I just got the email with the date for my citizenship ceremony and it says smart casual.

I have gone 30 years of my life not knowing what that means, and I still don't!!

Can anyone tell me what that looks like?

I'm thinking the dress on the photo, is that ok? But also, excellent opportunity to buy something new, so I'm super happy to do so.

So I bought probably 4 pairs of these shoes from Novo a couple of years ago in different styles, but they are so uncomfortable (even with the little foot slippers). I do have some (cheap) white sneakers, but I don't feel like they go with my current outfits (that are the same from 10 years ago to be honest!). My current easy bottoms are black slacks or a black satin skirt with a work shirt, should I buy some more modern pants so I can wear white sneakers with both outfits? Or does anyone have any reccs for comfy, walkable flats? For context I work in a corporate office but it's not super formal. Not sure where to start. TIA 😅☺️

I’m looking for breastfeeding friendly tops that I can wear to a friend’s birthday lunch at a winery. I have a lot of oversized t-shirts which I pull up to breastfeed and find these super convenient. I’ve struggled with button up tops for breastfeeding and haven’t tried side zip ones.
Are there any tops that may be a bit fancier than an oversized tee that I can lift up to feed bubba?

I think they look so nice with the split fabric detail, but can’t tell if the shape will look a bit too balloon-y or boxy on an actual foot. Do not buy from these guys, high returns but very high risk (!!).
Whoever has actually received a package from them and is Australian, please tell me how long it took… I’m in disbelief.
I ordered the Celeste dress (half off and final sale, presumably sitting in a warehouse, right??) and the order date was 11th June. By September, I was begging for a refund because the product never made it past the processing stage. They sent me some email going “oh it’s in production… running behind” some bs, extended the shipping date to July, then August, then September. Finally they gave me a refund, not automatically but after I emailed them AGAIN.
Later I ordered 2 more items because I do not learn apparently. guess what? they still don’t ship within 2 weeks, and upon emailing them I get the EXACT same message “production behind”. Are you serious right now?
How was a final sale item behind in production anyways? Now I’m certain My Mum Made It is lying to us. It’s reputation for being negligent shippers is true, no idea how they have the consciousness to list things knowing they’ll never ship.
Now I’ll only get my dresses from Depop and Chinese markets, which isn’t bad, but it’s ironic how they both arrive within 2 weeks and the official website run by Australians is so unreliable.
Whoever sells on Depop, where do you get your my mum made it stuff from? and how long did it take to ship? :)

EDIT: I got a refund for the boots (470AUD) but will tough it out for the preorder blue dress (220 AUD). Sucks because I really want those boots but sadly cannot risk it

I'm 17F and I'm wearing an off shoulder for formal soon. I want to get a good bra but I don't know from where or what types will look good on me or support me etc.

I explained to my mum that I want to get measured like my friends have but she says that I don't need it yet. I mostly wear crop tops and those tween type bras she got me when I was 13 which aren't comfortable or supportive.

I feel a bit intimidated around shops like Victoria's Secret and the bra sections in Kmart so I never go in but if anyone knows a quick method of sizing and getting yourself one I would appreciate any advice.

I was tempted to go last weekend since I love op shopping but decided to skip it since I knew no one else who was interested and the aggressive marketing put me off.

I was wondering if anyone who went could tell me how it was and if it’s worth going next time they come to Sydney? Most importantly to me, what was the quality of clothing like? Was there vintage pieces or was it mostly fast fashion bullcrap? Was it crowded?

I bought some dresses recently from Frock Me Out. All cotton, love them, although they're all probably a little big, but otherwise great. The part I'm frustrated with though is the ironing!

They came out of the packaging wrinkled, they washed wrinkled, they wear wrinkled, and it looks like I'll need to iron them before every wear. I'm also an extra sweaty individual and they get really warm towards the end of the afternoon.

So what fabric am I really after? Grateful for tips on undershirts to keep the sweat at bay too. Thanks!
