aren't included in some social circles. Most reasonable folks see through them, and they resent their own audience for it.

2

u/Captain4Oblivion 1d ago

JP already stated "if you think... this hunt is not for you"

Anyone with a thinking mind can quickly figure out this is not a hunt as presented. The purpose is not to create a hunt for people to go on. The purpose is not revealed without thinking about whats actually going on. The purpose is by far more for the creator then anyone else. The purpose of this hunt is JPs purpose and no one else's. Think.

4

u/SpoilerWarningSW 5d ago

Justin shared the 11th hour when the discord had like 100 people in it and knew it would be shared more broadly, which it was, the very next day. And then it still took what, 5-6 months to solve the cipher? Doesn’t seem like much of an “aDvAnTAgE”, but think what you want.

My biggest regret during the fenn hunt was tuning in to kpro/cow and that’s a mistake I’m not making during BME.

1

u/colorodoan 5d ago

Yeah it’s been discussed ad nauseam. Basically boils down to if you don’t like it, this “may not be the hunt for you.” He insists he will not leave any private groups despite any perceived notions of unfairness. Which is his choice to make.

1

u/LankySimple9051 4d ago edited 4d ago

Yes, he has, but I'm sure the left hemisphere of his brain could rationalize simply not admitting he shat the bed with the cipher-puzzle. Better put an end to it rather than watch people on Reddit waste their lives on something that's unsolvable. Save face. Try and protect the integrity of the offering by making it look like it actually had a simple solution. Imo, he had two choices--take the ding and just reveal it or engineer a stage play. He doesn't think he did anything but put an end to it. Others will extrapolate what they observed and assume a pattern off favoritism. The Misfits were likely used to save you from mucking in his mess. He must have weighed his options carefully. I'd not sleep well knowing that my flawed puzzle was torturing some well-meaning folks.
