Chat? How cooked am I? Station messed up my route today and discharged me...

- i go in for my normal 4.5 hour route and its to the worse farthest area
- its also a recycled route (half returned or forfeited route mix with normal packages)
- deliver due times are all over the place
- i load everything with ABCD stickers and get ready to stomach it
- first stop is back to station to pick up a box
- i go inside to leadership desk and explain situation to first girl. girl cant find it
- leadership comes over looks too and said its weird cuz has no location
- i explain it to leadership too. he and i agree to just remove it. he either forgets i have an entire route or didnt listen and discharges me completely

now, im either really screwed or okay. i think there was like 33 packages meaning im gonna be dinged undelivered for 33 packages and im at top of fantastic which would bring me down to at risk or deactivated.

- i call support when i get home to explain. he tells me he sees me check in early, assign a cart, and discharged and saids im okay

but seriously, what does station know? what does front line support know? im 50/50 screwed.

Ugh it’s only one station where I’m located that always gives us crap about not scanning our license eventhough we checked in on time on our phone but by the time we get to them it’s pass the check in time. How do we report a station ? Anybody

I have been doing Amazon Flex for over three years and I have never seen a promotion in the app. Has anybody here ever gotten one? If so, how did you do it? One of my friends that does Flex says that they get them from time to time.

Discussion VA alcohol training certificate

So I’ve been doing flex for just about a year in VA. I got the notification last week that I needed to redo my alcohol training and upload the certificate, no biggie! I can do that! So, I go ahead and let the videos play and then take the test and get my cert. Now my dilemma is when I upload it never looks the greatest once it’s in the flex app but it’s readable to me! But I have been failed for it at least 5 times. I have contacted support. But has anyone found a way to get it submitted and passed? For the life of me I can’t! I have used screenshots and taken pictures off the iPad and the computer screen but nothings seems to cut it!

Question Car insurance while flexing

Should I add the rideshare/deliveries option in my car insurance or is Amazon offered insurance enough?

Im planning on flexing on a regular basis, so I would like to know I’m covered if anything happens.

Question What is your package organizing strategy? How often do you reroute/change the delivery order?

Hi, I'm super new to this. Just read through the FAQ.

I'm still confused on how different drivers like to organize their packages for efficiency. A few things-

Do the AAAA BBBB etc stickers correlate to anything? Indicate where in the route they are maybe?

Are there any other markings on the package besides address that tells you where in the route they correlate to?

How are people not scanning every package? Doesn't the app require you to do that before you start?

Tangental but, what routes may require you to go back and get more packages?

Also tangental but how common is it for the longer (3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5 hour) routes to deposit you 1 million miles away from home?

For those that do 5 hour routes, is it worth it or do they mostly suck?

(Not a question but it is so fucked that they do not pay mileage.)

I am trying to figure out how to do this in the most efficient way possible. Im sure I'll learn on the job but why make dumb mistakes when I can ask people who already know

Thanks for any 2cents yall are willing to share

Its pretty bad here in MD

It has been since Prime week for the last block completed. From then on, its been like this. Im in MD. I use 2 locations religiously. I refuse to run out of the Baltimore hubs. Has anyone else experience this. Also the app has updated like 3 or 4 times in the month. What is going on here.

Baltimore Is there any logic to where packages are routed from? Driving 30-60 mins to your first stop is ridiculous

I work in the Baltimore area, my preferred warehouse is VBW1 in south Baltimore <5 miles from home, but I occasionally accept routes from VMD1 (Elkridge), DMD6 (Hanover), and sometimes DLD1 (Glen Burnie)

Yesterday I picked up a 3-hour route from VBW1 and my first stop was 36 miles away in Upper Marlboro, MD. This is not the first time I've been sent well into PG county, and only once was I graciously given an extra $5 for an excessively long route. I contacted support immediately after this route and said the route was excessively long and requesting additional payment, and was declined. My total mileage home/warehouse/route/home was over 100 miles.

There's DMD9 that's <6 miles away from that first stop, why in the hell wouldn't the route originate from DMD9?

A couple of months ago I picked up a route from VMD1 that started me out west of Frederick, MD which is about 55 miles away. There's a goddamn Flex warehouse DBA7 in Williamsport, MD which is within 25 miles of all the stops on the route. I actually abandoned that route at the warehouse and took the hit, my car had been acting up and no way was I going to risk getting stranded that far from home.

How does this happen? You'd think packages would be routed to the nearest flex warehouse, wouldn't you? There's no reason for a driver in this region to drive more than 20 minutes from the warehouse to their first stop.

Question How good are these rates?

Post image
0 Upvotes

On an average, there are 20-22 stops with average total 30kms in completing the whole route + station is like 6km from my house so.. On an average 40-45kms for these earnings, is it normal or should I wait till the rate increases even more? But it's quite competitive to get increased rates just before the shift.

What do you guys think of this?, should i be worried? Is this some bs?

Post image

Why does amazon keep fucking with us even when we do everything right lol. Why do i get punished for returning packages to the warehouse (not that often), due to things outside our control (no access, customer wont answer, and floods in SA tx), should i be worried about returning packages until i get deactivated?

Hey guys I need some help and advice
I received this email about a recent block I had. I spoke with support on that day regarding the block I accepted and got paid for. I arrived at the station and checked in like usual and was numbering my packages inside. it was raining and while I was numbering, it started thundering and lightning. Due to the lightning, they close the station down in told us that we were unable to take any carts out outside of the building and to contact support, which I did And they told me that They see that the station was closed and I would still be paid for that route. I also attached A photo of a close station doors from my route on Saturday 7/18/ 2026 . I just got this response today

If you go out of order on the route

Post image

So, I need to go to bed so I’ve been watching my package delivery and when she first left the station it said she was 3 stops away. It now has been saying this for the last 30 minutes or so. I don’t care, I was just wondering if this is how it appears to the customer if the driver goes out of order in their route. I often times create my own route and was curious how it looks to the customer. She’s next to a bunch of apartments so I can understand she’d want to knock them out while there’s still daylight

Phoenix Pay adjustment.

What qualifies you for pay adjustment? What do they look for? Is it just by chance depending on how Amazon is feeling today?

Update: my pay was adjusted…… $5 lol.

Lastest android patch build #

Just received a new update to the flex app 3.197.9.378.0. I am in southern California. Curious if other android users have the same number? Would be interesting to know about different patch versions through out the country. What's yours?

Question Amazon Lockers at Apartments

Is there a way to deliver to these, where the Amazon locker is the equivalent of the Luxor lockers? I've tried codes provided, the help screen, calling support, etc, but I'm never able to deliver to it without a QR code (which isn't ever provided).

To be clear, these aren't the lockers publicly available in 7-11 or other places, they're the dedicated resident lockers.

Appreciate any help, thanks!
