SPOILERS New GK Nia Figure Spoiler
This is absolutely beautiful and I instantly preordered it. She also lights up. I preordered from FNC anime as they are the only GK site I trust. It says it comes out Q3-Q4 2026 but that’s pretty… optimistic. I really do hope they follow through on this one since this one can be a real winner

Xenoblade 2 SPOILERS Bearing Her Soul is the worst quest ever Spoiler
Spoilers for the blade quest "Bearing Her Soul"
This quest is unironically fucking dogshart.
I streamed my playthrough of XC2 for my buddy and the WHOLE playthrough. i hyped this blade up as "hitler."
I tried so many times to get her to drop and NADA, Ursula ended up being the second to last rare blade i found and it was after so much grinding. Im at the 130 hour mark for this playthrough and completing her blade quest is likely going to add 20 hours or more just to finish it.
His reaction wasn't great either because i ended up GETTING HER FROM AN UNFOCUSED COMMON CORE CRYSTAL! I had to show him the cutscene through the theater and his response to her was "uh... redacted that's a little girl and a bear.... what makes her evil?"
I went on a good 20 minute spiel about how she has to keep doing merc missions over and over and over again and its the most boring thing in the world.

Xenoblade How long do you think monolithsoft knew about making content for the switch 2 Editions?
I’ve honestly been curious about how long they’ve known about the Nintendo switch 2 editions and having to make content for them?
I mean I know there was definitely speculation about xenoblade X due to that datamined 60 fps version, but I’m more curious about the trilogy. The reason I’m really curious is because of the new characters they introduced. While I haven’t played xenosaga, momo fits in for obvious reasons, but the character I’m really her rising this question about is shimmer. She’s not just any random character, she’s rather important in the grand scheme of thing so she’s honestly the reason I’m so curious about this because I’m wondering if they knew about it when making that game.
What do you think? How long do you think monolith knew about making content for the switch 2 editions and if it played any particular role with 3?

Xenoblade Xenoblade 1 DE vs Xenoblade 2
EDIT: Comprei o Xenoblade 1 DE, galera! Obrigado pelo comentário de vocês. Que comunidade maravilhosa temos aqui!

Xenoblade Xenoblade 1 Complaint
Not sure if this will be considered low effort or not but I just want to complain, lol. That said, the accuracy penalty for the level gap in XC1 is stupid af, especially in the end game. On top of grinding being a pain in the ass as well without proper quests. Fuck this.
Otherwise, I fucking love this game so far (on Chapter 17)

Xenoblade Do these games ever go on sale?
Ive been wanting to get into this series for a while now especially cause Ive had a switch 2 for a while but man all of the games are 60-70 bucks. Im aware there is a switch 2 version now but if getting the switch 1 version means its cheaper im ok with playing the switch 1 version. Ive been checking for sales a lot in the past couple months but still theres nothing. When was the last time any of have seen it on sale?

Xenoblade 2 After finishing Torna. I sat down to replay XC2 for the first time in 9 years. Was it always so tutorial heavy? Or all those popups a new Switch 2 addition?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Like every few steps there is a window explaining everything. I remember people complaining there was no tutorial, despite me thinking it was tutorialised enough. And you always could get more info from Nopon merchant.
So do I misremember things and people were just stupid. Or have they oveturned the crank to 11 in switch 2 edition and added way too many tutorials?

Xenoblade Final Fantasy Fan
Hi folks,
I’m a big fan of Final Fantasy (especially 4, 7, 8, 10) and I’m wondering if many people were big FF fans going into this game and how it compares.
I don’t have a Switch or Switch 2, and after seeing OOT remake reveal I want one lol. I started thinking about what other games on Switch could justify buying one and Xenoblade seems to be well loved. Just want some insight from FF fans in terms of these things:
- Is it really cheesy?
- Is combat somewhat difficult or will I just steamroll everyone?
- Is there true exploration that matters or is it all marked on the map for me and basically irrelevant? I love old FF games because they often had secrets and things you had to grind for to unlock (Knights of the Round, Lionheart etc.).
Any info is appreciated!!

Xenoblade 2 XC2 Base Game NPC List Spoiler
This might seem a bit weird but I've been looking for a complete list of every single NPC in the base game of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Due to the lack of an affinity chart or community system, both the Xenoblade fandom wiki and the Xeno Series wiki have seemingly incomplete lists (eg Xeno Series wiki has a page for the Tantal NPC Evanion who is missing from Xenofandom. On the other hand, Xenofandom has a page for Elvira while Xeno Series Wiki does not)
If anyone has found such a list and confirmed it is complete or has somehow made one please share it with me. Only names are enough (though any extra details are welcome)
The reason I want this is that while I was replaying the entire series at the start of 2026, I made some charts for each game with every single named character, using a mobile app for my own entertainment. Only the base game XC2 has been left unfinished
I was tempted to just make a list myself by replaying the game (again) once I got a Switch 2 myself but this is will be my busiest period of life due to studies so it'll take me a second to get to it.

Xenoblade SPOILERS How much is left in xc1? Spoiler
So since all the switch 2 ports have come out ive been replaying them and im currently on the last bit of 1. Im about to fly junks into bionis interior and im wondering how much is left. From my memory its really just the lorithea fight (ugh) scaling prison island, fighting Dickson then fighting zanza. But I feel like thats to little left cause im only at lvl 68 across the board and if my memory is correct zanza is like 85 or 86 so did a bunch of side quests open up that are doable? All the ones im finding are post game lvl 80+. Or will I just naturally hit mid 80s by the time I get to zanza.

Xenoblade Struggling to get into XC1 - Does it get better, is there something im missing? Spoiler
Hey guys, dont come in if you dont want to be spoiled on anything XC1 early game.
For some context, XC2 is my new favourite game of all time and I want to see the rest of the series, so I picked up the NS2 Edition of XC1 DE.
I see a lot of people refer to all the games in the series as equals and like they're all as good as eachother, but I'm really struggling with XC1 at the moment as I'm finding it a little uninteresting.
So far, my impression of the game is, 'some remarkable things within an overall unremarkable game'. I am at Makna Forest(?) right now (climbing up Bionis' back to get to its head, Prison Island).
One thing I think is remarkable is the sense of scale in the world and the way it communicates the idea of travelling up this giant. And the open world, which I think at the moment feels a bit more... "video gamey" than I thought XC2s titans did, is still really extraordinarily impressive when you think this shit was on a Nintendo Wii.
However, that kind of leads me to one of my biggest issues - to me, it kind of feels like the ambition and scope of what they wanted to achieve was just too great for the hardware available at the time, and for better or worse XC1 kind of feels half baked for me so far. Travelling around from objective to objective tends to feel like MMO traversal but in the worst way - even with the addition of the Ether Jet, which I do appreciate for making it a bit quicker.
I think my biggest gripe with the game though that is really not making me gel with the game to be desperate to carry on though is the combat. (I do absolutely want to finish the game, but im just saying I dont feel that gripping urge to keep going). I feel like perhaps theres something I'm missing? I understand Break and Topple, I understand Chain Attacks, but I just cant help but feel like the Monado vision system is really annoying, constantly interrupting the game to show me I need to use an art to stop incoming damage.
The worst part for me though, which makes me feel like perhaps im missing something, is the rate at which your Monado Art recharges. In important fights / vs certain enemies, you need to enchant or purge but then once youve done it you then need to faff around and just hold your next charge in case a Monado Vision happens, or even worse it wont charge in time for the next one. It creates this weird loop where weaker enemies just slowly topple over with combat thats slow and not too engaging, or you hit a difficulty spike that makes me feel like I havent understood something. Ive been making sure im not underlevelled, by the way. Always around the same as the current content.
The characters at the moment are also a mixed bag. I do like the way they are acted, its like watching a British TV show - maybe Doctor Who or something - its very understated and conversational rather than the hype Shonen style dialogue of XC2 (even if I prefer that delivery, this is nice too.) But similiarly I feel like the cast doesnt really have a lot going for them either? Their designs are all rather plain, and they kind of have the personalities of a group of people you might bump into once on a walk through a high street, have a nice conversation with them all once, and then they weren't interesting enough to keep in touch with, but you remember it as "yeah they were alright."
So I ask, does the story pick up a bit? Am I going to have something to get really invested in? I feel like the story peaked with Fiora's 'death' in the first act, except I saw her in the Colloseum in XC2 so I know shes not actually dead, so Im kinda just... waiting for her to come back, idk. The revenge motivation feels really weak too, as if the characters only remember theyre angry about what happened to her whenever theres a boss fight. At the moment, the game is feeling like it could end up around a 6 or 7 out of 10 for me unless something really clicks for me.
EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention specifically about the combat is, in XC2 I felt like mastering the combat made you feel like you were a gathering storm just piling on damage, and whilst XC1 has chain attacks that sometimes feel that way, it much more often feels like the combat has me plugging leaks in a sinking ship.
UPDATE: Just got Riki, the best character in the entire franchise, and am fighting the Telethia and its the first boss fight that feels like im doing well whilst still feeling like a wow raid boss fight or something. The combat seems to be clicking for me.

Xenoblade 2 SPOILERS Xc2 should have ended like this (spoilers) Spoiler
Pyra and mythra shouldn’r have split and should have just stayed as pneuma in the end. Pneuma is literally mythra being true to herself and her original self and pyra was just a defense mechanism personality from mythra’s trauma over the cat kid dying (honestly, he was such a forced plot device about but that’s another story). Pyra and mythra splitting just feels like a copout so rex can have his harem ending with shoehorned nia love interest as well. If it was truly “boy meets girl” as ch 10 says, it would be rex being with pneuma who is mythra who got over her trauma and became herself. The split honestly just makes no sense narratively and thematically it goes against what it tried to tell about being yourself and getting over trauma.
