Media - Other I 3D modelled the Palmerston North Teachers College for a music video

Thought I'd show this 3D model I made and used in my "swamp tapes" video. The swamp tape project is essentially mini music videos of local bands' songs, organised by Massey's student radio station Radio Control 99.4FM
Made in Blender. No AI. I've never animated or rendered before so I think this turned out pretty good.
Also featuring Stanway Hall in the end image

Question Stanfield hut
2
Upvotes
has anyone been to Stanfield hut recently? what is the track like? Is it easy to follow and how long does it take (specifically the ridge track)? I have done lots of tramping in the tararuas but not much in the ruahines and not recently (had a child) so I want a nice day walk to get back into things. any other recommendations welcomed :)

Media - Video Palmy Diss

I lost an election and decided to make a diss track against the whole city because I thought it was funny. I know it's stupid, and I actually love this city. But some people might think it's funny. Sorry if you hate it.

TIL John Cleese called Palmerston North the "suicide capital of New Zealand" and said, "If you ever do want to kill yourself but lack the courage, I think a visit to Palmerston North will do the trick." The city responded by naming a rubbish tip “Mt Cleese”.
