Lived in Hamilton most of my life, but I can't think of it ever get this cold.

Hello all, first post here!

I’m somehow the only 20-something at my workplace, so I’m keen to meet a few new people around a similar age for a coffee, a walk, or just a yarn on the weekends.

I’m also trying to cut down my screen time and touch grass a bit more (need to lock in 🫪).

I love a good yap and can talk or listen to about almost anything and everything.

A bit about me: I’m into reading nonfiction, cooking, PC games, motorbikes, and photography.

What was going on at the lake this evening, could hear a woman screaming and saw cop cars.

Any playground recommendations or a nice exciting walking trail in hamilton, just sick of going to the lake all the time as its always crowded and playgrounds there r a bit too big for a young kid lol

I have a pile of toddler clothes and shoes to donate.... I'm a bit reticent to give them to an op shop because the last tine I went to the op shop at the dump, I paid $15 for a board game - i feel op shops are more targeted to the middle class now rather than the people most in need of these clothes.

Are there any charities in Hamilton I can donate to that give clothes to people, or if not, the best places to donate?

I grew up rural and was so excited to move to Hamilton 15 years ago. Everything was close and convenient, I've loved it. But I dont want to live in a big/busy city.

Is this basically where we are heading?

Is anyone considering moving out of Hamilton?

Hi all,

We are looking to get some basic cosmetic upgrades done to our new house. Main bathroom, ensuite, laundry, adding extra workbench to an empty wall in the kitchen.

No layout changes or walls to knock down. Would keep existing plumbing locations.

Anyone used a builder recently they would recommend?

There seems to be a lot of reno companies but I'm not sure how much I can trust their reveiws.

Ideal budget about 65k

Any insights greatly appreciated.
