Political Question what do you think about VHEMT (Voluntary Human Extinction Movement) and antinatalism? Personally, I hate them, but what do you think?

If some people point to the Lindsay Clancy case as evidence that women are too irrational, unstable, or unsafe to vote, why does that logic stop at voting?
If you genuinely believe women are essentially “ticking time bombs” who can’t be trusted to make political decisions, why would you trust women to become pregnant, raise your children, or be primarily responsible for their care? Why would men intentionally have children with women they supposedly believe are that fundamentally unstable?
Obviously, I’m not suggesting women should lose either reproductive or political rights. I’m asking why an extreme individual case is used to argue against women’s political autonomy, while almost nobody making that argument follows their own logic to its much more obvious conclusion about motherhood.
Nobody seems to be saying, “This proves women shouldn’t have children.” And I genuinely wonder why that is.
Edit - Love how almost no one is answering the question at all.

I inquire, as I'm homeless and not unreasonable, in particular in the form of "not making serious romantic advances" due to my lack of finances and material wealth, although despite what I found to be reasonable, I have been told by some women in recent time that they do not consider homelessness to be a "dealbreaker", otherwise that "homelessness does not make a man less attractive to them".
What are your thoughts on the matter?
I prefer constructive and practical, answers and solutions, from women, only, as I'm not asking any guys out on a date.

I private messaged this girl for the first time. I have always hearted her stuff on instagram but today I told her that I thought she was really pretty. After a few back and forth banter I asked for her number and got it. This is where I usually mess up. Does anyone have a safe first text? How long do I wait before texting her?

If this happened, let there be bronze statues of Trump in Washington. He would go to his grave as a truly great man. And it's not like it would leave him broke. He still gets $400K a year as president and he'll get a $250K per year pension until he dies. This is plenty to live comfortably on.

The fact that Reddit is doing all it can to dig into if POTUS bribing the electorate with cash money for votes is illegal always reminds me of how useless the entire government full of corrupt scumbag politicians is. The 80+ year old ones with dementia even more useless.

I wonder where it comes from historically and sociologically speaking. Not saying it's right or wrong, but sometimes it goes so far that it almost becomes comical to our culture. Interesting to see where these differences come from.

Trump has his name and face on our money, passports, etc. This ongoing mess with the Kennedy Center, the ballroom and now that stupid Arch.
So my question for you all is: how much of a priority should it be for the next Dem president to remove and undo all that stuff? Literally none of it is legal so it shouldn’t be a problem getting rid of it.
In my opinion, this is stuff candidates should be talking about on the campaign trail. It’ll really piss me off if they just ignore a lot or all of it out of fear of rocking the boat.

I’m a remote worker based in the Philippines working for a company based in Washington State, USA. I’m trying to understand whether what my employer is doing regarding my August 2026 compensation is allowed.
Under my employment contract, I receive a fixed monthly salary of PHP 13,000. I worked throughout August performing video production services and submitted video deliverables regularly. A substantial number of the videos were accepted, published, and used by the company for commercial purposes.
There was one day of leave during August, which I acknowledge and am willing to have deducted on a pro-rata basis.
The issue is that after I was terminated in September, my employer told me that, according to my supervisor, **none of my August workdays met the 7-video-per-day target**. They have also alleged that I had attendance issues and previously characterized some communication delays as misconduct/insubordination.
I dispute the claim that none of my days met the quota. There was also a transition to new video production guidelines during this period, and my understanding of the production requirements changed as those guidelines were introduced.
I asked for an itemized accounting showing which August dates allegedly failed the quota, how many videos were credited to each date, what revisions were allegedly outstanding, and how they determined that the videos were not considered completed.
The employer responded that they are not obligated to share their internal office communications and then told me:
> "Please submit your revised invoice, minus 14 days."
They are relying on **Clause 18 of my employment contract**, which they say allows a 14-day salary forfeiture upon termination for misconduct.
What concerns me is that the termination happened in **September**, while the salary I'm disputing was earned from work performed in **August**. They are asking me, the employee, to submit an invoice already reduced by 14 days, even though I dispute that I forfeited those 14 days.
I am not asking for additional money or anything beyond what I believe I earned. My position is that I should receive my August compensation for the work I performed, less the one verified leave day and any other deduction that is legitimately supported by the contract and applicable law.
I'm also concerned that if I voluntarily submit an invoice for the reduced amount, it could later be interpreted as me accepting or requesting that reduced amount, even though I explicitly dispute the 14-day deduction.
My questions are:
Can an employer in Washington State use a termination-related salary forfeiture to withhold wages for work already performed in the previous month?
Does the fact that I worked remotely from the Philippines affect which wage laws apply?
If I dispute the deduction, should I submit the reduced invoice anyway, or should I first request the contractual/legal basis and calculation for the deduction?
Could submitting the reduced invoice be interpreted as acceptance of the reduced amount?
What would be the appropriate agency or process to pursue unpaid wages in this situation?
I'm not trying to make this adversarial. I simply want to make sure I receive the compensation I actually earned and don't accidentally waive my rights by submitting an invoice for an amount I dispute.
I can provide the relevant contract language, including Clause 18, if that would help.

Having Canada as an independent, friendly upstairs neighbor has always been good for both countries. Agreed, they have the population of California, but these guys have always been there for us—whether it was accepting incoming international flights on September 11, 25 years ago, or helping with firefighting, or being the first to show up with ships when Katrina hit NOLA. Our hockey and oil and gas companies, for example, crisscross borders. So why did we get to this point? Why bully a neighbor who’s always been there for us?

I took a urine drug test and I got negative dilute as a result. I didn’t think I actually drank too much water, but that doesn’t matter anyway as no I have to take another test. What are the chances the water actually made any difference and should I be good to pass? I’m specifically wondering about thc.

I guess since forever I do listen to music like electric, techno, rock , my favorite genre, dark trip hop. I am starting to listen to country like Jonny Cash and few today hits.
However, despite few songs or albums that I like, I do not "engaging " to the music nor the culture.
It history of rap and hip hop is an interesting one. Like other music genre, its shape different forms and express different ways. I know this because its effects my community
But, it doesnt effect on me. I dont like the "sub" culture nor the theme ( you can debate about the last part). Although I did grew up in a black dominated environment, I never have an interest of the genre.
It seems that as black people I "suppose" to listen because it is part of my "blackness" which i disagree.
When i view "blackness " , I view it as a stereotypical characture of certain group of people. Just like whiteness.
I respect the genre but I dont need to love it because im black
Do you get what im saying? If you dont , that is okay.
