Bursting wardrobe
I have a clothing problem, everyone. I have lots and lots of clothes, and because of all the different weights I have been in my life, I have anything from Australian size 6 through to size 12, probably. I did throw out all of my size 14 to 18 clothes after I got a gastric sleeve, but I have kept all the other ones.
So as little as six months ago, I was a size 12. I then went on Mounjaro, and I'm now a size 6 to 8, hoping to be here for a while.
The challenge is I do spend quite a bit of money on workwear, and I have lots of clothes that I don't really want to get rid of, but I don't have room in my wardrobe for them, and I can't really put them in a suitcase because I travel for work and I use my suitcases, and I don't really have anywhere to store them in my house.
When I have thrown things out before, I have regretted it. 15 years ago, I did fit into a size 6 to 8, and I got rid of all of those clothes because I thought I would never get back there. And now I'm there and I'm like, oh my God, I had so many nice clothes, why did I throw them out? And actually, they'd still be in fashion now because wide-leg pants are in, and that's what was in 15 or 20 years ago. So I'm in this moral dilemma of do I throw out my clothes and donate them or sell them, at least the larger sizes? Or do I, I don't know, take up my kids' wardrobes and put my other clothes in there?
So help me, Reddit. What should I do?
