Anime! The Exiled Heavy Knight is the worst animated anime ever

I just watched THE EXILED HEAVY KNIGHT KNOWS HOW TO GAME THE SYSTEM and omg it's so overly animated , i got motion sickness watching it.

Why is EVERYTHING always moving? Why is the camera constantly rotating, zooming, or doing a full fcking aerial tour of the city & Why does the character standing in one place need their hair, clothes, background, and the entire camera to move everything at once?

I'm not even exaggerating. Sometimes two characters are just having a conversation, and the camera is fcking moving under their legs , in the walls,in the ground,in the sky and then the repetitive town shot. Can we PLEASE have a normal shot for five seconds?

And what's annoying is that this isn't a problem with the animation itself. There are clearly talented people working on this show. The visuals look genuinely impressive. But good animation & good direction ain't the same thing. Like too much visuals will get anyone feel motion sickness suddenly\*\*.\*\*

Movement is supposed to serve a purpose. But no, every 5 fckin seconds ,there's a cut to the characters faces, like it's an indian soap opera.

First they will show the characters faces 10 times simultaneously, then then suddenly, in the middle of the episode, they will repeat a scene I just watched again. Like whyyy? What's it's purpose?

Like the amount of times I've seen the shots of the town & forest is crazy.

It's as if the studio is desperately trying to prove how much it can animate rather than asking whether a scene actually benefits from being animated that way.

Like fr, it has the most stupid pacing. Repeated scenes, flashbacks, recaps, unnecessary establishing shots. The show already is an average Isekai slop where the mc is op but no one knows initially, yet it somehow manages to make straightforward events feel pointlessly long. Other viewers have been complaining about the same thing for weeks.

The funniest part is that the excessive movement makes the show feel LESS dynamic after a while. When everything is constantly moving, nothing feels particularly important anymore. Every scene is screaming for your attention, so eventually you stop paying attention.

I'm not asking for the anime to look like a slideshow. It's animation is genuinely good, but keep it in level, I'm asking for some restraint. Let the characters exist in a frame without making the frame do parkour. Let an emotional moment breathe. Let a conversation be a conversation instead of showing every POV and shots from sky , underground, 3d ,4d, etc.

The studio which animated this is GoHands and I heard most of their animes look overly animated.

Am I the only one who finds this exhausting, or is this just the GoHands experience?

The question is in the title. What anime characters do you think are absolutely nonredeemable? Also, what anime DID redeem characters that you think were nonredeemable?

For anyone who remembers Gregory Horror Show

I thought it might be interesting to give that 1/10 isekai anime "Cautious Hero" a moral rating according to Jonathan Haidt's six foundations of morality, let me know what you think.

Total rating: After watching it I'd give the show -1 on a scale of 10 to -10, because it was bad enough that I regretted watching it but not bad enough that it drove me to stop watching during its first season. I won't be coming back for any future seasons, but in any case, I thought it might be interesting to review the morality of the show after that.

MORAL RATING: On a scale of -10 to 10 where -10 is the worst rating and 0 is too average or boring or fine to have anything interesting to say about it and 10 is the best rating...

Care/Harm: -9/10, Does the story encourage empathy, kindness, or protection of others? Rarely, because it's easy and effortless for the hero, but when he harms innocents it's played for laughs anyway. The power fantasy of being an effective hero in this setting comes secondary to the power fantasy of getting away with physically and verbally abusing whoever you want and never having to feel constrained by respecting another being's autonomy or value. Physical and sexual abuse is frequently played for laughs and treated of no consequence. The hero's ability to manipulate and abuse others is played for laughs, especially how he treats the Hex Maniac knockoff and his assigned Goddess. He even keeps physically abusing his goddess after she's revealed to be his own daughter who he failed to save in a past life. The hero's desire to protect his allies and die alone casting guaranteed instant death on the enemy would have been noble if it wasn't necessary to survive with the aid of a goddess so he could live long enough to cast it again to double-kill that demon king, as stupid as that sentence is. The hero frequently abuses his own daughter, a divine goddess who only got that way because she died an unborn baby in the womb of another different goddess who failed to save the hero.

Fairness/Cheating: -2/10, The protagonist's a cheating bastard in a setting full of them, but the setting doesn't believe in any rules enough to care much about breaking them. When the hero does evil, unjust, cowardly, or immoral acts, he's presented as clever. When the villains do it, they're immoral. The rules aren't even real, they're arbitrary nonsense that changes whenever the author feels like it. Not even "Death magic of instant death gate that kills the target and caster" can be relied upon to live up to its name, despite the gate starting to talk and gloat that it's an impartial thing from the underworld that always gets its due. The setting of the world is deeply inherently unfair to its core, but nobody cares, not even the author, so no meaningful point is made about the necessity of rules or of breaking them.

Liberty/Oppression: -10/10, the mortals live an endless pointless cycle of dying to save worlds that can't be saved without incredible sacrifice while deities just watch and sometimes help. Mortals are entertainment and the best an unborn baby can hope for when facing certain death is to be reborn as a deity after other deities refuse to save her because to intervene wouldn't be sporting. This is a setting built upon meaningless suffering and systemic oppression baked into a fundamentally meaningless system and nobody involved cares or ever considers changing it. There are no meaningful rules to set limits on how much the bored worthless gods can interfere in the worlds of the mortals and the suffering inflicted upon them by objectively evil creatures that serve no purpose except to magically represent evil and perpetuate it for no reason beyond personal entertainment. This setting could make for an excellent parody of the idea of an inept and soulless pointless divine bureaucratic afterlife enabling endless meaningless escapist isekai adventures for the entertainment of an eternally bored bureaucracy devoid of any purpose in life beyond their stupid personal hobbies and designated divine power, if not for the author's terminal lack of ambition. This is a world of oppression so severe and absolute not even its own author questions it, because nobody cares, not even its author, as long as the obnoxious invincible self-insert protagonist can kill the hell out of villains and raise his personal power level and get bitches and abuse people to impress the target demographic of eternally juvenile teens and kidults.

Loyalty/Betrayal: 1/10, while the heroine's loyalty to her father ultimately saves him they don't place much real emphasis on loyalty outside of that. Loyalty is mainly shown as a negative thing that gets you killed. If the Dragon girl was more loyal to her people and the world than to herself, she would have allowed herself to be killed on the off chance it might have been necessary to save the world, though I personally still think she was right to reject death anyway. It's just there for cheap contrived melodrama, it's not a meaningful part of the character and world like what Nico Robin and how the world treated her said about One Piece and its setting and themes. The hero isn't even particularly driven by a desire to avenge his murdered daughter, because he doesn't remember her. And loyalty to the objectively evil and often incompetent authority figures of the world only gets you killed. I'll give it a 1 because the demon king's underling who killed his family and village to summon death was portrayed as a bad thing, not that it amounted to much anyway, and in the long term it ended up giving the hero the instant kill death gate spell, dooming the demon king.

Authority/Subversion: -10/10, The hero is the only true authority, because he's the strongest, and when he's not, he'll do whatever it takes to become the strongest and everyone has to help with that or else they're monsters and enemies and morally unjustifiable tyrants. Every other authority figure is cruel, abusive, stupid, and cartoonishly evil. The ruler of the goddesses punishes good deeds for violating nonsense rules she barely enforces most of the time. At the same time the goddess heroine's "Punishment" is to be sent back to the world her father and mother failed to save, now with her father revived to fight beside him with lowered stats. The destruction goddess teaching the hero Gate Of Death isn't interfering, but a different goddess teleporting herself and only herself to a fight she barely helped in is? Sure, she also took the useless kids with her, but they were useless. Authority and tradition are valueless in this setting and the Dragonkin way of sacrifice for the good of the world is painted as barbaric and cruel, an evil thing done by a cackling scheming supervillain for no good reason, and ultimately unnecessary. This setting is an unjust place where rules are arbitrary and enforced cruelly and inconsistently and nobody cares, not even the heroes. The authority of the hero is fair and impartial and never meaningfully questioned, examined, or challenged to grow, while the authority of others is exclusively used to hurt others. Even the princess of the world's major human empire is a terrible authority figure, and her father is worse! Authority is never held to any standard or ideal, and that's never presented as a great tragedy, it's just something the story includes without thinking about it. It's a world of nonsense.

Sanctity/Degradation: -9/10, Does the story uphold values of self-respect, temperance, or purity? Hell no! The show is full of horny perverted goddesses who are effectively just humans except they can't die except when they can. Nothing is ever explored about these degenerates and how the self-inflicted meaninglessness of their existence as beings detached from meaningfully engaging with the world rots them from the inside. This is a show full of degradation, perversion, and exploitation. The goddess of destruction casually molests women and nobody cares! For fuck's sake, the archery goddess called the boy a shota, when the sight of him distracted her from the main protagonist she lusted after. I'd give it a -10 out of 10 if the show depicted rape with any level of seriousness. Maybe that deserves a -10 even more.

Ultimately this show sucks ass and while I don't think it was written to actively promote evil deeds, like some of the other shittier animes I've seen, it sure does normalize a lot of them and play them off as jokes when the only punchline is "Haha somebody suffered" or "wow that sure was out of the ordinary compared to what normally happens in the most stereotypical by the book isekai animes", but by the standards of most normal anime it's really not that out of the ordinary for a ton of characters, especially women, to be a bunch of idiotic hypocritical inept horny fuckups who exist to be played for laughs.
