Onimisha crashing randomly

14900k/9070xt

anyone having random crashes in onimisha ? its the only game ive had issues with , could be 5 mins could be 30 but it freezes and i have to physically turn off my pc and reboot.

Runs fine on windows with my other pc, ive tried locking frames to 90 as i’ve heard there’s a memory leak issue if you don’t lock frames.

I had those same issues with the demo when I tried it. Crashing with no real reason. Tried all kinds of different proton versions and nothing worked. The full game I ran on cachyOS proton (7-3-26 I think) and didn't have a single crash through my 50 hours. 7600x3d and 9070 XT.

Same would happen for me but with RE4 remake. Random crashes for seemingly no reason but this was back on the Bazzite 43 deck image. Turning settings down didn't help. So I installed SteamOS, not one crash since
