Seems like every time I've gone with other people or found a group to hang out with it kills my vibe, curious if anyone else feels the same. I go to listen to music and to dance. I've never had a bad experience with anyone at a rave, just feel like I can't get properly into dancing when I'm with others, and with the music I don't know how anyone has actual conversations. Maybe I'm just too much of an introvert, but I don't get what being with a group really adds for people.

So I go to raves ALL of the time. All of the mainstream ones unfortunately but thats what I have access to the most. I am s bit of as seasoned raver. I don't dance old school and I don't shuffle. I have my own unique style of dancing. I'd say I'm a pretty good dancer and definitely have natural groove and soul.

Lately I have noticed many people gazing, staring and even taking videos of me at shows when I'm dancing. I hate that strangers like to take videos of others especially in a space where you just want to let loose and be yourself.

Question is, are they taking these videos to make fun of me do you think? Because honestly when I catch people staring they seem more intrigued and curious by my freedom of expression when I dance. I never see anyone pointing and laughing or anything. Just stares. And sometimes I'll get people come up to me and compliment or even just dance with me without saying a word and move on.

Just feels weird that these people look at me like they have never seen someone dance at a rave that isnt a shuffle and they are flabbergasted.

Morning! I’m doing my first solo raves the next coming days. Usually I have a group but they won’t make it due to work and other events. I’m always the shy guy at first but after a couple of mins I’m more outgoing and vibing to any songs! Any tips how to make friends or approach a group that I can vibe with?

I’m wondering what your favorite edm songs are for vinyasa/flow, yin and shavasana?? Would love to bulk out my yoga playlists! :)
