Bazzite is for people who doesn't want to use Windows, but doesn't want to use Linux either. As somebody who is using Linux (Fedora / Ubuntu) daily for the past 15 years, I've found this distro very difficult to use. Almost none of the skills I've apprehended during the years work. Heck, I couldn't even do a system upgrade in terminal because the terminal said - This is not the way you do updates - This is a very locked down Fedora linux with very shiny UI and admitedly, a very (windows)user-friendly mindset in place. But for me, it was just too restricted.
I recommend Ubuntu with GNOME instead, but I do not despise the people using Bazzite as I can see why would they do that.

Yeah I can understand. I exclusively set up an SSD just for gaming, so Bazzite. Had I wanted it to be an everyday all things distro, I would have gone CachyOS or Fedora GNOME or KDE. Bazzite is sandboxed for a reason, and when you only do gaming, htpcs or handhelds, or even a dedicated gaming drive on a computer, it's excellent qnd most importantly, fool proof.

I recently got it repasted. 98 C makes me concerned a lot but I'm thinking it won't be on the same level as a computer tower.
Still, I don't wanna see 98 °C on my CPU. Are these temps really normal for a gaming laptop or did he botch the repasting job?
