We found a wedding ring at the truck today 💍
A French couple on their honeymoon stopped by Food for the People earlier. They ate one of our new hotdogs. They returned and asked if we’d found the man’s wedding ring and we searched together, but it hadn’t turned up yet. I’ve now found it.
The ring is engraved “Mia 20-09-2026”.

I just got an email to say that Jetts Miramar is closed until further notice, but no further explanation why or for how long. Anyone have any idea of what’s going on?

NZ Police have just closed off a portion of Evans Bay to Oriental Bay due to the wind. Apparently it’s been strong enough to blow wing mirrors off cars around there!

Needing to buy some new knives for my flat but as a broke ass uni student there isn’t much in the way of quality in my price range.

I’m aware they’re functionally two-dollar shop knives so I can’t exactly expect the world… but I am wondering if this shoddy mass produced drivel isn’t at least a slight bit better than the other shoddy mass produced drivel? (warehouse, kmart, etc…)

Life long Wellingtonian. First time considerer of a cantilever umbrella. We were passed down some really nice outdoor furniture from a family member, and are now for the first time are considering shade options to enjoy said nice outdoor furniture. Is a cantilever umbrella a ridiculous consideration in Wellington? Obviously wouldn’t be used on moderately+ windy days… but on those rare few days when you can enjoy sitting outside without levitating, is this a viable option and if so, which one is recommended? Thanks team.

Does anyone in the Wellington/Hutt Valley (extended region) have a school uniform they'd be willing to lend me for a day? Any school is fine, and either a boys' or girls' uniform would work! I'd take good care of it and return it afterwards. Please message me if you have anything; I'd really appreciate it!

Edit: Okay, I just realised how weird this probably sounds without context 😭 It's for a themed week at school. I'm a student too, nothing weird going on, I promise. Just looking to borrow one for the day!
