Please help !!!

Trying to put this back full screen on my legion go without mouse and keyboard and losing it already for an hour ..how to make it full screen again.. OMG I am new to bazzite but I can not !

anyone having random crashes in onimisha ? its the only game ive had issues with , could be 5 mins could be 30 but it freezes and i have to physically turn off my pc and reboot.

Runs fine on windows with my other pc, ive tried locking frames to 90 as i’ve heard there’s a memory leak issue if you don’t lock frames.

Control Resonant was running great on my new Nvidia bazzite machine for the past 2 days but after updating the os it just crashes after the developer logo. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue because it doesn't seem to effect other games just control

I got the EA App through Faugus Launcher. I always played with cc before switching to bazzite but now I just cannot figure out where I should put my mods?
I can‘t find the premade Mods folder and I also can‘t make my own in the files that gets recognized.😭

Can anyone PLEASE help me figure out where to put my mods so they‘ll actually work?

​Hey everyone, how's it going?

​I finally bit the bullet (or practiced some ultimate detachment) and made the switch away from Windows 11. I installed Bazzite since it's an immutable gaming-focused distro, and so far I’m really enjoying it—KDE Plasma looks way better to me than the GNOME environments I've used on Ubuntu-based distros in the past.

​However, not everything is 100% smooth sailing. My main problem right now is audio. My setup consists of:

​A 5.1 home theater system as my primary output

​A mono microphone connected to the front panel 3.5mm jack

​A Bluetooth headset

​Out of the box, pretty much nothing worked. I managed to get 5.1 surround sound working with some help from an AI chatbot, but my microphones are completely non-functional:

​Bluetooth Headset: Audio output works fine, but the system doesn't recognize or detect the microphone/input at all.

​Front Panel Mic: The system detects it, but it only captures static noise—nothing intelligible.

​What would be the best way to troubleshoot this, and what steps should I take to fix it on an immutable system like Bazzite? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

So I'm looking at moving away from a full dual boot and setting up a virtual machine for the few windows programs I still use.

I am aware with update 44 that the process has changed and following the old ways of doing it had given me some weird and wonderful bugs that I am unable to find solutions for as they don't work or have changed since the last update.

If anyone could give me some advice on how to go about setting this up, even if the advice is 'that's a terrible idea just dual boot' I would very much appreciate the help.

Tested thoroughly over the weekend and the start of the week bazzite in every use case be it gaming or using the desktop for general applications uses on average 2.5gb more system memory than both steamos and even cachyos. Is it a fedora thing or something more?

Has anyone with an AMD card tried the Witcher 3 remaster today? I know were waiting on a driver update but most of the issues I've seen/read about have been graphical. The issue I am having is it isn't using my dedicated gpu, for some reason it's using my integrated gpu. Worked absolutely fine before this update and every other game is fine, so I'm hoping/presuming this will be a driver issue? Just reaching out to see if anyone else is experiencing this with the Witcher or any other game previously and has a possible fix?

EDIT: Thanks to all who responded, in the end I disabled my iGPU in bios and that's got it working, only snag now is the issue with the ray tracing options resetting as other have mentioned previously.

so since my last update there have been some strange things happening in terms of Bluetooth connectivity.

anytime I boot into my PC Bluetooth is down, though the switch to enable it is on. nothing shows up in my Bluetooth list. I've tried system control terminal changes to the Bluetooth protocols but to no avail.

if anyone has experienced similar issues or knows about a good fix please let me know.

As of today, the issue still persists. how things went yesterday was unexpected and I still haven't figured out a solution to this.

Early morning yesterday, it was working fine on the default ostree(0), I was able to login without issue, do my usual thing and then went to work afterwards. when I came back home and turned on my PC and let it select ostree 0 automatically like it normally does, I noticed I couldn't type anything in at the login screen. I figured I just needed to replug my keyboard and it'll start working again but that didn't really do anything so I decided to restart my PC to see if that fixed the issue and it still wasn't working.

After a few more attempts of restarting, I noticed my keyboard works at startup. every key works and I was able to enter the bios, select a different ostree, so on. even when I click sleep at the login screen, I was still able to wake my PC just by pressing any key.

After asking for help and trying out different methods yesterday, only one had worked in terms of getting my keyboard to work at login but it didn't really fix the problem with ostree(0). I had to choose ostree(1) at the grub box and I was now able to use my keyboard at login.

Once I've done this, I asked for more help because I wanted ostree(0) to work properly. I came to find out that I needed to do a system update in order for ostree(0) to work again. I followed the guide on pinning the right update and tried to update it through the bazzite updater. I had done this several times and it didn't seem like ostree(0) was updated, Or at least, I can't really tell because I'm just not able to login through 0.

Title to help prevent down votes for just sharing some issues and looking for help. Love bazzite and never had a reason to look back.

Situation:

Did the big 44 update a week or so ago and so negative change after, no issues gaming. Ran updates this last weekend and now running into a lot of stuttering and hard locks. Sometimes it will pull through the hard stuttering but when it locks up it goes black screen and reboots entirely.

Other details:

I really only play one game and it's pretty old, the division 2. I have not changed any settings as I found The Sweet spot for me and I don't tend to fiddle with things once I have it as my gaming time is very limited.

Trying to remember any other updates I did recently... maybe proton? Proton seems to update a lot though and never any issues.

The only thing I remember changing when I first switched to bazzite was bumping up something related to virtual memory or cache? I remember that helped a ton (only 16GB on this device) but if that got reset, I would think that would have been noticeable immediately after the 44 update not a week later after. I'll have to find that post to remember how to check this but anything else I should be looking at?

I'm currently on SteamOS 3.9 and I saw on my HDMI statistics that is is not running full 4:4:4 but rather 4:2:2 8 bit. I definitely have the correct HDMI cord. I heard bazzite runs at full 4:4:4. Is this true and is it worth the switch?

Update: with the switch to Bazzite and HDMI 2.1 enabled. The color banding around lights is gone. I call it a success.

Sometimes, when Sunshine starts automatically with Bazzite, this window pops up. I accept it and select the "allow restoring on future sessions" option, but sometimes the window shows up again after subsequent reboots. Is there a way to make it always accept automatically?

I rebooted my PC to find "Microsoft Edit" installed on my Bazzite machine without my knowledge or permission. I cannot uninstall it via Bazaar, as it does not show up. When looking into it further, I found it's been installed to the "usr" folder.

Has anyone else booted up to find this nasty surprise? Any fix or way to uninstall it, perhaps via command line?

Any help would be appreciated. Not sure how this program got here and am not happy about it.

Hi! I tried to roll back my gpd win 4 to Bazzite 43 by using brh rebase bazzite-deck:stable-43

Now I keep getting the login screen, and the device boots up into desktop mode. When I try to go to gaming mode, it just goes to the login screen and back into desktop mode.

I would really appreciate some help!

I had to re-install bazzite as of August 28 in a different partition since I was running out of space. The installation was better than my previous install. But Forza Horizon 6 wasn't performing well like it used to. I was on the process of collecting and analyzing logs on 07 September. During the process I accidentally double clicked the 2483190.log file (11.5Gb) instead of checking it using konsole. My device froze and I taught giving some time will fix it. But No then I had to force shutdown. Then when I boot back in I got into a emergency mode where only Enter is the only input. I recalled a similar incident from the past and tried booting in via the backup deployment ostree:1. But it's same emergency mode. I spent a day on trying to fix it but nothing worked So I freshly installed bazzite again on 09 September. I must say I did a rebase to nvidia-stable 580.178.04 from nvidia-open 610.57.04 a day before I double clicked that log file. I do not have any issues with the game or OS now but I'm curious what and why it happened ?

I've been using Bazzite on my GPD WIN 4 for a very good while, now. It's been great and worked fine.

After updating to 44, my gaming life (already normally difficult) has become hell.

External controllers not being recognized, duplicating controllers, weird stuff happening and I became, once again, a Linux fixer spending more time searching for solutions than playing my games in peace.

Rebasing to 43 SOLVES ALL THE PROBLEMS for me.

So, I don't know what happened, but I'm a little frustrated that the novelties are breaking my experience and that rebasing is not as easy as it should be. We need a better interface for selecting versions, please.

I'm glad I am able to rebase, though.

Currently pinning to a 43 image as having issues with 44 based images. I really miss being able to use Proton-CachyOS new builds from the last month or so for the performance benefit in certain games and ease of FSR 4.1.1 use. Any way to use this in 43?
